Designed specifically for commercial users, the Hurricane™ range combines powerful airflow with true zero-turn manoeuvrability, allowing operators to clear parks, estates, sports facilities, campuses and municipal sites with speed and precision.

The range comprises two models – the compact and agile X3000 and the high-output Z3000 – both engineered to deliver exceptional productivity while reducing operator fatigue.
Powered by commercial-grade Vanguard® V-Twin engines, the Hurricane blowers feature a stand-on platform that provides excellent visibility and allows rapid mounting and dismounting when working around obstacles. A joystick-controlled airflow system enables operators to direct airflow left, right or forward, while the patented Dual Deflector Air Flow System™ allows the blast angle to be adjusted for deeper, more effective debris removal.

For contractors working on demanding sites, the zero-turn steering and dual hydrostatic drive provide outstanding manoeuvrability, making it easy to work around trees, kerbs, benches and pathways where larger tractor-mounted machines may struggle.

The X3000 is powered by a 23hp engine and delivers an impressive 184m³/min airflow, making it ideal for users requiring high productivity with compact dimensions.

For maximum output, the Z3000 features a 35hp Vanguard® engine producing up to 241m³/min airflow at 266km/h. Designed for the biggest commercial clearance jobs, it allows contractors and grounds teams to cover more area in less time, helping to improve efficiency and profitability.

Both models incorporate operator-focused features including a spacious platform with integrated thigh padding, a torsion-mounted front axle for a smoother ride over uneven ground, automatic parking brake, LED work lights and convenient transport tie-down points.

Whether clearing leaves, litter or general debris, the Billy Goat Hurricane™ Series provides professionals with a powerful alternative to traditional walk-behind blowers or larger tractor-mounted systems.

Billy Goat products are available nationwide through Henton & Chattell’s dealer network.

Next-Generation Cordless Lawn Mowers

Next-Generation Cordless Lawn Mowers

Next-Generation Cordless Lawn Mowers

Henton & Chattell has unveiled the latest cordless lawn mower line-up from EGO Power+, introducing four new models designed to deliver improved cutting precision, extended runtime, and a more intuitive user experience across its 17” and 19” platforms.

Next-Generation Cordless Lawn Mowers

Next-Generation Cordless Lawn Mowers

The new EGO mower line-up is structured to give users a clear choice between cutting widths and propulsion preferences, ensuring the right balance of manoeuvrability, productivity, and control across different lawn sizes and user requirements. The new models are the LM1711E, the LM1712E-SP , the LM1912E and the LM1914E-SP.

  • LM1711E42cm push mower
A compact, lightweight solution designed for smaller to medium gardens where precision handling and easy storage are priorities. The push configuration offers full operator control while maintaining EGO’s consistent cutting performance and efficiency.
  • LM1712E-SP42cm self-propelled mower
Built on the same 42cm cutting platform, this self-propelled variant introduces powered drive assistance, reducing user effort on sloped or more demanding terrain while maintaining smooth, controlled operation.
  • LM1912E47cm push mower
A wider 47cm cutting deck designed to increase coverage and productivity on larger lawns. The push configuration ensures agility around obstacles while delivering efficient area coverage per pass.
  • LM1914E-SP47cm self-propelled mower
The highest-specification model in the range, combining a 47cm cutting width with self-propelled drive for maximum productivity. It is designed for larger gardens and more demanding mowing conditions where reduced operator fatigue and sustained efficiency are key priorities.

Rather than incremental upgrades, the latest EGO mowers are designed to reinforce confidence in battery-powered outdoor machinery, combining intelligent power delivery with user-focused control systems. The result is improved productivity and reduced energy waste across varying mowing conditions.

Central to the 2026 update is a redesigned LED dashboard control screen, providing clearer, real-time access to machine status, performance settings, and battery information. Alongside this, automatic variable cutting speed technology dynamically adjusts cutting performance to match grass conditions, optimising blade speed to maximise runtime while maintaining consistent cutting quality.

Together, these enhancements strengthen EGO’s focus on performance-led engineering to deliver the power, responsiveness, and efficiency expected from modern cordless equipment without compromise.

Peter Chaloner, managing director of Henton & Chattell, the exclusive distributor of EGO products in the UK and Ireland, commented: “These new models are about refining the mowing experience through smarter control and more efficient power delivery. Users get consistent performance across a wide range of conditions, with improved runtime and a more intuitive interface.”

EGO’s platform is built around its proprietary 56V ARC Lithium™ battery system, engineered to deliver sustained, petrol-matching performance through advanced thermal management and intelligent power delivery. Designed as a modular ecosystem, the same battery technology powers across the full EGO range, helping users scale from handheld tools through to high-demand ride-on applications without compromising output. This unified approach ensures consistent torque, rapid charging capability, and long-term durability, reinforcing EGO’s position as a serious engineering-led alternative to petrol-powered equipment rather than a simplified substitute.

The full EGO cordless mower range is available in the UK and Ireland exclusively through authorised Henton & Chattell dealers, ensuring customers benefit from dedicated dealer support, genuine parts availability, and expert aftersales service.

Dennis Marks 80 SALTEX Shows with Latest E-Series Mowers

As SALTEX marks its 80th edition, Dennis will combine more than a century of British manufacturing and engineering expertise with its latest developments in battery-powered professional mowing; led by the new ES-34SL lightweight finishing mower.

Part of the Howardson Group, Dennis has built a global reputation for reliable, high-quality professional turfcare machinery, supporting grounds teams from grassroots facilities through to some of the world’s leading sporting venues.

A major focus at SALTEX will be the Dennis E-Series. Developed by building on the success of established Dennis petrol machines, the battery-powered range retains the cut quality, reliability and familiar operating characteristics grounds professionals expect, while adding significant operational benefits.

These include up to 80% lower running costs compared with petrol, lower maintenance and servicing requirements, low noise and vibration, and zero exhaust emissions at the point of use. Long battery run times and rapid charging also help grounds teams confidently incorporate electric machinery into demanding maintenance programmes.

Taking centre stage will be the ES-34SL, Dennis’ latest lightweight battery-powered finishing mower. Developed in response to feedback from turf professionals, it combines greater agility with the precision required for outstanding stadium presentation.

Features include an intermediate grooming brush to stand the grass up ahead of cutting, click height-of-cut adjustment in precise 0.1mm increments from 9–35mm and straightforward bottom blade-to-cylinder adjustment. The ES-34SL can cut up to four pitches on a single charge and fully recharge in approximately two hours.

SALTEX will also give visitors the opportunity to speak directly with the Dennis team about the transition to battery-powered mowing and selecting machinery to suit their individual maintenance requirements.

Visit Dennis Mowers at SALTEX 2026, NEC Birmingham, 11–12 November.
