The brand believes the future of golf depends not only on attracting more women and girls to play the game, but on creating an industry where women can build careers, lead organisations and drive innovation.

Working alongside golf clubs, governing bodies, tournament partners and educational organisations, Husqvarna will focus on four key areas: creating more inclusive pathways into golf, supporting women’s careers across turf management and technology, increasing the visibility of female role models, and embedding diversity and inclusion across its golf activities.

This commitment has recently been strengthened through Husqvarna’s signing of The R&A Women in Golf Charter, reinforcing the brand’s ambition to help create a more inclusive future for the game.
“Creating more opportunities for women in golf means looking beyond participation. We also need to inspire more women to see golf as an industry where they can build rewarding careers, lead organisations and help shape the future of the game,” said Yvette Henshall-Bell, President, Husqvarna Forest & Garden Division.

“At Husqvarna, we’re proud to support initiatives that encourage greater representation across every part of golf, from championship sport and course management to technology, sustainability and leadership,” she added.

Husqvarna’s commitment is reflected across a range of global initiatives. The company supports leading women’s events, including the AIG Women’s Open; the Australian Women’s Open and Australian WPGA Championship, while its ambassador team includes Anna Nordqvist, Iona Stephen, Sarah Stirk and Ellie Skoog.

Away from elite competition, Husqvarna is helping to promote careers in golf through initiatives such as BIGGA’s First Green programme, supporting STEM education and showcasing opportunities within robotics, engineering, turf management and sustainability. The company also participated in The R&A Women in Sport Summit, joining leaders from across the industry to discuss how organisations can create more inclusive environments and increase opportunities for women.

With a heritage spanning more than 335 years and partnerships with golf facilities in more than 100 countries, Husqvarna believes the future of golf depends on embracing innovation, sustainability and inclusion. By becoming a signatory of The R&A Women in Golf Charter, the company is committing to measurable actions that will help shape a more diverse and sustainable future for the game.
