Modular technology for unlimited and customizable runtime

At the heart of the new Electric Tractors is the 40 Ah (56V – 2,016 Wh) STIGA ePower Pro batterydurable, powerful and modular. A single battery can cover up to 7,500 m², while adding a second battery extends the autonomy up to cover 15,000 m², offering a flexible solution for any mowing need. The modular structure of its battery compartment, combined with separate recharging capability, allows for storage and charging anywhere – even during winter months – ensuring complete freedom of use. For extended mowing sessions, the possibility to swap batteries independently means users can personalise the tractor’s runtime according to their garden size, for unlimited work capacity.

Powerful performance for the most demanding conditions

The new electric tractors are available in both side-discharge and collecting versions, each equipped with an advanced cutting system featuring a central tunnel design that ensures a constant grass flow and a consistently clean cut. The electric blade motors deliver steady speed and optimal performance, even in the most demanding conditions. Thanks to direct power transmission, response is immediate, providing smooth, quiet operation and unparalleled cutting comfort — fully electric.

Fresh aesthetic and features built for efficiency

The Electric Tractor range stands out with a bold new look: full-black details, a redesigned front grid for a new, aggressive appearance, and enhanced front LED headlights for superior visibility. A built-in storage compartment under the bonnet offers a convenient, dust-proof space to store the charger and other accessories.

Enhanced driving experience and comfort

Engineered with user comfort and simplicity in mind, the new STIGA Electric Tractor features the Quick Reverse Cut system, allowing the blades to remain active while reversing – activated by a simple click, simplifying manoeuvres even in tighter spaces. Driving the STIGA electric tractor means enjoying a comfortable driving experience. Start-up is immediate, and all controls are easily managed via the integrated dashboard. The One-pedal drive system allows you to move forward and backwards with ease, ensuring full control in every situation. What’s more, you can optimise your mowing session by connecting the machine to the STIGA.GO app, which offers personalised advice via the virtual dashboard. All this without fumes and with significantly reduced noise and vibration levels.

A complete lineup  for every need

The range includes models tailored to different garden sizes and cutting preferences, varying in cutting width, runtime, and discharge configurations – from rear collection to side discharge. Among the models: Tornado 398e, Tornado 5108e, Estate 384e, and Estate 598e, which can be configured with one or two 40 Ah ePower Pro batteries. Although aimed at consumers, each model is built on the same advanced battery architecture as STIGA’s professional-grade machines.

Germinal Amenity announces 2026 grass seed mixtures

Germinal Amenity announces 2026 grass seed mixtures: Germinal Amenity – the market leader in the development and supply of specialist seed products for the amenity sector – is delighted to announce its 2026 A Range of grass seed mixtures specially formulated for golf and sports turf applications.

For 2026, Germinal Amenity has sought to improve the already impressive A Range mixtures such as Tour Leader, ForeFront Greens and A20 Premier Ryesport by sourcing new, highly rated grass varieties that complement the top-performing varieties bred by its research and development partners, Germinal Horizon, including AberRoyal and AberRegal.

New Varieties Added

This year, Germinal Amenity is introducing the new creeping bentgrass varieties, ‘Piper’ and ‘777’ to its A Range blends for golf greens. It is also adding the new perennial ryegrass variety, ‘AberWin’, to its top specification A20 Premier Ryesport mixture for winter sports.

With its exceptionally high shoot density – the foundation of good wear tolerance and recovery – and very attractive mid-green colour, the Germinal Horizon-bred ‘AberWin’ scores highly for live ground cover and visual merit all year round, even during the most testing of ground conditions.

‘777’ is the sister grass variety to the market-leading 007 DSB and tops the BSPB Turfgrass Seed List with a shoot density score of 6.8 and visual merit of 7.0. ‘Piper’ is a brand-new variety that will reach the full BSPB list in 2027 and scores even higher with shoot density of 7.2, visual merit of 8.1 and an impressive 7.2 for fineness of leaf.

Shoot density is a key trait that allows these grasses to out compete Poa Annua in golf courses.

Germinal Amenity is adding both ‘777’ and ‘Piper’ to Tour Leader, its landmark creeping bentgrass mixture that provides unrivalled performance, seasonal adaptability, high disease resistance, and vivid colour retention.

