Back to school with Corvus Off-Road Vehicles: Several UK Corvus dealers were back at school for a week in November on the first-ever BOSS ORV technical training course at the Corvus factory in Murcia, Spain. Corvus, Europe’s first 4×4 utility vehicle manufacturer, was commended for the effort put into the organisation of the event, which was led by Gabriel Motos and José Fernández Blázquez.

The course covered a full factory tour and classes on the latest Corvus Terrain Diesel DX machines, described by Boss as following the line of its predecessors, but with improved aspects that make it definitely superior. The range comprises five models, or variations, and the course covered all aspects. There was also specialised training on the new fully electric Corvus EX4, which the company defines as an all-electric 4×4 utility vehicle with lower maintenance cost coupled with great robustness and durability.

The factory visit and course is the first of a series and Phil Everett, the BOSS ORV Managing Director, praised the dealers attending for engaging in the training and helping to develop the courses for future attendees. First SALTEX for Boss ORV and Corvus: BOSS ORV, the UK distributor of the Corvus range of off-road utility vehicles, is to exhibit at Saltex 2023. It is the first time at the show for BOSS and they will also be showing the new Faunamaster seeder for which they were recently appointed for sole UK distribution.

The Corvus models on display will be two of the Terrain range 4×4 UTVs, the DX4 and EX4. Corvus is Europe’s first manufacturer of off-road UTVs and designed the DX4 from the ground up for heavy-duty work in agriculture, livestock, forestry, turf care and construction. The DX4 is described as powerful and robust, with an efficient Yanmar 24 hp diesel engine and market-leading onboard storage capacity. The Corvus Terrain EX4 is a 100% electric 4×4 utility vehicle, with all the benefits of no emissions. It can tackle the toughest working days thanks to its off-road capabilities and precise power. The EX4 offers high load capacity, lower maintenance cost and high vehicle durability. The Faunamaster seeders come from the Danish company Faunamaster ApS.

They are multifunctional, timesaving seed drills designed for use with an ATV, UTV or tractor. Corvus on the south coast: Boss ORV have announced they now have coverage in Sussex for Corvus Off-Road Vehicles. They have a new partnership with Chichester Farm Machinery. Located on the outskirts of Chichester in West Sussex they specialise in all types of farm and garden machinery sales and maintenance.

They cover a large range of services from lawn mower repair and garden machinery servicing to quad bike maintenance and tractor servicing. Representing major agricultural brands with sales and service, Chichester Farm Machinery won the Avant Dealer of the Year Award 2022. The award also recognised the company’s aftercare, parts and product knowledge.

Corvus’ growing dealer network: It is another month that has seen the Corvus Off-Road Vehicles dealer network grow again. UK distributor BOSS ORV has announced both agricultural and groundcare machinery dealers as new additions to the team.

Corvus coverage in Dorset will now be provided by Redlynch Agricultural Engineering Limited, the business founded from humble roots by Nicholas Heal in 1980. Building on a passion and success in buying and selling secondhand machinery, Redlynch has grown to span three counties in the southwest and has become one of the leading agricultural dealerships in the UK.

Baggleys has been providing a service to the Norfolk community for many years, regarding offering a service to maintain machinery as being just as important as sales. They operate a fully equipped workshop which includes staff who have gained their MST Master Service Technicians award.

Two new Corvus UTV dealers announced: BOSS ORV continues to grow their UK dealer network with the announcement of two new Corvus Off-Road Vehicle dealers. The latest dealer in the South-West is I J Jones Engineering Ltd. Based near the south-west coastline between the towns of Totness, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth.

“Ian Jones will provide Corvus Off-Road-Vehicles’ coverage for BOSS ORV across South Devon,” says BOSS ORV MD Phil Everett. “It’s a big welcome to the Corvus family for Ian, Lexi and the team in Blackawton.”
