Case IH launch new Farmall A models

Case IH launch new Farmall A models: Case IH has launched two new Farmall A tractors, the 90hp 90 A and 100hp 100 A, which form part of the company’s extended Farmall range from 55hp to 120hp

Designed for small and medium mixed farms, together with specialist livestock enterprises and smallholdings, these robust, versatile all-round tractors are highly productive, comfortable, and manoeuvrable. Providing excellent value for money, they are ideal for applications such as hay and forage, livestock, seeding, spraying, fertilising, light tillage, and transport.

Powerful and efficient

With common rail fuel injection and 4-valves per cylinder design, the new four-cylinder, 3.6-litre FPT F5 engine is very responsive. This engine is able to provide outstanding maximum torque at lower engine speed, 380Nm and 450Nm at 1300rpm in the Farmall 90 A and Farmall 100 A respectively. The excellent 47% torque rise delivers strong lugging ability in high load situations.

Despite its considerable responsiveness, the FPT F5 is highly fuel efficient, which combined with the larger 130l fuel and 14.4l AdBlue tanks means more time can be spent working before refuelling. Another significant benefit is the 600-hour service intervals, which minimise downtime and maintenance costs.

A key feature of the engine is its highly efficient and maintenance-free After Treatment System (ATS). Developed to meet Stage V legislation, the Compact Hi-eSCR2 emissions reduction technology requires no filter replacement or mechanical cleaning. Highly effective, it integrates a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and a Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system, which is very compact due to an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) rate of less than 10%.

This advanced technology is contained under the engine hood, allowing simple, fast loader installation, together with easy access to oil and engine filters located on the left side of the tractor. With no external components, the design also maximises ground clearance, which contributes to operator safety during row crop and hay-making operations, provides excellent forward visibility and makes the tractor very easy to manoeuvre precisely.

Power is transmitted through a simple, efficient, dependable, and durable 12 x 12 40kph mechanical transmission or optional hydraulically actuated Powershuttle, the four gears in each of the three ranges enabling exactly the right speed to be selected for each task. A 20 x 20 creeper transmission option is also available.

Four-wheel drive Farmall 90 A and 100 A models feature a Class 1.0 front heavy-duty axle with electro-hydraulic differential lock, while adjustment-free annular disc brakes deliver powerful braking performance. Automatic engagement of the four-wheel drive system under braking is also available to improve performance, stability, and safety further.

Extended versatility

To extend the versatility of these new Farmall A models, the rear linkage has a maximum lift capacity of 4,400kg, while the Case IH Lift-O-Matic™ system offers fast raising and lowering of implements to a pre-set position on headlands. The tractors also feature a smooth, self-modulating electro-hydraulic independent three-speed PTO (540/540E/1000) with ECO and ground speed options.

Options includes a mechanical front linkage which can lift up to 1,400kg, a front 1,000rpm PTO and an Extra Flow open-centre pump with a very high hydraulic flow rate of 82 l/m. This improves loader cycle times further and will be beneficial when operating linkage-mounted implements through up to three remote outlets.

Both new Farmall A models can also be specified from the factory with loader-ready brackets and hydraulics, making them compatible with the Case IH front loader offering. The ideal loader for the new Farmall A is the Case IH L3815A. Utilising a simple plug and play design, it has a lift height of up to 3.8m and a maximum capacity of 1,922kg, ideal for general handling tasks.

Operators will enjoy the new 4-pillar, flat-floor cab, with up to four external working lights and easy access up wide steps to the large single door. Inside there is more space, air conditioning is standard, and the maximum sound level is just 77db. The optional roof hatch has been made wider to improve overhead visibility, while a 320° angle of vision provides outstanding all-round vision, perfect when working in confined areas. All controls are positioned in a panel to the operator’s right side and are within easy reach, the air suspended seat optimises ride comfort, while a USB socket and ‘phone holder provide added convenience.

Edoardo Ronco, Case IH Product Manager responsible for the Farmall A range, states: “The new Farmall 90 A and Farmall 100 A are significant new introductions for Case IH in this important sector of the market. Both incorporate significant benefits which make them more productive, more cost effective and more comfortable to operate.”

POLARIS RANGER SP 570

RANGER 570 has been the top choice for farmers, landowners and outdoor enthusiasts for more than a decade, and now, with rider-inspired features to deliver enhanced capability, comfort and drivability, the new mid-size RANGER SP 570 works harder and rides smoother than ever before.

“Our customers lead a busy lifestyle and they don’t want to compromise on the two things they care most about: doing good quality work and enjoying time with the family,” said Chris Judson, Vice President of RANGER, GENERAL and ATV, Polaris.  “The RANGER SP 570 was designed so they don’t have to make these trade-offs; it’s great for work, fun to ride and the perfect fit.”

Redesigned from the ground up, the RANGER SP 570 features a bold, updated style along with a host of rider-inspired improvements. The redesigned cargo box is nearly 30 percent larger, delivering class-leading volume with a single-handle tailgate for quick and easy access for loading and unloading cargo. Integrated tie-downs, slots for cargo dividers, and Lock & Ride attachment points allow users to easily secure cargo and maximize utility.

