Finnish manufacturer of market-defining spider lifts and part of the Avant Group, Leguan Lifts, has announced a €10 million investment in a new production facility that will significantly expand the company’s manufacturing capabilities.

The sister company of Avant Tecno is confident that their new facility in Ylöjärvi, Finland, will support their long-term growth strategy, allowing them to improve operational efficiency, increase output capacity and strengthen their ability to serve expanding global demand.

Leguan Lifts specialise in designing and manufacturing reliable, technologically-advanced and off-road-capable self-propelled access platforms.
Unlike standard access platforms – also known as cherry pickers – Leguan’s spider lifts are engineered to tackle challenging terrain with outstanding stability, making them a safe, easy-to-use solution for construction, plant hire, facilities management and more.
As their latest innovation, Leguan launched a fully electric alternative to their standard diesel range, delivering the same speed and performance while reducing emissions and operating costs.
Due to their many benefits, the demand for Leguan’s machinery has grown exponentially in recent years, and the Finnish company aims to meet increasing customer demand through its new production facility and expanded assembly stations.
“The additional production space will allow Leguan to substantially increase the number of machines it manufactures. This is great news for our UK market, where our dealer network has already embraced the Avant Group’s Finnish engineering and will be eager to offer customers even greater access to Leguan’s innovative all-terrain access platforms” adds Raimo.
Looking ahead, Leguan Lifts plans to expand the site even further by constructing a new showroom and modern office spaces.
The new showroom will allow Leguan to improve customer relationships, organise training and host events right at the heart of production.
