Job Description

We require a full-time lawn operative to work in South Oxfordshire, Aylesbury, High Wycombe and surrounding areas, with an immediate start available.

You’ll attend domestic properties to carry out lawn treatments such as fertilising, scarification, aeration, overseeding, weed treatment, disease control, and providing customers with quotations for our services. There is no garden maintenance or grass cutting involved.

Knowledge of the local area is essential, and you’ll need to be able to load and drive a company vehicle. As a company we pride ourselves on the relationships we build with our customers, so good communication and customer service skills are essential.

Applicants must:

  • have an interest in lawns and some previous experience in the golf, sports turf or horticultural sectors
  • be prepared to develop their turf maintenance skills in order to work to a consistently high standard, taking pride in your work
  • be polite, honest and flexible, with a positive, hard-working attitude
  • have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team

This is a permanent, full time position (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) with a bonus available. Applicants with a PA1 and PA6 qualification are preferred, however full training will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: £26,000.00 – £29,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types: Yearly bonus

Experience: Gardening/grounds maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification: UK driving licence (required), PA1/PA6 qualification (preferred)
