ECHO’s new low emission chainsaw

ECHO’s new low emission chainsaw: ECHO has launched the CS-621SX heavy-duty rear handle chainsaw. The new saw is a reduced emissions version of their best-selling CS-620SX, yet it retains all the power and dependability of its predecessor.

This is a chainsaw built for arborists and landscaping professionals who use this type of saw daily for felling large trees.

ECHO’s new low emission chainsaw

The CS-621SX boasts a new 59.8cc low emission, professional-grade 2-stroke ECHO engine, designed and manufactured in Japan. It is the latest chainsaw in the ECHO X-series of ‘Best in Class’ products which aim to be industry-leading in terms of power and performance. The saw is packed with advanced features to help the commercial operator power through their work. For a heavy-duty saw, it is surprisingly lightweight at only 6.3kg (dry weight) but that doesn’t take anything away from its cutting performance, which exceeds that of many higher capacity machines.  Its balance and ergonomic design offer manoeuvrability and precision, with dual bumper spikes enabling better control when sawing through stumps and thicker branches.

The CS-621SX is a superior saw in every respect, say ECHO, with its range of additional features designed to make the working day easier and more productive. There’s a decompression button for easy starting, a side-access chain tensioner and drop prevention nuts which can’t be lost during maintenance. A rotating plastic chain catcher is designed to help protect the user from potential injury while also preventing chain damage.   The heavy-duty aluminum handle has a secure rubber grip and reduces vibration in the hand. Fuel and oil caps are made larger for easier filling and the fuel tank is translucent to show the fuel level. The ‘G-FORCE’ air cleaner system features a large air filter to keep out debris.

It all adds up to a powerful, durable and heavy-duty chainsaw built to ECHO’s usual exacting specifications, which is borne out by a two-year professional or five-year domestic warranty. You can find out more from your local authorised ECHO dealer.

ECHO’s most powerful handheld blower

ECHO’s most powerful handheld blower: ECHO have introduced their most powerful handheld power blower to date. The PB-2620 is part of the ECHO X Series of best-in-class products, designed to be industry-leading in terms of power and performance.

Featuring a 25.4cc two-stroke engine with an output of 0.91kW and producing a maximum airspeed of 80.5m/sec when using the flat nozzle, the PB-2620 is, say ECHO, the most powerful handheld blower in its class. More than enough for clearing wet leaves and heavier debris. The premium-grade ECHO engine and dry weight of 4.4kg combine to give an excellent power to weight ratio.

Along with the power comes precision and comfort in the way the blower is designed. A secondary handle improves manoeuvrability and the ergonomically grouped controls, including a throttle with ‘cruise control’, are easy to reach. The throttle can be locked at a variety of settings for ease of use and added operator comfort. The overall design reduces the gyro effect on the wrist, adding another factor in lessening operator fatigue.

This is a power blower designed for professionals who need to be able to rely on their tools day in, day out and achieve maximum productivity. To ensure this, all X Series products are tested in the most extreme conditions, say ECHO, and the PB-2620 is packed with the most advanced features. The rubber grip and counterweight are designed for increased comfort and reduced vibration. A tool-less air filter cover allows easy access for changing the air filter, making a further contribution to reduced downtime and increased productivity.

ECHO state their tools are hardworking, tough and dependable and they carry a two-year professional or five-year domestic warranty to support this. You can find out more from your local authorised ECHO dealer. You can also visit www.echo-tools.co.uk or call 01844 278800 for more information

ECHO’s resounding success at SALTEX: ECHO put on a real show at Saltex with their range of commercial products for groundscare and landscaping professionals.

ECHO’s resounding success at SALTEX

“We had  ECHO’s busiest ever Saltex over the two days this year,” says Matt Wilson, AriensCo UK Sales Manager, “with great interest in the X Series and 50v battery products we displayed. Visitors to the stand were knowledgeable and the sales leads were good quality.”