Punching well above its weight, the proven Prostar 570cc double-overhead-cam engine packs class-leading power along with a new CVT system, two-times longer belt life and an upsized and re-tuned clutch system for improved low-speed drivability. The all-new suspension provides 25.4 cm of ground clearance, a tighter turning radius and a compact width of 144.5 cm, giving the 570 a best-in-class combination of manoeuvrability and capability.

With nearly 75 litres of onboard storage, including a mobile phone holder, enclosed storage bins, a map or tablet pocket, and a massive sealed glove box, riders can take everything they need for the ride. The cab is built around the user: The dash has been moved back to provide more knee space and there is a new quieter exhaust system so riders can enjoy a conversation while the vehicle is running.

Polaris is also offering 40 all-new accessories for the RANGER SP 570, along with four new accessory collections: Landowner, Farm, Hunt and Trail. Riders now have more options than ever for customization based on how they use their vehicle. With the launch of the RANGER SP 570, comes the introduction of Polaris Pro Shield cab components to the lineup. The tightest-sealing cab system from Polaris reduces noise, water and dust from the cab for maximum rider comfort. Additionally, riders can enjoy their favourite songs wirelessly through the JBL® Trail 4.0 audio system.

The RANGER SP 570 comes in three colour options for Europe, Middle East and Africa, including Sage Green, Hunter Edition in Polaris Pursuit Camo, and Nordic Pro Edition in Black Pearl with an in-cab heater and winch.

POLARIS RANGER DIESEL DELUXE

Developed and launched specifically for markets in Europe, Middle East and Australia in 2019, the RANGER Diesel introduced refined performance with the all-new diesel engine, enhanced ergonomics, an upgraded chassis and class-leading capabilities.

New for 2022, Polaris introduces the RANGER Diesel Deluxe, combining the same durability, dependability and capability, with premium upgrades.

Jenika Bishop, RANGER Product Manager at Polaris, said: “The new Diesel Deluxe model is focused on providing our customers the value and key features they want in a vehicle, standard from the factory.”

Delivering a premium look and feel, the RANGER Diesel Deluxe is available in a sleek Matte Titanium finish, along with striking LED headlights. The LED lights deliver 60-percent more output than the traditional halogen lights for improved visibility in low-light conditions, allowing riders to stay outside for longer to get the job done. The standard steel wheels have been upgraded to new 12-inch black aluminium wheels with 27-inch 6-ply Maxxis tyres.

It’s not just the exterior changes that make the new Diesel more deluxe. Inside, riders will find an upgraded steering wheel with accent trim and premium branding and all-new seats with a contoured fit offering premium refinement, additional bolstering, and next-level comfort.

Fitted directly at the factory, the Ranger Diesel Deluxe comes with a pre-installed 8 vent in-cab heater, an under-seat box for enhanced storage, and a noise reduction system to create a more comfortable, quieter cab.

POLARIS RANGER

In addition to the all-new RANGER SP 570, the full-size RANGER lineup receives several upgrades for 2022. Polaris is always listening to its riders and dealers, and the new full-size lineup includes improvements that are a direct result of their feedback. More comfort and capability are critical for utility side-by-side customers.

For 2022, RANGER adds all-new seats. Redesigned seats offer next-level comfort thanks to upgraded cushioning and more premium material, while enhanced bolstering keeps riders more securely seated when traveling over rough terrain. Available on all XP 1000 models.

New colours have been introduced to the RANGER model lineup, RANGER XP 1000 Premium available in Matte Titanium (3-seat and crew models), RANGER XP 1000 Premium ABS in Ghost Grey. New for 2022, Polaris welcomes the RANGER CREW 1000 in Stealth Grey to the EMEA market.

Pellenc launch new Rasion 2 Models

Pellenc launch new Rasion 2 Models: Pellenc UK has announced the launch of the all new Rasion Easy 2 and Rasion Smart 2 battery powered pedestrian rotary mowers.

The original Rasion Easy was launched back in 2016 which was a combination of the previous two models in the Rasion rotary mower range – the Basic and the Smart. Feedback from users revealed that commercial operators found the manual operation of the Rasion Basic more appropriate yet they also liked the self-propelled element of the Rasion Smart.

Pellenc launch new Rasion 2 Models

Therefore, the Rasion Easy was launched to offer a combination from both models.

2019 sees a new and improved Easy model with a number of exciting key features.

Mow in silent harmony with the environment

  • New silent Brushless wheel motor with direct drive.
  • 91 dB at speed 3 and 93 dB at maximum power.

Mowing with consideration for the user’s well-being

  • Exceptionally low vibration rate of 0.7 m/s² (compared to 4.5 m/s² for a petrol mower).
  • An easy-to-handle lawn mower: Single front wheel facilitating stability and work flow. 2 wheel-locking positions: free/idle wheels or guided steering – flexible and smooth.

