Stoke City Football Club are looking for a Groundsperson to support our ongoing operations for Stoke City Football Club, including the Clayton wood Training ground and the bet365 Stadium.
We are looking to expand our Grounds team with dedicated, highly motivated and professional individual who have a passion for Groundsmanship. Reporting to the Grounds Manager and Deputy Grounds Managers, you will be involved in the day to day maintenance of all types of sports turf and the preparation of pitches to a high standard for both play and training at the bet365 Stadium pitch, pitches at the Club’s Clayton Wood training ground and the indoor pitch facility adjacent to the stadium. Additionally the role will include the general maintenance of landscaped areas on all sites you should have a flexible approach to working hours and tasks. This position will involve working weekends, which may require early morning or late evening attendances.

The position is offered on a full time basis. The successful applicant will be available to work a minimum of any 5 days from 7 and will be available to work evenings and weekends to cover match day fixtures and other adhoc events at the bet365 Stadium and Clayton Wood. NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Management or equivalent and experience in a football environment is desirable. A driving licence is essential.
All relevant training will be provided.
