The new Can-Am Outlander BASE PRO HD5 T is a work-ready vehicle that provides the user with consistent performance with the help of its class-leading power from the all-new Rotax engine, ground clearance, suspension travel, towing and rack capacity.

The new Can-Am Outlander PRO XU HD7 ABS puts out 50 horsepower and 41 ft-lb of torque, so travelling up the side of hills or towing and carrying cargo on the flat is now easier and more efficient.

To complement the ATVs on display will be Can-Am’s SSV line-up, which includes the Can-Am Traxter HD7 and the Can-Am Traxter 6×6 DPS HD10.

The Can-Am Traxter HD7 provide users with consistent performance and has the ability to stay out in the field for longer with the help of its  40-litre fuel tank.

The Can-Am Traxter 6×6 DPS HD10 is a workhorse SSV that handles everything from hauling machinery to transporting workers and equipment to job sites while providing owners with the comfort, power and performance that is expected from a Can-Am Traxter.

In addition to showcasing its ATVs and SSVs, Can-Am will be hosting a responsible rider panel with the NFU, Yellow Wellies, NAAC and HSE at 11am on stand 6.850. The discussion will cover several topics ranging from training to educating users, no matter their age, on the importance of wearing the correct PPE when riding and what best practices can be implemented before, during and after an ATV has been used.

Rachael Turner, BRP commercial manager UK and Ireland, says, “This show is one that our team circles in the calendar because it brings together a wide-ranging audience under one roof, from students studying at college to smallholders, to large landowners. We are excited for the UK show debut of our new ATVs, the Can-Am Outlander 500 and Can-Am Outlander 700. These two models are the latest evolution of the Outlander line-up and have been designed from the ground up with the user in mind.  Our team is looking forward to showcasing the models on display and explaining how their versatility makes them suitable for the job at hand. In addition, we are excited to be part of the panel with the NFU, Yellow Wellies, NAAC and HSE as it is a great platform from which to discuss the importance of responsible riding, ATV training and best practices when using an ATV with an engaged audience.”

No job impossible for Can-Am Traxter

No job impossible for Can-Am Traxter: BRP is expanding its Can-Am off-road side by side vehicle (SSV) line-up with the addition of the new Can-Am Traxter 6×6 DPS HD10. This new unit delivers the functionality of a six-wheel drive vehicle to a workhorse SSV and will present new job opportunities in multiple sectors including farming, estate management, and facilities maintenance.

This combination ensures the Traxter 6×6 DPS HD10 can handle everything from hauling machinery to transporting workers and equipment to job sites, while providing owners with the comfort, power and performance that is expected from a Can-Am Traxter.

The new SSV enhances the comfort and control of the original Can-Am Traxter with the help of its longer wheelbase and triple axel design, which spreads the weight of the vehicle so that it treads carefully across multiple terrains. This ability is complemented by the performance of the 82hp V-twin liquid cooled engine from Rotax® and ensures that no destination is out of reach.

The Can-Am Traxter 6×6 DPS HD10 also provides owners with class leading towing, payload and cargo capacity that come in at 1,360kg, 771kg and 454kg respectively. These capacities are aided by the extended cargo box, which allows it to carry more goods and equipment. The integrated design elements include the LinQ quick-attach system, built-in anchors, tie-down points and recesses for easy box separator solutions, which make it easy to customise the vehicle for the job at hand.

In addition, its 40-litre fuel tank makes it a work-ready vehicle that can spend hours performing without the need to come in to refuel.

When it comes to the interior, the SSV’s roomy and intuitive cockpit has been designed by Can-Am’s R&D team with functionality and comfort in mind. This is highlighted by the cab pillars being pushed forward, an open-dash configuration, and a truck-inspired VERSA-PRO bench seat that accommodates up to three adults and flips up for additional space in the cab.

James Dalke, BRP commercial manager UK and Ireland, says, “The Can-Am Traxter 6×6 DPS HD10 has been designed to be used across multiple industries and terrains, which means it will never be out of work. In addition, we believe this SSV will instantly improve job productivity and efficiency through its ability to carry and tow more and access hard to reach areas that other SSVs might not be able to reach. It is also the next logical addition to our innovative utility SSV line-up and we look forward to it helping open up new sales opportunities for our growing dealer network, which, in turn, will help us grow our share of the utility market.”

The Can-Am Traxter HD9 offers class-leading power and low-end torque through the new Rotax HD9 engine, so travelling up the side of hills or towing and carrying cargo on the flat is now easier and more efficient.

The other vehicles on show are made up of Can-Am’s most popular models. The price competitive Can-Am Outlander 450 is built with class-leading performance, no matter the rigours of any situation put in front of it. The Can-Am Outlander 570 XU combines controlled handling, power and performance, enabling the user to travel across multiple terrains with ease and efficiently tow and carry cargo.

A selection of Can-Am Traxter SSVs, built to take on the toughest jobs quickly, easily, efficiently and safely, will also be present on the stand.

To support the vehicles, the Can-Am off-road team will be on hand to highlight its exclusive partnership with the NFU; to communicate the importance of ATV and SSV security and the benefits of Can-Am’s Digitally Encoded Security System (D.E.S.S.) Key, which restricts access to the bike’s electronic ignition system; to highlight its responsible rider programme; and promote its road legal vehicle line-up, and the exclusive finance offer run by Société Générale.

James Dalke, BRP commercial manager UK and Ireland, says, “We are excited to physically be back at LAMMA to showcase the latest additions to our growing off-road line-up to an engaged and interested audience who use ATVs and SSVs on a daily basis. Over the last two years, the line-up has continued to evolve with the help of the BRP R&D team, who have been working tirelessly to meet the constantly changing demands of the UK utility market. This is highlighted by the new Can-Am Traxter HD7 and Can-Am Traxter HD9 models and we believe that they will provide utility users with class leading performance, power and versatility, so that jobs are completed quickly, easily, efficiently and safely. In addition, we also see this show as a great platform from which to promote and highlight the importance of rider safety to visitors and as part of this we will be hosting the Farm Safety Foundation on our stand.”
