ECHO’s New 58V Hedgetrimmer

ECHO’s New 58V Hedgetrimmer: ECHO’s new HT-58V2AH offers petrol performance from a battery powered hedgetrimmer. The 58V hedgetrimmer has the same professional build quality as ECHO’s petrol models and is both powerful and tough. The power the Lithium-ion battery powered motor produces is equal to a petrol model’s output.  No effort is required to get started. There’s no mixing of two-stroke, filling a power tool’s tank or storing fuel. It’s just a matter of charge and go! Low noise, no emissions at the point of use and low vibration make this hedgetrimmer ideal for working in areas such as schools and nursing homes, parks, nature reserves and organic gardens.

The hedgetrimmer is lightweight and yet boasts enough power to tackle tough hedge cutting jobs. There’s a run time of 90 minutes and it comes with a quick charger to help reduce down time. The standard 2Ah battery is fully charged in just thirty minutes. The battery powers a robust, brushless electric motor that promises to be long lasting and maintenance-free because only non-wearing parts are used.

ECHO’s awareness of how their products will be used is reflected in the hedgetrimmer’s design, with its ergonomic front handle for greater manoeuvrability and user comfort. Vibration in this model is also exceptionally low compared to petrol powered machines.

The 610mm double reciprocating, precision cut blades make light work of trimming and cutting. They give a cleaner cut, regardless of the angle, and are self-sharpening due to the action of the double-sided cutting teeth. Anti-jam technology also ensures continuous cutting. The extended reach of the blades reduces user effort and the need for frequent repositioning, which means greater productivity for the operator.

The ECHO HT-58V2AH hedgetrimmer is part of the new 58V range which also comprises a lawnmower, chainsaw, power blower and trimmer, with two battery types: 2Ah or 4Ah for greater run time. The hedgetrimmer uses an interchangeable Lithium-ion battery system which enables one battery to fit multiple tools.

ECHO's New 58V Hedgetrimmer

ECHO offers a one-year professional use or two-year domestic warranty on the hedgetrimmer which shows they are extremely confident in their machines. This confidence extends to the batteries themselves which have two-year warranty. ECHO’s New 58V Battery Chainsaw

ECHO’s New 58V Battery Chainsaw: ECHO has launched an all-new 58V battery chainsaw to their growing range of lithium ion outdoor power equipment. The CS-58V4AH has the cutting performance of its petrol counterparts, with the additional benefits of battery power.  Low noise and low vibration are immediately evident in this effortless yet powerful product. It makes little noise when running, while the lack of vibration compared to a petrol model greatly reduces stress and fatigue for the user. What also makes a real difference to the working environment is the fact that with battery power you have no emissions, no fuel filling with two-stroke and there is no need to store petrol.

The CS-58V4AH is easy to use. With battery power you just charge up and go! The chainsaw uses a 4Ah battery which gives you plenty of run time for logging and felling small trees, and the quick charger will have it rapidly charged to reduce downtime. The lithium ion battery also fits other 58V battery products in the range so you can run a trimmer, hedge trimmer, lawn mower and power blower using the same battery. Additional batteries can be purchased as a back-up for when you need to get on with bigger jobs without interruption.

There is easy side access to the chain tensioner to allow quick chain adjustment, and the oil tank is translucent for easy level checks. The power comes from the long-lasting brushless motor which requires minimal maintenance due to non-wearing parts, which means you save on servicing costs as well as petrol bills.

For the home owner and semi-professional it’s hard to see why you wouldn’t choose the benefits of the CS-58V4AH. The chainsaw comes with a two-year domestic or one-year professional warranty and the 58V battery carries a two-year warranty for added peace of mind.

ECHO’s New 58V Range

ECHO’s New 58V Range: Battery power for garden and groundcare tools has now been around for some time. However, it’s only since the advent of powerful lithium-ion batteries that electric power could really compete against petrol two-stroke. Now, a new generation of lithium-ion products has arrived and ECHO outdoor power tools are at the forefront with their new range of 58 Volt battery products. This product range includes a battery hedgetrimmer, trimmer, lawn mower, power blower and chainsaw for semi-professional and domestic use.

When you consider the benefits of electric power, it’s easy to see why it has grown so quickly since lithium-ion batteries became commercial. The obvious features are batteries that produce the same power as petrol engined tools, with no exhaust emissions and without the need to store petrol and mix two-stroke. No effort is required to get started. You just charge and go, cutting, trimming, blowing leaves and mowing with virtually no noise or vibration.

ECHO's New 58V Range

Today’s 58V batteries are designed to give you more than enough power in constant use to carry out most tasks. The ECHO interchangeable battery system is available with two options, 2Ah and 4Ah. The hedgetrimmer, trimmer and power blower come with a standard 2Ah battery but if you’re looking for a longer run time you have the option of a 4Ah battery, and remember, you only need the one. Recharging is fast with the Quick Charger, ensuring 30 minutes charging time for the 2Ah and 60 minutes for the 4Ah, and you can always buy a spare battery as a back-up if required. Buy the chainsaw or mower and they come with a 4Ah battery as standard, so you would have the benefit of the extra run time for other products you might need.

ECHO battery products are built to the same professional standards as all their products, so they are solid, durable and ergonomic. As there are no moving parts no engine servicing is required, which means there is another cost saving in addition to no longer needing to buy petrol. ECHO 58V lithium-ion battery products come with a two-year domestic or one-year professional warranty and there is a two-year warranty on the batteries.
