Assistant Greenkeeper
The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Greenkeeper to join our experienced and dedicated team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining and improving our 18-hole championship course to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily maintenance tasks including mowing, bunker raking, divoting, and turf care
- Use and upkeep of modern greenkeeping machinery
- Assisting in course projects, renovations, and improvements
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
- Working as part of a team to ensure optimal playing conditions year-round
Ideal Candidate:
- NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Management (or working towards it)
- Previous greenkeeping or grounds maintenance experience preferred
- A passion for golf course presentation and sustainability
- Flexible, reliable, and willing to work weekends and early mornings on a rota basis
- PA1, PA2, PA6 spraying certificates (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
