The event brought together Confor committee members, industry partners and invited guests for a morning of discussion on key regional priorities, followed by a tour of Green-tech’s operational facility and a woodland site visit at Lotherton, organised by Tilhill.

The meeting focused on current policy and market issues affecting forestry and woodland management, including timber market conditions, sector updates, and developments impacting woodland owners and businesses.

Delegates were able to see Green-tech’s operations in action, with a site tour of the offices and extensive warehousing facilities. This was followed by a woodland visit to explore real-world application of materials and discuss woodland management and delivery on-site.

Adam Topliss, hosting on behalf of Green-tech Ltd, commented, “It was a real pleasure to welcome Confor’s North Regional Committee to Green-tech. Days like this are invaluable for bringing the sector together to share insight, discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead, and see first-hand how practical solutions can support woodland management and the wider supply chain. We were delighted to showcase our operations and to join the discussion on the future of forestry in the region.”

John Bruce, National Manager England at Confor, adds, “Green-tech’s support in hosting this meeting is greatly appreciated. It is an excellent opportunity for members to share regional updates, discuss current market and policy issues and take part in an open visit that highlights both operational best practice and practical woodland delivery.”

Moor Park Golf Club in Hertfordshire, UK has praised the impact of its new Club Car golf fleet, describing the innovative vehicles as a game-changer.

Moor Park reaps benefits after switching to Club Car

The prestigious venue, boasting two Harry Colt-designed championship courses, has installed 30 Tempos – Club Car’s industry-leading golf vehicle – complete with Bluetooth speakers and Club Car Connect technology with Visage Fleet Management.

“We wanted a premium golf cart that would offer a better experience for our golfers and be more efficient operationally,” said Amber Rees, Moor Park’s Golf Manager. “Club Car ticks both boxes.

“Our course is very hilly, so lots of our members need a cart. We also have a lot of corporate days, which is when Club Car Connect comes into its own, allowing us to display scoreboards on the screens in each vehicle and giving us control over where they can and cannot be driven.

“We’re a clay course so it does get quite wet in the winter. Having the ability to geo-fence certain areas will mean we can get more use out of them during those months, ensuring they do not go on particularly wet parts of the course.”

Rees added: “The level of service we’ve received from Club Car and the distributor, Oliver Landpower, has been excellent, as has the feedback from members and guests. And they look fantastic lined up in front of the mansion.”

Andrew Bourke, Club Car Regional Sales Manager Golf & Consumer, said: “Moor Park is one of England’s truly iconic parkland clubs, with exceptional facilities and first-class service.

“It’s wonderful to hear that the new Tempos have made an immediate impact both to the golf operations team and the golfing experience.”

The innovative Club Car Tempo is the chosen golf vehicle of many of the top clubs, courses and resorts around the world.

It delivers outstanding hill-climbing power and acceleration, and has many customisable options including colour, seats, storage, wheels and programmable drive modes to maximise performance.

Club Car is a worldwide supplier of the Ryder Cup and an official supplier to the DP World Tour. It is also a partner of the PGA of GB&I, the PGA of America and St Andrews Links Trust.

Leguan Lifts Redefines the Electric Spider Lift Market

Leguan Lifts Redefines the Electric Spider Lift Market

Leguan Lifts, a Finnish manufacturer of market-defining spider lifts, announces the new era of spider lifts, with the upcoming global launch of the electrified All-terrain series. The official worldwide launch will take place at the Apex exhibition on the 2nd of June, 2026.

Leguan Lifts Redefines the Electric Spider Lift Market

The spider lift industry is rapidly evolving as contractors, arborists, rental companies and facility maintenance professionals demand emission free, silent and full performance spider lifts without compromises. Leguan Lifts is answering this growing demand by offering its All-Terrain series lifts (170, 195, 225 and 265) with in-house-produced Avant Power OptiTemp battery.

Work Full Day with One Charge

Choosing zero emission is no longer a compromise. Leguan’s All-Terrain series paired with the OptiTemp battery offers unmatched operation time and diesel-equivalent performance. Operators can work a full day on a single charge.

Unlike generic battery solutions, the unique liquid-immersion technology keeps the battery pack operating at an optimal temperature at all times, delivering exceptional safety and consistent performance in all conditions. The battery pack is designed and manufactured in Finland by Avant Power to match Leguan’s exact requirements. The complete electric infrastructure is engineered as an integrated system to ensure efficient and reliable operation.

Purpose-built for Leguan All-Terrain Series

The OptiTemp-powered Leguan is not an additional model to the existing lineup, it is a power train option to the current fleet where customers now have the option to choose whether they want to have the diesel powertrain or an electric powertrain. The actual spider lift and its user interface remain the same. Both powertrains offer all the premium features and harmonious fleet design Leguan is known for.

