Husqvarna partners with Relox Robotics to expand golf solutions: Husqvarna Group has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Relox Robotics to add an autonomous golf range ball picking solution to its portfolio across European markets.

Under the terms of the agreement, Husqvarna will become the sole distributor of Relox Robotics’ Range Picker™ across Europe. The autonomous solution is designed to operate fully unattended on golf driving ranges, supporting increased uptime, reduced manual handling and more efficient daily operations for range operators.

The Range Picker™ features autonomous navigation, self-charging, and automated ball dumping, enabling continuous ball collection without the need for manual intervention. Under the partnership, deployments are planned for Q1 2026, supporting early spring installations at selected driving ranges.

“Robotics is reshaping how golf facilities operate, from course maintenance to range management,” said Olle Markusson, Senior Director Robotics at Husqvarna Group. “By partnering with Relox Robotics, we are able to offer a proven autonomous ball picking solution that complements our market-leading robotic mowing platforms for golf courses and supports a more automated, efficient driving range environment.”

Automation is increasingly becoming a priority for driving range operators looking to improve productivity, reduce labour dependency, and enhance the customer experience. This partnership brings together Husqvarna’s long-standing expertise in robotic turf maintenance with Relox Robotics’ specialist knowledge in autonomous range operations, to deliver a comprehensive robotics ecosystem for driving ranges.

Husqvarna continues to expand its presence in professional golf across Europe and will provide robotic mowing solutions at the 2026 Husqvarna British Masters. This follows a successful deployment at last year’s AIG Women’s Open at Royal Porthcawl, where Husqvarna’s autonomous mowers maintained all 18 fairways during the tournament, marking the first time robotic mowers have maintained fairways live on the world golf stage.

First deliveries under the Husqvarna–Relox partnership are scheduled for Q1 2026 through Husqvarna’s network of professional partners across Europe. The autonomous Range Picker™ will have a recommended retail price of €39,500 (excluding VAT), subject to final confirmation.

After obtaining qualifications in land-based engineering, Richard worked for a number of leading manufacturers and turf care dealers – in both workshop and mobile service engineer roles. Most recently, he brought together his technical understanding and passion for the game of golf in the position of Head Mechanic/Workshop Manager at North Berwick Golf Club. On joining Baroness UK in January 2024, he brings both hands-on experience and a technical mind to the table as he oversees the sales, service and workshop operations of the established dealer network within his area.

“Before coming on board, I had started to see the Baroness brand more and more here in Scotland and my inner mechanic immediately took an interest in the machinery! I loved their approach and what their portfolio of machines offered to the market” he explains. “It is a huge honour and privilege to be entrusted as the first Baroness representative in Scotland and, after solidifying a number of relationships with those I saw at BTME in January, I look forward to exploring new opportunities and driving business forwards in the months and years ahead.”

Woods expand landscaping range

Woods expand landscaping range: Woods Equipment have added two new products to their expanding landscaping range, in the form of the Box Scraper and Landscape Rake.

Woods UK agent Simon Richard says, “both products are based on Woods durability and reliability. The landscape rakes offer a working width of 1.3m 1.5m 1.8m 2.1m and 2.4m, for tractors between 25hp and 45hp, for tough clean-up jobs, as well as fine raking for lawn care and general maintenance.

A box-type structural tine beam holds fully spring-loaded steel tines one-inch apart for superior material collection, while allowing soil or sand through for a smooth even grade. Adjustable angles and 360 degree pivot control the flow of material to left, right or centre while gauge wheels allow better depth control. A parking stand allows easy attachment to the tractor.

The reinforced steel A-frame, tough, reversible cutting edge and replaceable scarifiers mean the new Woods Box Scrapers can handle the toughest spreading and grading jobs. The BSM models have a 6.35 mm plate welded inside the end plates for extreme conditions and extra durability. High strength, double bevelled cutting edges allow full length, easy carve, into the sod and dirt and thick, high strength mouldboards deal with the most challenging jobs. Choose widths from 137cm to 213 cm to suit your requirements”
