Based in Essex, the OAS Turf Science & Technology Centre, employs its own R&D Manager and technicians, supported by the groups Agronomy and Technical Manager, to undertake in-house research, development and field trials to identify, assess and demonstrate the benefits of both existing and future products and technologies under UK conditions and practices. In addition to extensive trial plots, laboratory and glasshouses, a Rain Bird irrigation system is installed, a Davis weather station and below ground Soil Scout digital soil monitoring. Education will also be a key focus for the Centre, having extensive facilities for educational conferences and small group seminars. This exciting development places Origin Amenity Solutions at the head of the drive to meet the ‘challenge of change’ and its continuing drive for excellence across all aspects of the industry.
