Rigby Taylor’s continued business growth requires high calibre individuals to join its amenity turf and landscape products sales team in the Scotland.



Applications are now open for our Technical Sales Training Programme, which commences in July 2021. The programme entails training on a Sales Support basis, supporting the current Sales Team based throughout Scotland.

You will be on a three to four-year learning curve, with the opportunity of being appointed as a Technical Sales Representative managing your own territory calling upon end-users and contractors, supporting the company’s eminent range of fertilizers, grass seeds, soil health and plant protection products, line marking and irrigation systems.

You are

A person looking for the opportunity to enter a career in sales and technical support, within an exciting sports and landscaping business environment. Enthusiastic, energetic and highly motivated, you are an individual with excellent social and interpersonal skills and have the drive, determination and ambition to succeed. The role will require you to confidently display a professional manner, whilst interacting with a wide range of personalities across different environments.

Ideally you will be qualified in;
• Sports Turf Science HNC/HND/BSC) or;
• A closely related plant and soil science discipline or
• Greenkeeping/Groundsmanship (Level 3 and above)

Finally, you are someone with a basic understanding of the turf industry and who can also demonstrate a good level of IT literacy.
