The new Can-Am Outlander BASE PRO HD5 T is a work-ready vehicle that provides the user with consistent performance with the help of its class-leading power from the all-new Rotax engine, ground clearance, suspension travel, towing and rack capacity.

The new Can-Am Outlander PRO XU HD7 ABS puts out 50 horsepower and 41 ft-lb of torque, so travelling up the side of hills or towing and carrying cargo on the flat is now easier and more efficient.

To complement the ATVs on display will be Can-Am’s SSV line-up, which includes the Can-Am Traxter HD7 and the Can-Am Traxter 6×6 DPS HD10.

The Can-Am Traxter HD7 provide users with consistent performance and has the ability to stay out in the field for longer with the help of its  40-litre fuel tank.

The Can-Am Traxter 6×6 DPS HD10 is a workhorse SSV that handles everything from hauling machinery to transporting workers and equipment to job sites while providing owners with the comfort, power and performance that is expected from a Can-Am Traxter.

In addition to showcasing its ATVs and SSVs, Can-Am will be hosting a responsible rider panel with the NFU, Yellow Wellies, NAAC and HSE at 11am on stand 6.850. The discussion will cover several topics ranging from training to educating users, no matter their age, on the importance of wearing the correct PPE when riding and what best practices can be implemented before, during and after an ATV has been used.

Rachael Turner, BRP commercial manager UK and Ireland, says, “This show is one that our team circles in the calendar because it brings together a wide-ranging audience under one roof, from students studying at college to smallholders, to large landowners. We are excited for the UK show debut of our new ATVs, the Can-Am Outlander 500 and Can-Am Outlander 700. These two models are the latest evolution of the Outlander line-up and have been designed from the ground up with the user in mind.  Our team is looking forward to showcasing the models on display and explaining how their versatility makes them suitable for the job at hand. In addition, we are excited to be part of the panel with the NFU, Yellow Wellies, NAAC and HSE as it is a great platform from which to discuss the importance of responsible riding, ATV training and best practices when using an ATV with an engaged audience.”

BOSS breakthrough at LAMMA

BOSS breakthrough at LAMMA: BOSS ORV, the specialist vehicle distribution company, will show the Powerland Tachyon electric all-terrain vehicle for the first time at LAMMA. One of the fastest 4×4 electric ATVs in the world, the Tachyon offers all the benefits of conventional off-road utility vehicles while ensuring no damage to the environment.

The manufacturer says they have the aim of inspiring more companies to fundamentally change the way they operate for a more sustainable future. The Tachyon is now the complete fully electric (Li-ion) road legal ATV with tractor homologation. Direct drive hub motors help the vehicle achieve up to 50hp and 210nm of torque at each wheel. Without a motor gearbox transmission, humming is eliminated and less heat is generated. In-wheel motor technology also eliminates the need for numerous mechanical components, resulting in savings on maintenance costs. The hub motors with their regenerative braking technology help extend battery range and act as a better hill descent control while riding.

Can-Am off-road revolution drives into LAMMA

Can-Am off-road revolution drives into LAMMA: Focusing on power, performance and versatility, BRP is showcasing the new Can-Am Traxter HD7 and Can-Am Traxter HD9 at LAMMA 2022 in hall six stand 6.850. These SSVs highlight that Can-Am’s off-road line-up continues to prioritise the user, as they have been designed to handle the job demands of utility riders as well as the challenging conditions they face on a daily basis.

The Can-Am Traxter HD7 is a work ready vehicle that provides the user with consistent performance, no matter the terrain. With the help of the new HD7 Rotax engine, the vehicle has been optimised for off-road use and produces 37 per cent more power than the HD5 engine it has replaced.

The Can-Am Traxter HD9 offers class-leading power and low-end torque through the new Rotax HD9 engine, so travelling up the side of hills or towing and carrying cargo on the flat is now easier and more efficient.

The other vehicles on show are made up of Can-Am’s most popular models. The price competitive Can-Am Outlander 450 is built with class-leading performance, no matter the rigours of any situation put in front of it. The Can-Am Outlander 570 XU combines controlled handling, power and performance, enabling the user to travel across multiple terrains with ease and efficiently tow and carry cargo.

A selection of Can-Am Traxter SSVs, built to take on the toughest jobs quickly, easily, efficiently and safely, will also be present on the stand.

