Seaford Head Golf Course is looking to recruit a full time Deputy Head Greenkeeper to join our skilled and experienced team, helping ensure the course is presented, maintained and developed to a consistently high level.
Are you an enthusiastic and motivated individual? Are you driven by delivering a course presented at a its highest possible standard and proving an exciting and challenging play for golfers? Set atop the clifftops, Seaford Head Golf Course is renowned amongst players as a stimulating course for golfers of all abilities, with its stunning land and seascapes and its pure resilience; the course regularly remains open 364 days a year, withstanding the natural elements and just recently, even managing to stave off the drought thanks to the careful management and feeding regime by the greenkeeping team.
Working under the direction of the Head Greenkeeper with over 18 years’ service at the course and an Assessor qualification, you will be contributing to the ongoing development of this fantastic course and helping manage the four-strong team. If you have 5+ years’ greenkeeping experience, are qualified in the safe use and application of pesticides and hold a Level 3 qualification (or are working towards this), this could be the role for you.
The role is on a full time, permanent basis, for 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend rota work and seasonal adjustments to core hours for summer and winter. The Council will provide full uniform and PPE required in the line of your duties.