Enables intensive mowing over extended periods

  • New electronic management by the IMS (insulated metallic substrate) circuit board. This allows for improved heat dissipation, absorbing power peaks during intensive mowing without reducing the blade speed.
  • Optimised anti-jam system, reverse rotation of the blades to remove excess grass from the housing while keeping the mower running.
  • The ICC (intelligent cutting control) sensors will now be available as an option (not standard) on the Easy 2. This patented feature exclusive to Pellenc allows the mower to detect the height and density of the grass and change the engine speed accordingly. This saves power as operators do not have to run the machine under full-load unnecessarily.

A cutting width of 60cm with height of cut between 25-75mm, 70 litre grass box capacity and two front swivel wheels ensure the Rasion Easy 2 is ultra-manoeuvrable. Weighing less than 30kgs and folding handlebars means that transportation between sites is effortless. The Rasion Easy 2 also has an IP54 water rating, which as time goes on will be the standard through the rest of the Pellenc tool range.

All Pellenc batteries and tools come complete with a three-year commercial warranty as standard – the first manufacturer to offer this on battery-powered tools. Pellenc is exclusively distributed in the UK and Ireland by Etesia UK.

T H WHITE To Launch New Models

T H WHITE To Launch New Models: The brands Ferris, Wright, Spider and Jensen are synonymous in their sectors with high quality, innovation and problem solving. In 2018, the UK distributor T H WHITE Machinery Imports is delighted to be once again supporting the IOG and SALTEX, showcasing these four brands with an increased visibility at the event, with a huge stand size of 175m2 to give them the space and presence they deserve, including two new product launches from market leaders Ferris and Spider. The team were thrilled last year to be awarded the Best Stand award in the ‘Open Space 60m2 + category’ and are hoping to replicate this success at the 2018 event with an even larger open stand, 50m2 bigger than the 2017 space, located at stand number H190. This year models from all four brands will be displayed together, showcasing the variety of innovative equipment available through the Machinery Imports business, including a range of Ferris zero-turn mowers, Wright stander mowers, Spider slope mowers and Jensen woodchippers.

From Ferris, the stand will feature a range of machines from the smallest model – the 400S, launched in 2018, up to the bigger mowers for larger-scale commercial grass cutting, including the all new ISX®800Z, launching at Saltex this year and available from 2019. Brand new from Ferris, the zero-turn, ride-on ISX®800Z features the latest technology to provide a commercial mower with superior performance, quality and comfort. The 132cm rear discharge deck features a factory-fitted mulching insert as well as Ferris iCD™ technology, with the user also benefitting from mowing speeds up to 16km/h. All new to the industry is the addition of a double wishbone suspension system, providing increased contact with the turf for more uniform, high quality mowing, as well as ensuring a more comfortable ride over bumps and dips in the ground with improved steering and handling.

T H WHITE To Launch New Models

The all new 400S, which was launched this year, features the patented Ferris all-round suspension as well as an innovative ‘Triple Deck’ with easy-to-change deck options including side and rear discharge, mulch and 50/50 rear and mulch discharge options. Not only that, all 400S models bought this year come with a free Service Jack for easy and quick maintenance and deck changes.

In addition, visitors will be able to see a selection of Wright zero-turn stander mowers and remote-controlled robotic slope mowers from industry leading Spider, with the ability to mow uneven, dangerous and sloping terrain up to 55° – all with zero-turn, four-wheel drive (called the ‘Dancing Step’ by its designers in Czech Republic) and ability to cut up to 7000m2/h. Launching from the Spider team this year is the all-new Spider X Line, their smallest commercial machine to date offering a compact profile but a huge performance. With an integrated winch capable of supporting the machine in mowing up to 55°, 6 km/h mowing speed, 65cm deck width and zero-turn drive, this 1m2 robotic mower has the cutting capacity of 3 operatives with brush cutters.

As well as pioneering groundcare machinery, Machinery Imports are pleased to display examples from the wide range of Jensen woodchippers available in the UK, the largest of any chipper manufacturer in the industry.

In support of the IOG and in attendance at SALTEX again this year, Jensen has models ranging from 6” to 12” in capacity, including trailed, tracked, PTO and custom options, as well as a turntable option on all 8” and above chippers. Jensen really does offer a chipper for all customers and situations and we’d be delighted to talk to visitors about the solutions on offer at our SALTEX stand.

Whilst horticulture and arboriculture can be very distinct sectors, we meet customers regularly that require machinery for both grass and tree care. This overlap affords us the opportunity to present all four of our brands together to provide a varied choice of machinery for those users who require a combination of horticulture and arboriculture equipment within their business, as well as knowledge and insight on both sectors to provide customers with the most accurate and useful information possible to make an informed buying decision.

The team are looking forward to meeting new and existing customers and dealers on the stand, H190, showing the vast selection of machinery on offer and discussing opportunities for free demonstrations and site visits throughout the coming months.
