EverEdge return to SALTEX

EverEdge return to SALTEX: The EverEdge team are looking forward to returning for Saltex 2024. We always enjoy getting out to see people face to face and we see this as a real opportunity to interact with customers, new and old.

Alongside our standard range of steel lawn edging products, we will be bringing products that are targeted specifically at the trade including our hugely popular Titan range of heavy-duty steel edging, EverEdge steel planters and, new to the range Hydra. Hydra is a 4.0mm thick steel edge with a rolled top edge giving a 12.0mm thick top profile. EverEdge Hydra is designed for projects where concrete kerbs lack the aesthetic required. Hydra will provide an attractive, sturdy and long lasting edge around car parks, on driveways and in any commercial setting where concrete pin kerb are currently the norm. We look forward to introducing this range to the visitors at Saltex.

Trade shows allow us to build relationships with clients who we normally only speak to by phone or email. We are looking forward to being able to see some of these valued customers and giving them an opportunity to get their hands on some of the products they may have seen online or in magazines but have not, as yet, had the opportunity to install. At every show we attend, we always hear “I didn’t know you did that” and customers go away with a much greater understanding of the unrivalled range of steel edging options that we offer. EverEdge provide edging products that are perfect for domestic lawns, paths and driveways as well as for stately homes, commercial spaces and large public spaces. Within the EverEdge range, there really is an edging product for any job.

Outside of the edging range, we produce steel planters, both off the shelf and made to order, as well as a heavy-duty steel bench. We pride ourselves on being 100% made in Britain. All of our products have been designed, by us, here in the UK and manufactured in The Midlands. We look forward to seeing you all at the show!

Foley to debut at SALTEX: Foley will be exhibiting at Saltex for the first time. To mark this occasion, they will be displaying the new Roll-on Roll off, quick-spin grinder introduced to the market earlier this year.

The Foley 642 Quick Spin Reel Grinder brings a whole new meaning to quick spin. It is designed to accommodate the widest of mower cylinders and is a simple roll-on roll-off solution to grinding, with the machine sitting at floor level. The wheel in and wheel out action removes all need for heavy lifting facilities, revolutionising the way the groundsman and greenkeepers view touch-up spin grinding. It offers a fast, easy operated option for providing a quick touch-up spin, between the regular relief grinding schedules. The largest machine on display will be the Dakota 310. The compact and very manoeuvrable dual spinner pedestrian top-dresser is designed to ensure you can take Dakota’s renowned spread anywhere. The six-meter-wide spread can be infinitely varied using the individual controls, making it perfect for spreading sand, rubber crumb and other top dressings on sports surfaces wherever they are located.

For precision overseeding where other machines can’t access, Campey has the Vredo Turf Buddy. Using the tried and tested double disc system, the Turf Buddy sows in four rows at a 35 mm distance, with the 15 cm discs cutting the soil open for the grass seed to be deposited at a depth between 10 and 20 mm before the wheel compacts the soil.

Sometimes, very specific areas need to be targeted, and the Campey Seed Shot is the perfect tool for the job. Using 19 holes designed for ryegrass or similar-sized seed, the tool injects up to 20 mm deep, ensuring precise quantities and optimal germination rates.

Campey product specialists will be on Stand H120 to discuss these machines and others in the Campey range, have a catch-up or discuss any questions over a coffee.

STIHL to showcase new machines at SALTEX

STIHL to showcase new machines at SALTEX: STIHL will present a range of new products at this year’s SALTEX, Europe’s premier grounds management show, between 30th – 31st October 2024.

Taking place at the NEC, Birmingham, they will be showcasing brand new battery-powered tools in the AP System range, including the BGA 250, STIHL’s most powerful handheld leaf blower, the KMA 200 R, STIHL’s most powerful KombiMotor, the TSA 300, STIHL’s first battery-powered 12” cut-off machine and the SHA 140, STIHL’s first battery-powered vacuum shredder designed for professionals.

The BGA 250 is the latest battery-powered leaf blower from STIHL. Weighing only 2.7kg, this leaf blower is lighter than the BGA 86 and boasts a significantly higher blowing force of 26 Newtons. This makes it the most powerful handheld leaf blower from STIHL, with the same blowing force on the maximum setting as the BR 430 petrol backpack blower. Due to the location of the battery on the BGA 250, it has great balance and the variable speed trigger makes it perfect for leaf clearing jobs that require high power. Thanks to constant power output technology, the blowing performance remains consistent throughout use and does not decrease as the battery discharges. Whether you use it at 100% charge or 20%, you’ll get full power until the battery has completely run out of energy.

Also on show at SALTEX is the KMA 200 R, the latest KombiMotor offering from STIHL which has a higher power output than the KM 131 petrol KombiEngine. This new addition to the AP System offers professional landscapers unrivalled performance and versatility. What’s more, the KMA 200 R can be used with a wide-range of KombiTools for taking on landscaping tasks, including brushcutter, pole pruner, sweeper brush, leaf blower, lawn edging and hedge trimmer attachments.

After many years of development, STIHL is excited to present its latest professional tool for hardscaping, construction and pipework, the TSA 300 12” cut-off machine. This model has been developed with precision in mind and features a variable speed control for achieving a significantly narrower cutting kerf in comparison to its petrol equivalent, the TS 410. This results in greater efficiency and a more accurate cut. The TSA 300 rivals the TS 410 for power and has other benefits such as being lighter, more compact and having less vibrations.

Finally, STIHL will be presenting the SHA 140, its first battery-powered vacuum shredder in the AP System. Designed for professionals, this vacuum shredder is the most powerful in its lineup and has a robust build, as well as 15% more suction power than the petrol SH 86, making it ideal for the leaf clearing season ahead.

Visitors to the STIHL stand will get the chance to see these new tools up close, observe live demonstrations, and speak with STIHL experts for advice and guidance on all STIHL machines.