To support the vehicles, the Can-Am off-road team will be on hand to highlight its exclusive partnership with the NFU; to communicate the importance of ATV and SSV security and the benefits of Can-Am’s Digitally Encoded Security System (D.E.S.S.) Key, which restricts access to the bike’s electronic ignition system; to highlight its responsible rider programme; and promote its road legal vehicle line-up, and the exclusive finance offer run by Société Générale.

James Dalke, BRP commercial manager UK and Ireland, says, “We are excited to physically be back at LAMMA to showcase the latest additions to our growing off-road line-up to an engaged and interested audience who use ATVs and SSVs on a daily basis. Over the last two years, the line-up has continued to evolve with the help of the BRP R&D team, who have been working tirelessly to meet the constantly changing demands of the UK utility market. This is highlighted by the new Can-Am Traxter HD7 and Can-Am Traxter HD9 models and we believe that they will provide utility users with class leading performance, power and versatility, so that jobs are completed quickly, easily, efficiently and safely. In addition, we also see this show as a great platform from which to promote and highlight the importance of rider safety to visitors and as part of this we will be hosting the Farm Safety Foundation on our stand.”

TYM Compact At LAMMA

TYM Compact At LAMMA: Reesink Turfcare will be showcasing all that is new to TYM Tractors at LAMMA 2018. The new T393 compact tractor will be on show, as will a pick of the new range of attachments, all of which offer even more versatility and value to every tractor.

Bridging the gap from the compact utility range into the mid-duty range is the T393. With a 38hp Yanmar engine it’s powerful but compact, and more than capable of managing the small and large jobs. It has one of the highest lift capabilities in its class with a lift capacity of 1200kg and has one of the highest hydraulic flow rates with a maximum output of 42 litres per minute.

TYM Compact At LAMMA

There are two transmission options including a three range HST option which comes equipped with a new ‘Auto Throttle’ function, linking the HST pedals to the engine throttle to synchronise the tractor’s speed and engine rpm. This simplifies tractor operation and reduces fuel consumption.

Tractors are of course designed as implement carriers. Making use of attachments rather than bringing in additional machines for mowing, tilling and shredding saves space in the shed and is far more economical. New to TYM, and the show, is a range of attachments designed to bring even more value, versatility and productivity to the machine. At LAMMA there will be a finishing and flail mower attachment and two rotary tillers.

Completing the line-up are the stablemates: TS25, TE40, T433, T503, T654 and, finally, the T754, giving visitors to stand B118 a look at the smallest to the largest horsepower and plenty in between.

Steven Haynes, TYM sales manager, says: “Reesink Turfcare introduced the TYM brand to the UK six years ago and it’s been very well received by the market in that time. Brand development has been progressive and we’re now in the perfect position to enhance our focus on the opportunities for our dealers across the country.”

With the experienced Reesink Turfcare TYM team on stand, including new recruit John Addy who is the brand’s northern regional sales manager, to advise on everything from the most suitable machine for your specific jobs, to all the optional extras, it’s the stand that should be high on all visitors’ itineraries.

Extensive Display Of Polaris Models At LAMMA: Polaris has lined up a vast range of 2018 models for the LAMMA show. Starting with the world’s best selling Sportsman ATVs, there are not many to match the off-road abilities these Polaris machines have to offer. Take the Sportsman 570 EPS. It boasts 44hp, Electronic Power Steering (EPS) and Engine Braking System (EBS) to complement the class leading suspension, and true, on demand All-Wheel Drive. A long-time favourite on the farm, the Sportsman is thoroughly at home negotiating the toughest terrain while providing the rider with an ergonomic, all-round work horse.

If you want an ATV that will carry two people, the Sportsman X2 570 EPS is the ideal choice, offering the features of the single-seater with the addition of Polaris 4 wheel Active Descent Control (ADC) for safely traversing the steepest hills in all types of weather. It’s the ideal solution for getting two people who need to work together into and out of the most inaccessible areas and safely down the steepest inclines, with optimum traction and control in all conditions.

Extensive Display Of Polaris Models At LAMMA

For those of you looking for more power from your ATV, consider the Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 with its 952cc Prostar engine producing 90hp at 7,250 rpm. That is a massive amount of power in a quad and this Polaris has a 261kg payload capacity while featuring EPS, EBS and ADC. It also shares with the rest of the Sportsman range the facility for masses of storage space, with Polaris Lock & Ride, and a comprehensive choice of accessories.

