For professional users, choosing a battery system is an investment that spans many years. Local authorities, landscape gardeners and service providers are investing not only in machines, but also in batteries, chargers and the appropriate infrastructure. Consequently, there is a strong desire to be able to use existing batteries on as many machines as possible.

You have the batteries. We have the professional equipment

This is precisely where the AS-Motor Electric portfolio comes in. Rather than developing its own battery system, AS-Motor integrates established battery systems into its professional machines. This means existing battery investments are retained and the machines can be seamlessly integrated into existing fleets of equipment.

High-performance battery alternatives

The requirements for professional mowing technology have not changed. A clean finish, high productivity and maximum reliability are crucial. With its Electric portfolio, AS-Motor offers high-performance battery alternatives for an ever-increasing number of tried-and-tested machines. Users benefit from the well-known advantages of modern battery technology, such as lower noise levels, reduced vibrations and less maintenance, without having to compromise on the robustness and durability of AS-Motor machines.

The right battery system for the right machine

For a battery-powered machine to perform convincingly in professional use, its power and range must be just right. A professional battery-powered machine must match, at the very least, the power and productivity of a comparable petrol-powered model. At the same time, the battery capacity must provide sufficient energy for practical running times.

Not every application has the same requirements. A professional lawnmower requires different power reserves to a heavy-duty grass cutter or a professional ride-on mower. AS-Motor therefore deliberately relies on different battery systems. With Ego Power+, the new Stihl Allpro System and the FusionCore interchangeable battery system, the company offers the right solution for every performance class. This allows professional users to continue using an existing battery system or to deliberately choose the battery platform that best suits their requirements.

Strong partners for professional battery technology

Ego is regarded as one of the most innovative manufacturers and market leaders in the field of professional 56-volt battery technology and is growing steadily in the European market. From the very beginning, Ego has consistently relied on a single battery system. As a result, all equipment – from hand-held tools to ride-on mowers – is compatible with the same batteries. The Ego Powerhead is also used by numerous manufacturers of professional gardening equipment. At AS-Motor, the Ego system forms the basis for a large part of the electric portfolio, including the E-All mowers, the E-WeedHex models and the AS 510 E-ProClip A professional mulching lawnmower.

With the new Allpro System, Stihl is expanding its established battery portfolio to include a particularly powerful platform for professional applications. Stihl batteries are among the most widely used battery systems in Europe. AS-Motor is therefore expanding its Electric portfolio to include selected machines featuring the new Stihl Allpro System. The first models to be launched are the AS 510 E-ProClip A AP professional mulching lawnmower and the AS 30 E-WeedHex AP and AS 60 E-WeedHex AP weed brushes.

FusionCore is the Ariens Company’s high-performance interchangeable battery system for professional ride-on mowers. The quick-change system allows the battery to be swapped in a matter of seconds. With additional batteries, virtually uninterrupted operation is possible throughout the day. The system is used in both Ariens’ professional zero-turn mowers and the AS 920 E-Sherpa 2WD from AS-Motor.

With its Electric portfolio, AS-Motor is pursuing a consistently user-focused approach. Rather than tying users to its own battery system, the company offers professional specialist machines featuring a range of established battery technologies. This ensures maximum flexibility, protected investments and a growing portfolio of battery-powered machines for professional use.

Making its UK debut following its launch earlier this year, the Turf-Tidy 5000 is the largest cut-and-collect machine in the Redexim range. Designed for large-scale turf maintenance, it combines flail mowing, scarifying, dethatching and debris collection in a single pass, helping contractors and grounds professionals maintain extensive areas quickly and efficiently while reducing downtime.

The Turf-Tidy 5000 joins the established Turf-Tidy 3000 and the compact Turf-Tidy 1100, giving visitors the chance to see the complete Turf-Tidy range together for the first time.

Whether maintaining sports facilities, parks, racecourses or large estates, there is now a Turf-Tidy solution suited to every scale of operation.

Alongside the new machine, Redexim will be showcasing a wide selection of equipment from across its professional turf maintenance portfolio.

Visitors can explore the renowned Verti-Drain® range, the aerators that have become synonymous with effective soil decompaction, as well as a selection of seeding equipment including the Multi-Seeder 1600, Speedseed 1500 and Overseeder 3D 1575 LV. The stand will also feature RINK top dressers, including the DS1600 EVO, designed to deliver accurate and consistent material application across sports turf and amenity surfaces.

Paul Langford, Director of Commercial Operations at Redexim, said: “Bringing the Turf-Tidy 5000 to the UK at GroundsFest lets us showcase the complete Turf-Tidy range side by side for the first time. It’s the machine our customers have been asking for – the capacity to tackle large-scale cut-and-collect work without constant emptying – and seeing it alongside the 3000 and 1100 demonstrates just how comprehensive the range has become.”

Whether you’re looking to improve aeration, overseeding, top dressing or cut-and-collect operations, a visit to the Redexim stand will provide the opportunity to see some of the industry’s leading turf maintenance equipment up close and speak to the team about finding the right solution for your requirements.