“We did not want to cut corners with the electrification. The market is switching rapidly towards silent and emission-free machinery, and therefore this electrification project has been one of the most important project in our company’s history.”, explains Leguan’s VP of Sales & Marketing, Jori Mylläri.

“Many hybrid options on the market combine a combustion engine with a small battery pack, offering only limited battery capacity and compromising performance when compared with traditional diesel-powered spider lifts. Leguan Lifts OptiTemp-powered lifts, by contrast, are fully electric. The electrified All-Terrain Series delivers a full day of operation on a single charge and, in many applications, supports multi-day projects without recharging. All while maintaining dieselequivalent boom and transition speeds. The result is quiet, emission-free performance even on larger worksites.”, continues Jori Mylläri.

Leguan OptiTemp powered All-terrain series

  • Lower operating costs, maximum uptime
  • Easy-to-master, harmonious fleet
  • Charge anywhere as standard
  • Full performance with zero emissions
  • Built-in IoT connectivity

Global Launch on Apex exhibition 2026

The global launch of the electrified Leguan All-Terrain series is scheduled for the 2nd of June 2026, during the international lifting exhibition in Maastrich, the Netherlands.

Replay Maintenance and Redexim Forge Strategic Partnership

Replay Maintenance and Redexim Forge Strategic Partnership

A decade-long working relationship between Replay Maintenance and Redexim UK has evolved into an exciting new partnership – one that promises to raise the bar for artificial pitch maintenance across the UK and beyond.

Replay Maintenance and Redexim Forge Strategic Partnership

The collaboration sees Replay Maintenance become the premier UK distributor for Redexim’s synthetic turf machinery, including the all-new RTC-E, an electric version of Redexim’s trusted RTC in-house maintenance unit.

“We’ve been working closely with Redexim on an informal basis for over ten years,” explains Nick Harris, Managing Director at Replay Maintenance. “We’ve built strong relationships with the team, and as our own business has grown and developed, it just made sense to formalise that partnership – particularly around synthetic turf machinery, where we’re well placed to lead distribution and provide specialist guidance.”

Replay Maintenance is a specialist in synthetic sports surface care, servicing over 1,000 synthetic facilities annually and offering nationwide expertise in maintaining 3G, 4G, and other artificial pitches. Redexim, meanwhile, is a globally respected name in turf maintenance technology, known for its robust engineering, innovation, and commitment to quality.

“Redexim’s machines are reliable, easy to maintain, and built to do the job properly,” Nick continues. “They’ve got a core range that works incredibly well, and they continue to invest in R&D to improve and expand what they offer. That gives our customers real confidence – they know they’re investing in machines that last and perform.”

The first major development under the new partnership is the launch of the Redexim RTC-E – a fully electric ride-on maintenance unit designed specifically for in-house use on synthetic pitches.

Retaining the popular features of the original petrol-driven RTC – including its fold-out drag brushes and compact design – the RTC-E adds a new layer of convenience, sustainability, and compliance with modern environmental goals.

“This is an exciting product for the sector,” says Nick. “The RTC-E gives facilities a reliable, cost-effective machine that ticks the ESG and sustainability boxes, reduces on-site emissions, and is simple to charge and maintain. It’s more than capable of handling daily brushing and debris removal on synthetic pitches – all without the environmental impact of fossil fuel engines.”

What makes the partnership work is Replay’s deep understanding of synthetic surfaces and Redexim’s reputation for producing high-quality, reliable equipment.

“We don’t just sell equipment – we use it ourselves,” says Nick. “That gives us a unique perspective when advising clients on what machinery will best suit their surfaces, usage, and budgets. That specialism makes us very well equipped to recommend the right tools and provide tailored support.”

Paul Langford, Director of Commercial Operations for Redexim UK, agrees: “Replay Maintenance bring unmatched knowledge of synthetic sports surfaces, and we’re excited to work with them as our premier UK distributor for this specialist machinery range. Their technical expertise and direct access to a wide customer base make them the perfect partner as we continue to innovate and grow our offering in the artificial turf market.”

The partnership is also expected to evolve further, with joint R&D opportunities already being discussed. Replay’s hands-on experience maintaining a wide variety of surfaces puts them in a strong position to influence and shape future equipment development – particularly as the market moves toward organic infills and new surface technologies.

“We’re proud to represent the Redexim brand and are excited about what we can achieve together,” concludes Nick. “Whether it’s helping a school invest in the right brush unit or shaping the next generation of synthetic maintenance equipment, this partnership is about making a meaningful impact for customers.”