‘Piper’ is also being added to its ForeFront Greens which combines the proven performance of the AberMajesty browntop bentgrass blend with the best creeping bents available to ensure the highest levels of disease and stress resistance.

Commenting, Richard Brown, Amenity Director at Germinal, said:

“The availability of both Piper and 777 has been highly anticipated. We are delighted to be able to incorporate them into the A Range mixtures for 2026 where they will support even greater performance on low inputs for greenkeepers.

They will also significantly enhance the genetic diversity of our leading seed blends. Diversity underpins a lot of the performance of grass mixtures; when conditions get tough, the best variety in the blend will step up to do the job, whether this is coping with shade, drought or disease. Diversity reduces risk for greenkeepers and has long been the standard sought in sports turf management, and which we are making available to greenkeepers across the A Range and in our new mixtures for 2026.

Groundskeepers can have even more confidence in our top-spec blend for winter sports, A20 Premium Ryesports, with the inclusion of AberWin which will be the first time this breakthrough, high shoot density perennial ryegrass variety will be available to the amenity sector.”

The A Range includes the full range of Germinal’s trusted and proven varieties for all landscape, golf and sports turf applications including ForeFront Greens, AberMajesty Blend, A5 Golf Tees and Tour Leader.

The A Range also offers Germinal’s pollinator-friendly wildflower products, including True Meadow. These mixtures have been formulated for a wide range of developed areas and natural habitats. They also include Regional Environmental (RE) mixtures which meet the requirements of government-sponsored biodiversity schemes in the UK.

The 2026 brochures from Germinal offer guides to unique ranges of grass, clover and wildflora amenity mixtures and are available now at germinalamenity.com or from Germinal Amenity’s Technical Sales and Amenity Turf Advisers.

Replay expands UK operations with Kubota FC3-221e Fleet

Replay expands UK operations with Kubota FC3-221e Fleet: One of the UK’s leading synthetic surface maintenance specialists has further strengthened its operation with the addition of five Kubota FC3-221e units, equipped with an out-front artificial brush.

Emerging from the pandemic with rapid growth and new investment, Replay Maintenance are now well placed to service the needs of close to 1,000 facilities nationwide – with the functionality and efficiency of the new Kubota fleet continuing a legacy of more than two decades of reliable service from their Gianni Ferrari units.

Replay expands UK operations with Kubota FC3-221e Fleet

With customers ranging from schools and universities, MOD bases, leisure centres and private sports venues, Replay have doubled their workforce since 2020 as the company continues to secure major contracts throughout the UK. “Over the years we’ve learned exactly what we need from our equipment, to keep the growing operation working effectively” explains Managing Director Nick Harris. “Our machines need to be powerful enough to perform, but light and portable enough to transport easily and simple to operate enabling our field teams to work independently.”

Replay found a perfect match with Gianni Ferrari units but welcomed Kubota’s acquisition and subtle evolution of the product line – with the five Kubota FC3-221e machines working as part of a total fleet of 16. Working closely alongside Kubota’s product development team, the FC3-221e’s have been adapted to fully meet the needs of the artificial market, ensuring Replay keep operational consistency across the fleet, avoiding retraining of staff and ensuring a seamless transition for customers.

“Kubota really listened to our feedback to make sure the FC3-221e’s tick every box for us. They’re reliable, efficient and robust enough for the daily cleaning, decompacting, brushing and infill-redistribution on sand-filled, sand-dressed and 3G pitches” Nick says. “The new units retain all the same important performance characteristics, with the added bonus of some adaptations to make for a more comfortable ride and visually more attractive machine.”

With demand high, the plan is to renew more machines over the coming years, with the Kubota FC3’s central to the growth of Replay’s new localised, regional hub strategy. In addition to their core maintenance offering, new services such as their ‘Lift and Recycle’ programme are leading the industry in a sustainable, ‘cradle to grave’ approach. “With innovation, investment and Kubota technology, we’re in a fantastic position to continue setting the benchmark for synthetic surface management in the UK.”

ICL and Syngenta reopen Turf Rewards for 2026

ICL and Syngenta reopen Turf Rewards for 2026: ICL and Syngenta have confirmed the reopening of the Turf Rewards Scheme for 2026, continuing their joint support for turf professionals across the UK and Ireland through a structured rewards scheme designed to add value to everyday purchasing decisions.

