Featuring four nozzles, a stainless-steel wand and a double filtration system, the backpack sprayer provides the versatility to tackle a wide range of jobs. Clog-free performance within the nozzles and heavy-duty rubber hose ensures long-lasting performance, while a translucent tank maximises ease of use.

As well as this, the durable harness is designed for comfortable operation, while the lance handle allows users to intuitively control the spray, ensuring efficient coverage and reduced fatigue during extended work sessions.

Andrew Frohock, Product Manager for EGO, said: “We are proud to have built a reputation for delivering high-performance battery-powered gardening equipment, so our first backpack sprayer feels like a natural addition to our range and we’re proud to be launching it in 2025.

“We are always thinking of how we can use our battery technology to further aid customers with their work, and with this product, they can expect to find the same level of power, comfort and durability that they experience with our landscaping tools.”

Powered by EGO’s 56V ARC LithiumTM battery technology and a brushless motor, the BSP3500E works with any portable battery from the EGO range, the 5.0Ah battery is particularly recommended as it delivers up to 120 minutes of use. To protect the battery when in use, the tool has an integrated cover ensuring moisture cannot reach it.

EGO launches first robotic mowers

EGO launches first robotic mowers: EGO Power+ is adding not one, but two robotic lawnmowers to its portfolio of battery-powered outdoor power equipment.

EGO’s first robotic tools, the RM4000E and the RM2000E can automate mowing for lawns up to 4000m2 and 2000m2 respectively, meaning users can now sit back and let the mower do the leg work.

Andrew Frohock, IoT Product Manager for EGO comments: “Re-defining the way that our customers can care for their lawns, our GPS-supported boundary wire robotic mowers use three pivoting blades to deliver a 24cm cutting width, combined with some innovative mowing features, they offer outstanding cutting performance.”

The EGO robotic mowers are part of a select few boundary wire machines on the market to provide systematic mowing, which delivers a more efficient working practice. The systematic mowing feature enables the mower to cut grass systematically in parallel tracks, providing the most efficient coverage, especially in complex lawn layouts. Likewise, the smart GPS navigation promotes even coverage and reduces wear on the lawn around the charging station. RM2000E and RM4000E are capable of navigating gradients of up to 50%, in challenging and complex spaces.

Users benefit from a choice of simple control settings, with the schedule and mowing settings of both mowers easily adjusted by an intuitive 3.5-inch colour touchscreen display. Also fully connected, the mowers can also be optimised for remote control using the EGO Connect App. Adding the mower to the app offers full live status visibility of the mower via a cellular data connection – meaning the mower is always accessible, wherever you are in the world.

Andrew continues: “By using the EGO Connect app, users can see a map of their lawn, the mower’s live location and details of what areas have been covered so far. And for enhanced usability, the remote-control function in the app enables users to tell the robot mower to drive, park, pause or schedule its work time. Other features, such as changing the LED colour, weather features and software updates enable users to customise their mower and keep it up to date.”

The robot mowers also incorporate advanced sensing and monitoring capabilities, rain, lift and tilt sensors to protect the user, lawn and machine during operation; and GPS tracking to provide advanced warning and traceability in the event of theft.

The RM4000E retails at £2099 and the RM2000E retails at £1699.

EGO launches largest mower yet

EGO launches largest mower yet: EGO Power+, a leading specialist of battery-powered outdoor power equipment, has developed its largest mower yet. As the first mower in its portfolio to feature a super composite deck, the LM2236E-SP 55cm mower kit is an exciting new entry to the market.

Strong yet lightweight, this flagship residential mower has a large 55cm cutting capacity and is the first of EGO’s mowers to boast a super composite cutting deck which is notably lighter in weight compared to aluminium or steel decks and is more robust, offering improved longevity.

Ideal for gardening enthusiasts of all strengths, while this may be a beast of a mower, it has been designed with simplicity in mind. Featuring a push button start, users can simply push the handle and the mower will self-propel forward, while the addition of a variable cutting speed helps make for an even more effortless mowing experience.

For further ease, grass-cutting height can be adjusted easily via the 8-position spring loaded adjustment (between 25 to 100mm), and the SELECT CUT interchangeable multi-blade cutting system allows users to alternate incrementally between mulching or grass collection with a single lever.

Users can also choose a side discharge accessory to quickly disperse of grass cuttings. Additionally, the kit also comes complete with a 10.0Ah battery which can cut up to 2000sqm on a single charge.

For added convenience, the aluminium telescopic handle boasts a quick-release lever enabling easy access to the collection bag, while the powerful LED lights also make the mower suitable for applications in low-light environments.

Joerg Bauerle, Product Manager for EGO, said: “We are delighted to introduce the 55cm mower to our portfolio. Not only is it more durable, but it is also stronger and lighter in weight compared to other mowers on the market due to the introduction of a super composite deck.

“It is ideal for residential users as the mower will self-propel forwards with minimal effort required, and it is easily controlled via the cockpit, which provides live status updates of the mower. We have found that there is also traction with professional users due to it being much lighter in weight compared to aluminium or steel decks.”

The LM2236E-SP 55cm mower kit retails at £1199, including a 10.0Ah battery and rapid charger.

EGO drills down on earth and ice

EGO drills down on earth and ice: EGO Power+, a leading specialist of battery-powered outdoor power equipment, is turning heads with the release of its first Auger Power Head.

A crucial piece of equipment for landscaping, earthmoving, groundworks, agriculture, fencing and utilities installation, the new PHA7400E Auger Power Head is joining EGO’s range of battery-powered outdoor tools, expanding the options for existing EGO customers looking for new ways to use their batteries.

The Auger Power Head is compatible with EGO’s ETA0800E 20cm Earth Auger Bit and the ITA0800E 20cm Ice Auger Bit. These enable the Auger to be used for drilling fence posts, planting trees or bushes and drilling large holes into the ground or ice with ease.

While petrol-powered Augers have dominated in the past, the PHA7400E is one of the first battery-powered Augers to join the market. It has already proven popular with new build developers, as EGO’s industry-leading 56V ARC LithiumTM batteries are a cleaner, more convenient option to petrol. The tool is also lighter in weight and more durable than petrol alternatives, which can be heavy and require more maintenance.

EGO’s Auger provides effortless drilling as users can enjoy tailored control with two-speed settings, a variable speed trigger and a reverse function, all of which make for simple operating. It is also very easy to switch between bits.

For enhanced comfort and user safety, the tool’s handles have been designed ergonomically while the anti-kickback system reduces the risk of injury. The tool also offers great balance, high strength, and reliability while the powerful 74Nm of torque makes light work of drilling through both soil and ice.

Both available bits are 20cm in length and feature a 22mm connection for quick, easy, and secure fitting, as well as an anti-corrosion powder coat finish.

The PHA7400E Auger Power Head retails at £309 and the Earth and Ice Bits retail separately at £99 and £119 respectively.
