North and south for Corvus 4×4

North and south for Corvus 4×4: The dealer network for Corvus Terrain 4×4 utility vehicles has expanded further with the appointment of B&B Tractors and Kirkland UK. BOSS off-road vehicles, the sole UK distributor for Corvus, made the announcement saying the two dealerships are a natural fit in their drive to establish a seamless network of specialist dealers throughout the UK.

B& B Tractors is a family owned and managed business with four depots covering Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Warwickshire. The business has rapidly expanded since being established in 1991 when Massey Ferguson approached Bowring Transport owners Chris and David Boring about taking on the franchise, originally to cover the Nottingham area and parts of North Derbyshire. Since then, they have grown to represent a wide range of industry leading names, with rapid expansion into the territories they cover today. The Head Office at the Warsop site alone has grown to 30 acres with 150 employees.

“We wanted to work with B&B Tractors because of their delivery of the highest levels of customer care to their agricultural, municipal and industrial customers,” says Phil Everett, BOSS ORV’s Managing Director. “Not only can they represent the Corvus Terrain range to those sectors, they can also provide the highest levels of service and support that go hand in hand with being Corvus dealers, as they have shown with the other brands offered by the business.”

The story for Kirkland UK began in the late 1800s when partner Scott Worsley’s great, great, great grandfather set up Worsley Carriage Builders in Kent, building carriages for farming, fruit growing and vineyards. The Kirkland brand began in 2005 as a range of specialist machinery, becoming a company in its own right and growing to become one of the country’s leading suppliers of specialist equipment for vineyard and fruit orchard management. With the appointment as Corvus dealers, Scott is excited to bring the brand to the South-East.

“We found CORVUS UTV’s to be the perfect addition to our range of machinery solutions for our customers. These popular UTV’s are ideal 4×4 vehicles thanks to their powerful, robust design with generous storage and load capacity making them high performers in any weather condition, which is exactly what the South-East needs!”

Phil Everett says, “we had been looking for a partner for Corvus in the South East of England and after talking to Scott for five minutes, it was obvious that Kirkland UK would be a natural fit with us. We share the same passion for success and rapid growth and an impatience to achieve. They are an extremely customer focused organisation and hungry to grow the business and explore diverse opportunities to achieve this. Together with their already very well established customer base in the region it was a very easy decision to partner with them for this area.”

Moving into the next adjacent counties, John Day Engineering of Lambourne, the third new appointment, has since 1985 steadily built a customer base through Wiltshire, Hampshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Phil says:

“We welcome John Day Engineering, who over the years have built a loyal customer base through exceptional customer service. We know they will make an ideal partner for Corvus, with their first-rate reputation for after sales service and support for all types of farm machinery and plant. Corvus partners Chandlers

Corvus partners Chandlers: BOSS ORV has announced the latest additions to the Corvus 4 x4 dealer network. The first of these is Chandlers Farm Equipment, which originates from an ironmonger’s shop in Grantham owned by Desmond Chandler.

Branching into farm machinery and a wide range of brown and white goods in the 1940s, their slogan was ‘We sell everything from a tin tack to a tractor’. As a fully diversified business today, Chandlers is one of the largest agricultural dealerships in the UK. They will cover the East Midlands and eastern England regions for Corvus from their branches at Belton, Shefford, Horncastle, Spilsby, Holbeach, Barnack and Southam. Each branch will have their own demo unit Corvus Terrain 4×4 Utility Vehicle, providing sales and full service and support.

The second announcement is the appointment of the first Corvus dealer in Wales, DG Thomas Agri.

“Based in North Wales they are exactly the type of partner we have been looking for, with their strength and priority in providing the best possible service,” says Phil.

The company was established in 1975 by Dewi Thomas and has been supplying tractors and machinery in Meirionydd and beyond over the intervening years with a pride in their service and support. The vast technical expertise of Will Ellis, DG Thomas’s Managing Director, has been developed over many years at a high level and internationally in the agricultural machinery industry.

“With D G Thomas, we can finally offer the Corvus outlet we have been looking for in this region, and so it is another big welcome to Will and his team,” says Phil.

Two new dealers for Corvus 4×4

Two new dealers for Corvus 4×4: Corvus 4×4 off-road utility vehicle specialists BOSS ORV have announced the appointment of two new dealers. Laird Grass Machinery has become the first Corvus dealer for Northern Ireland and Brassington Agri, near Bridgenorth, is the new dealer for the Shropshire area.

Laird, which is situated in Ballycarry, Carrickfergus, contacted Corvus following a conversation with Scottish dealers, Ravenhill, and were sent a Terrain Diesel 4×4 utility as a trial vehicle. No sooner had it arrived than a customer wanted to buy it. Laird chose the Terrain for being rugged and well-built for agricultural use with good ground clearance. It also benefits from being classed as a Stage V emission compliant homologated Diesel tractor, and therefore suitable for on-road use. It is ideally suited as well, say Laird, to their public authorities and council market. Phil Everett, Managing Director at Boss, who made the announcement on LinkedIn, said,

“A big Corvus welcome to David Laird and the team. With their vast experience in the UTV market, combined with the exceptional all-round ability of the latest Corvus Terrain range of UTVs, it’s bound to be a winning combination.”

Duncan Brassington Agri Sales and Service was established in 2014 in the heart of Shropshire by Duncan Brassington, who has over thirty years’ experience of all aspects of agricultural machinery. Brassingtons provide servicing and repair for tractors and agricultural machinery together with sales of new and good quality tractors, farm machinery and equipment. They will be selling and supporting the TerrainDX4 EPS, TerrainDX4 PRO EPS and TerrainDX4 CAB EPS.

“A big welcome to Duncan and the team,” says Phil, “they base their business on 100% commitment to their customers’ needs and are therefore an ideal fit as a Corvus dealer. Welcome to both dealers to the Corvus family”

All the above mentioned Terrain models are homologated as a T1a and T1b diesel tractor and have a top speed of 40mph/65kp/h. Corvus is building the Terrain for work primarily in agriculture, livestock, forestry, turf care and construction but they are highly adaptable vehicles ready for any demanding off-road workout.