The Polaris Ranger has been largely responsible for leading the charge in the rapid development of the side by side utility 4×4 vehicle market in the UK. For the farmer, the Ranger offers the perfect solution in off-road working transport capable of carrying up to six people, from the two-seater Ranger 570 to the Ranger Crew XP 1000 which accommodates six people, and in addition offers a load carrying dump box at the rear. Most importantly, the Polaris Ranger series gives you the choice of petrol, diesel or electric power, with the multiple options of Lock & Ride cabs to keep out the weather and a host of accessories to meet every need on the farm. As a highly capable alternative to an ATV, the Ranger 570 will take two people comfortably where they need to be across the roughest ground in all weathers. The electric Ranger, the EV, is equally proficient in rough terrain as an eco-friendly alternative, with its silent running 30hp on demand all-wheel drive.

For power, versatility and diesel economy nothing compares to the Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Diesel, sharing EPS, EBS and ADC with its Sportsman cousins and carrying three people in comfort. There’s a petrol equivalent in the Ranger XP 1000 EPS with the same features. Where there is a need to carry up to six people with room for equipment the Ranger Crew XP 1000 EPS fits perfectly as its name implies and with gamekeeping and shooting it has long become the first choice. For added convenience the six seater crew models are available in both petrol and diesel fuel option.

Also on display at LAMMA, the Polaris General 1000 EPS Deluxe Tractor, with ABS (Antilock Braking System) is the ultimate side by side for farm, work, hunting and leisure. Seen alongside its bigger brothers, Polaris is featuring the Sportsman 110 which offers a great way for youngsters to get started in quad biking. See the Polaris ranges at Stand No. R71 at LAMMA.

Heath Engineering To Return to LAMMA

Heath Engineering To Return to LAMMA: After a hugely successful debut at LAMMA 2017, Heath Engineering has confirmed it will be returning to the 2018 show on stand B77, which will be held on January 17-18 at the East of England Showground, Peterborough.

The innovative British manufacturer has been producing agricultural equipment for over seventy years with many customers learning that equipment carrying the ‘Heath Engineering’ name is synonymous with machines that are built to do the job and will last.

Heath Engineering To Return to LAMMA

The Heath Engineering brand and its state-of-the-art technology certainly caught the eye at the LAMMA 2017 Innovation Awards after the family owned business scooped a certificate of merit for the Farm Machinery & Equipment Innovation Award.

Amongst the vast portfolio of Heath Engineering farming equipment, it is products such as the Heath Super Grab which continues to take the industry by storm. In the past year, the company has reported that sales have increased by 125% on the Super Grab – and it’s easy to see why.

The Heath Super Grab is a truly innovative solution to large bale handling. A bale grab with a total ‘free release system’ enables safer bale stacking and loading. Holding of the bales is provided by four uniquely designed Hardox tines. The Heath Super Grab is able to handle 1200mm x 1200mm x 2400mm, 1200mm x 900mm x 2400mm and 1200mm x 800mm x 2400min bales either vertical or horizontal in operation.

Heath Safety Forks

The Heath Safety Forks is another safety focused product. The pallet tines have been designed to fold away for road transport making roadwork safer, while all controlled from the cab.

Heath Super Dozer

With the Heath Super Dozer you can always fill your grain sheds to capacity. This innovative telescopic grain dozer gives an extra 1500mm of powered push. The telescopic and carriage mounting points ensure a fold up vertical position for safe road transport between grain stores and farms.

Heath Super Bucket

The Heath Super Bucket is a high capacity 3 tonne grain handling bucket for farmers that require the fast loading of lorries – saving both labour resource and money.

Heath Handling Jib

The Heath Handling Jib has been specifically designed for use with non-telescopic materials handlers to allow extended handling of one tonne bags safely.

Heath Folding Mirror Kit

No more smashed mirrors from accidental reversing into shed walls! The Heath Folding Mirror Kit is a unique hydraulic fold-up mirror for use on telehandlers with pick-up hitches. It is linked into the pick-up hitch hydraulics of the vehicle to enable operation from within the cab.

Heath Mole and Super Mole

The Heath Mole and Super Mole are robust mole drainers to suit tractors from 100hp to 500hp. Both models come fitted with low disturbance cutting discs and low ground pressure tyres. The Heath Super Mole legs are fitted with floating independent linkages to cope with undulating ground conditions and changing subsurface conditions.