Power to weight ratio is where the emphasis lies in the ECHO CS-2511WES professional chainsaw, the lightest and most compact rear-handle chainsaw in the ECHO range. Handling it at the show, visitors were surprised at its light weight. At just 2.6kg (dry weight), it’s ideal for use over long periods without fatigue and yet, with its premium-grade ECHO two-stroke engine, it packs a powerful output of 1.1kW.

The ECHO PB-8010 backpack blower is built for professionals and offers industry-leading power and performance. The 79.9cc engine produces an air volume of  1818m3/h, an airspeed of 94.5m/sec (211mph) and a blowing force of 44N and yet it weighs just 11.2kg with its ergonomic, lightweight frame.

Also featured on the stand at Saltex were ECHO’s ground-breaking high torque brushcutters, with a 1:2 gear reduction ratio, delivering up to 50% more torque at the cutting head compared to previous models. ECHO offers a two-year professional warranty on their petrol and 50V battery tools.

ECHO’s new chainsaw top of the class: ECHO has developed a rear handle version of its highly successful CS-2511TES top handle chainsaw. The result, the CS-2511WES, is ‘an exceptional chainsaw which will suit professionals across all sectors,’ say ECHO. There’s even a version designed specifically for carvers.

ECHO’s new chainsaw top of the class

“Every ECHO product is designed around the needs of the end-user,” say ECHO, “the CS-2511WES is no exception.” It features a palm rest for precise control, a tool-less air filter cover to allow easy access to the air filter, even when wearing gloves, and tool-less access to fuel and oil tanks. There’s a side access chain tensioner for easy chain adjustment and an anti-icing system to prevent the carburettor from freezing in colder months. Easy Start, ECHO’s patented system, ensures effortless starting, while the oiler adjustment on the top of the chainsaw gives the operator control of the oil flow for optimum operation.

Designed and manufactured in Japan, the CS-2511WES is powered by a 25.0cc professional-grade, Stage 2 low emissions compliant ECHO engine. It comes with a 0.050” gauge, 30cm (12”) cutting bar. ECHO’s New 58V Hedgetrimmer

ECHO’s New 58V Hedgetrimmer: ECHO’s new HT-58V2AH offers petrol performance from a battery powered hedgetrimmer. The 58V hedgetrimmer has the same professional build quality as ECHO’s petrol models and is both powerful and tough. The power the Lithium-ion battery powered motor produces is equal to a petrol model’s output.  No effort is required to get started. There’s no mixing of two-stroke, filling a power tool’s tank or storing fuel. It’s just a matter of charge and go! Low noise, no emissions at the point of use and low vibration make this hedgetrimmer ideal for working in areas such as schools and nursing homes, parks, nature reserves and organic gardens.

The hedgetrimmer is lightweight and yet boasts enough power to tackle tough hedge cutting jobs. There’s a run time of 90 minutes and it comes with a quick charger to help reduce down time. The standard 2Ah battery is fully charged in just thirty minutes. The battery powers a robust, brushless electric motor that promises to be long lasting and maintenance-free because only non-wearing parts are used.

ECHO's New 58V Hedgetrimmer

ECHO’s awareness of how their products will be used is reflected in the hedgetrimmer’s design, with its ergonomic front handle for greater manoeuvrability and user comfort. Vibration in this model is also exceptionally low compared to petrol powered machines.

The 610mm double reciprocating, precision cut blades make light work of trimming and cutting. They give a cleaner cut, regardless of the angle, and are self-sharpening due to the action of the double-sided cutting teeth. Anti-jam technology also ensures continuous cutting. The extended reach of the blades reduces user effort and the need for frequent repositioning, which means greater productivity for the operator.

The ECHO HT-58V2AH hedgetrimmer is part of the new 58V range which also comprises a lawnmower, chainsaw, power blower and trimmer, with two battery types: 2Ah or 4Ah for greater run time. The hedgetrimmer uses an interchangeable Lithium-ion battery system which enables one battery to fit multiple tools.

ECHO's New 58V Hedgetrimmer

ECHO offers a one-year professional use or two-year domestic warranty on the hedgetrimmer which shows they are extremely confident in their machines. This confidence extends to the batteries themselves which have two-year warranty.