The Turf Rewards Scheme allows clubs and contracting businesses to earn reward points when purchasing selected ICL and Syngenta turf products. These points can then be redeemed against a wide range of rewards that support day-to-day operations, help improve efficiency, and add value to planned purchasing throughout the year.

ICL and Syngenta reopen Turf Rewards for 2026

New rewards for 2026 include the LightScout Quantum (PAR) Meter, a professional tool that allows turf managers to measure usable light for photosynthesis, rather than relying on visual assessments. This provides clearer insight when managing turf in shaded, low-light, or restricted environments.

For 2026, the scheme has been expanded to include Greenmaster Liquid Advance. Designed for professional turf managers, the range combines proven liquid nutrition with a biostimulant package containing MTU®, a patented molecule now available in turf for the first time. The inclusion reflects the growing role of liquid nutrition in modern turf management, particularly where flexibility, precision, and response under pressure are critical.

Two new Syngenta products, Comprevo and Vyplenza will also be added to the scheme in the coming weeks, further expanding the range of qualifying products available to turf professionals.

Turf managers across golf, sports, and amenity sectors are encouraged to sign up or resume using Turf Rewards in 2026 and make the most of the benefits available.

For full details and to register, visit www.turfrewards.com for the UK scheme or www.turfrewards.ie for the Republic of Ireland scheme.

Matt Bartle appointed Group Head of Commercial Strategy

Matt Bartle appointed Group Head of Commercial Strategy: Replay Group has appointed Matt Bartle as its new Group Head of Commercial Strategy, a newly created role designed to support the business’s continued growth, diversification and long-term strategic direction.

The appointment comes at a significant time for Replay Group, following private equity investment and the evolution of the business into four distinct divisions: Replay Maintenance, Replay Resurfacing, Replay Racquets and Replay Natural Turf.

Matt Bartle appointed Group Head of Commercial Strategy

Matt Bartle appointed Group Head of Commercial Strategy

Matt brings with him more than two decades of experience across sport, infrastructure and facilities development. His career began in 2001 at the Football Foundation, where he was part of the organisation from its inception, before moving to The FA, where he spent around ten years working across a range of national projects

In 2017, Matt founded Tri Sports Consultancy, an infrastructure masterplanning business supporting grassroots sport and organisations with projects ranging from 3G and natural turf pitches to training facilities. Throughout that time, he maintained close links with Replay.

“I’ve always had a strong association with Replay,” said Matt. “When the opportunity came to join the organisation, it was a no-brainer. The trajectory of the business and what the next three to five years could look like made it a really exciting proposition.”

Matt’s new role combines elements of commercial leadership, business development and strategic oversight. While not a traditional sales director role, the commercial team and function sit firmly within his remit.

“One of the key drivers behind becoming Replay Group is being able to talk more about the breadth of what we do,” he explained. “Maintenance is what we’re best known for, but there’s so much more to the organisation.”

That diversification includes the formal separation of Replay Resurfacing, an area the business has been delivering for more than a decade. By bringing resurfacing into its own division, Replay can take a more proactive approach, offering lifecycle planning, financial modelling and long-term solutions to its extensive client base.

“We’re already a trusted maintenance partner to over a thousand organisations nationwide,” said Matt. “Clients were already asking us about resurfacing, so formalising that offer allows us to add even more value, while maintaining that connection with them throughout the lifecycle of their facilities.”

The Replay Racquets division is another key growth area, encompassing tennis, pickleball and padel.

“There’s a huge boom in padel at the moment, but standards are critical,” he said. “We work closely with organisations like SAPCA to ensure everything we do adheres to technical guidance and best practice. We won’t compromise on quality because safety, longevity and trust matter.”

Matt is also excited by the launch of Replay Natural Turf, which further strengthens the Group’s ability to support clients with joined-up solutions.

“At its core, this is about adding value,” he added. “Whether it’s maintenance, resurfacing, rackets or natural turf, the Replay standard is non-negotiable. We want to continue leading the market, innovating and being a trusted resource for our clients for the next 20 years – just as we have been for the last 20.”

Commenting on Matt’s appointment, Nick Harris, Managing Director of the Replay Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome Matt Bartle as our new Head of Commercial Strategy.

Matt brings a wealth of experience and strategic insight and will play a key role in driving our commercial growth and strengthening partnerships as we continue to expand. We’re delighted to have him on board and look forward to the impact he will make.”
