Turf Tidy 1100

The Turf-Tidy 1100 is a compact, versatile solution for keeping turf clean and healthy. Combining mowing, scarifying, and sweeping in a single tractor-mounted machine, it reduces the need for multiple passes and multiple pieces of equipment.

Highly manoeuvrable, it’s ideal for sites where access is tight, while the clamshell hopper makes collecting and emptying debris simple and efficient during busy renovation periods.

Overseeder 3D 1575

Freshly redesigned, the Overseeder 3D 1575 now features a new seed delivery system with single-point adjustment, improving ease of use and accuracy.

Tough cutting discs slice clean grooves into the soil, placing seed at the optimal depth before the rear roller closes the groove for excellent soil-to-seed contact.

  • Excellent germination rates
  • Adjustable seed aperture for various seed types
  • Digital meter for precision

A durable, reliable choice for surfaces in need of recovery after last summer’s heat stress.

Verti-Drain® 2519

Aeration remains one of the most effective ways to relieve compaction and improve water movement through the profile. The Verti-Drain 2519 delivers high-speed performance with a maximum working depth of 10” / 250 mm, making it ideal for venues where productivity and agility matter.

  • Fast, efficient operation
  • Suitable across a wide range of turf types
  • Compatible with hollow or solid tines

Speed-Seed Walk-Behind

Perfect for smaller turf areas or hard-to-reach spots, the Speed-Seed WB brings Redexim overseeding technology to a pedestrian format. The self-propelled unit uses a spiked roller to create holes before dropping seed, and a rear brush ensures thorough distribution and a tidy finish.

  • Ideal for compact or awkward areas
  • Easy to transport
  • Reliable sowing and finish

Easy-Core

The Easy-Core is a pedestrian punch-action aerator built for quick, manoeuvrable coring in restricted spaces. The unit rapidly removes cores for effective de-compaction, with optional solid tines available for different soil conditions. Folding handles make transport straightforward.

  • Excellent in confined areas
  • Fast ground coverage
  • Highly manoeuvrable

Verti-Quake®

For deeper, consistent de-compaction with minimal surface disruption, the Verti-Quake uses powered offset blades to create a wave action through the soil profile. This lateral movement breaks up compaction from the surface to full working depth – even in poorer or heavily compacted soils.

  • Suitable for various soil types
  • Fast, effective aeration
  • Minimal impact on the playing surface

With spring renovations fast approaching, BTME provides an ideal chance to explore the machines that can help you restore turf health after a challenging year. The Redexim team will be on hand to talk through the full line-up and discuss which solutions best suit your site’s needs.

Hayling Golf Club Practice Area Survives Rare Tidal Event

Hayling Golf Club Practice Area Survives Rare Tidal Event: Just two weeks after the installation of a high walled, revetted practice bunker by synthetic bunker experts EcoBunker, renowned south coast links course Hayling Golf Club suffered an unprecedented tidal event that put their investment at immediate risk.

“Water resources are very limited on Hayling Island and we don’t have any irrigation on the practice ground,” explained Graeme Roberts, course manager at Hayling Golf Club. “That made EcoBunker the obvious choice for our practice bunker as it would maintain its visual appeal and playability with very limited maintenance.”

Hayling Golf Club Practice Area Survives Rare Tidal Event

However, in early December, just two weeks after the practice bunker was completed, Hayling experienced spring tides and off-shore winds that led to the highest sea levels seen in many years. The unprecedented tides pushed 20 to 30 tonnes of shingle against, and through, the boundary fence, creating a slipway for sea water to run straight into the practice area.

“Over two consecutive nights the teeing and bunker practice area was completely underwater. Sediment was spread across the whole area and our new practice bunker filled up with sea water. By the time the tide had receded on the second morning, we had significant damage across the area from the sea water, including damage to the new turf that had been laid around the bunker,” continued Graeme.

“Remarkably, despite such a significant event, the only evidence that sea water had been in the bunker was the silt deposited on the liner and a sediment line where the water had reached. With a quick brush of the face and a clean of the liner, the bunker was as good as the day it went in.”

EcoBunker CEO and inventor of synthetic bunker technology, Richard Allen commented, “We have lots of evidence from our Floridian customers that EcoBunkers have stood the test of hurricanes, storms and weather events. But I’m not sure we’ve ever heard of a bunker being completely under water for two nights! This was a huge challenge for Graeme and his team, so I’m delighted that our EcoBunker technology withstood the test and was one less thing for Graeme and his team to worry about.”

Less than two weeks after the tidal event, with a quick refresh of their EcoBunker and a significant clear up of the practice area, Graeme and his team are making great progress towards providing members and visitors with the practice experience that they have invested in.
