Taylor began his career at Gillingham Golf Club where he qualified as a greenkeeper. “It was obviously a tough decision to close my business, but the chance to return to my roots in golf and to work with a brand that I truly believe in was too good an opportunity to miss,” said Taylor upon the announcement of his appointment. “With a superb range of bunker edge technology, bunker liners, lake edging and now LOKSAND, EcoBunker is growing at pace. I’m delighted to be part of the team and look forward to helping drive the business forward to the next level.”

Taylor’s role will see him manage customer relationships, ranging from project consultations and quotations, to supervising installations and ensuring quality and longevity of installations. Wherever a customer needs input from EcoBunker, Taylor will manage relationships so that customers have quick access to the answers they need.

“We have a superb product and our installations are second to none, but we needed someone with a detailed technical knowledge and a fantastic talent for customer service to strengthen the team and manage a rapidly increasing number of leads and enquiries,” commented CEO Richard Allen. “Having worked closely with Charlie on several projects, we were absolutely thrilled that he wanted to join us. He has the perfect blend of skills for the role and we can’t wait to see the service he delivers for our customers and the impact that he has on the business.”

Taylor has been in position since the end of January, where he helped introduce EcoBunker’s latest innovation – pre-cut synthetic tiles – alongside the first showing of LOKSAND to the U.K. market. For more information on working with EcoBunker or to arrange a visit to your venue, please contact charlie.taylor@ecobunker.co.uk or visit www.ecobunker.co.uk

phs Greenleaf has been providing expert planting and grounds maintenance services to businesses for over 25 years, including indoor and outdoor plants, artificial and live planting, living walls, hanging baskets, grounds maintenance and Christmas trees and decorations.

Siobhan has been in the landscaping business for 26 years and specialises in vertical greenery and living walls and pictures.

Debby is a qualified interior designer and ran her own office design business in South Africa for eight years before moving to the UK.

Speaking about phs Greenleaf, Siobhan said: “The commercial landscaping market can feel crowded but phs Greenleaf stands out. We take a vibrant and modern approach and have a reputation for our continuity of service and cost-effective solutions. We have the best talent in the market, and we have the power and robustness of the phs Group and Bidvest behind us.

“I’m looking forward to working with more businesses, particularly FMs, to help transform their commercial spaces with innovative and creative planting solutions that really work for them.”

Debby said: “The scope of work at Greenleaf is a really exciting opportunity. We work with the hospitality sector, retail, public buildings, leisure venues, commercial premises and more, and each design reflects that business’ needs.

“My passion is biophilia – bringing that innate connection to nature to life in a commercial space. People now understand the importance and the benefits that plants bring to our health and well-being and are embracing the concept of biophilia in their designs.

He brings with him the perfect blend of experience. He’s got practical experience from working in a turfcare role: 21 years in total as First Assistant Greenkeeper at Evesham Golf Club, Deputy Head Greenkeeper at Blackwell Golf Club and Course Manager at Henley Golf Club giving him awareness of the realities of the job, a detailed understanding of the industry and a passion for turf management.

Adam explains: “I can speak from experience when it comes to helping new and existing customers with the irrigation issues they face. I will be able to help problem solve and find solutions. Whether it is the pressures of the weather, budget issues, technical problems, or additional support, the chances are I faced the same, or a similar, situation.”

Robert Jackson, Reesink Hydro-Scapes Division Manager, says: “We understand the water business is specialist and the products require specific training to get the best out of them. We were waiting for the right person to demonstrate the qualities required to understand the customer’s requirements on a practical level and provide the necessary help and support, as well as develop and retain relationships with existing and new customers. Adam, with his expertise and industry insight, is that person.”

And if all that wasn’t enough Adam is a keen golfer so knows what constitutes to good playing conditions in real life – he has a handicap of four! So, whether you’re diving into the world of sprinkler systems for the first time or navigating water management software, Adam is available for a chat to help make the right decisions regarding water requirements such as precision control and reliability.

“The time is certainly now for everyone in the golf course industry to be evaluating their water usage and supply against the backdrop of the changes in weather and the strain on older systems,” Adam concludes. “I’m really excited about the prospect of starting customers on their journey towards water sustainability and best practise and being there every step of the way.”
