Redexim UK extend territory for Lister Wilder: In a rationalisation of their partner network, Redexim UK have announced an expansion of territory for Lister Wilder. With immediate effect, Lister Wilder will be adding the counties of Dorset and Hampshire to their existing area, operating out of five depots across the south coast of England.

Redexim partners Lister Wilder are one of the UK’s largest groundcare and agricultural dealerships, servicing clients across the sporting spectrum from branches across the south. Their newest depot, located in Salisbury, was officially opened in 2023 and will now be responsible for the sales, service and support of the full Redexim natural and artificial machinery range. The announcement means Lister Wilder will become the port of call for customers from Bristol to the Kent coast.

Baroness announce Lister Wilder as dealers for Dorset: Baroness UK have announced the expansion of the territory area for existing dealer partners Lister Wilder. Effective immediately, sales and support across the Baroness range will now be offered to customers in the Dorset area which will be serviced by the Lister Wilder Salisbury depot, which opened in late 2023.

The move marks a natural progression for the territory already covered by the longstanding Baroness dealer, adding the Dorset region to the counties of Gloucester, Wiltshire and across to Hampshire, Kent and London already under Lister’s remit.

Lister Wilder raises £22K for Leukaemia & Myeloma Research

Lister Wilder raises £22K for Leukaemia & Myeloma Research: To celebrate the company’s 75th anniversary, 50 employees from professional machinery and service provider, Lister Wilder pledged to cycle 55 miles by taking part in this year’s London to Brighton Cycle Ride.

The event took place on the 11th September with over 4,000 participants taking part on the route that began  in Clapham, London andfinished at Brighton’s Madeira Drive.

Lister Wilder raises £22K for Leukaemia & Myeloma Research

Lister Wilder set an ambitious target of £20,000.00 back in May 2022. With the event now finished the final total raised stands at £22,250.00 which was officially donated to LMRUK this last week. (pictured), with Service Director Neil Davis who chose the charity handing over the cheque.

LMRUK invest in specialist research into stem cell therapies as a more effective treatment for blood cancer to help protect the next generation. The charity actively raises awareness of the signs and symptoms of blood cancer and encourages expectant parents to bank their newborn baby’s umbilical cord blood stem cells through its Model Cell Biobank service.

“On behalf of everyone at the Charity I would like to say a huge thank you for the amazing amount that Lister Wilder have raised for us! Thank you to everyone who took part in the event, to those who supported them and those who donated, we can’t thank them enough.”

“We would like to allocate the funds raised for one of our research grants. We fund researchers to advance their understanding of stem cells and how they can use them to treat blood cancer patients, particularly through stem cell transplants. All applications are assessed by the Research Review Committee to ensure that they are relevant to the Charities objectives, blood cancer and its treatment using stem cells. We would be honoured to call the grant, the Lister Wilder Research Grant.” Dr Joanna Tilley, Interim Operations Director “It’s been a real pleasure organising and taking part in this event” said Phill Hughes – Sales Director “We are delighted with the amount of money that we’ve raised for LMRUK, and are grateful to everyone that donated to us, both corporate and individually. Kubota announces expansion with Lister Wilder: Kubota (UK) Ltd is pleased to announce that Lister Wilder is to further widen its geographical area, reaching into parts of South West of England.

This progressive extension of its sales area and customer base, will see the dealership expand into Somerset to support agricultural and ground care customers across the South West of England from its newest Kubota centre, located at Keynsham, Bristol.

“Lister Wilder’s expansion further strengthens Kubota’s commitment to its customers and the markets in which our business operates,” says Henry Bredin, general manager of Kubota (UK)’s Tractor Business Unit. “This move sees Lister Wilder continue to strengthen its partnership with Kubota, as it actively supports a wider customer base in both agricultural and ground care sectors.”

It may be recalled that Lister Wilder became the first full-line Kubota dealer in Europe, and its business expansion plans have already seen the first of its new Kubota centres established at Meadowlands, Bibury in Gloucestershire, and also at Keynsham, Bristol.

Both these new Kubota centres have led to the creation of new jobs within sales, after-sales and service, plus parts and warranty departments, stimulating the local economies in which Lister Wilder operates.

Lister Wilder’s Bristol-based Kubota centre is scheduled to open on 3rd May 2022 on Burnett Business Park. Its location enables the dealership to support customers in north Somerset and the Mendip Hills, reaching south to Bridgwater and the Quantocks.

“We’re pleased to be a part of this exciting journey with Kubota, but just as importantly, we’re looking forward to welcoming new and existing agricultural and ground care customers through the doors at Keynsham,” says Phill Hughes, sales director for Lister Wilder.

Both family-run companies showcase a reputable history for quality and service, this has resulted in a positive partnership that will further strengthen both brands within the UK Golf Machinery market.

Salsco was first established in 1979 supplying a varied portfolio of products including Golf Course and Turf Equipment. All machines are designed and manufactured at their facility in Cheshire, Connecticut, USA. All phases of manufacturing is handled in-house and the products are distributed worldwide, they currently have over 200 dealers and sales representatives globally.

The Salsco greens rollers already come with high-praise from existing Golf Course Managers who have stated that their greens rolling time had been cut by nearly a third with the product. As well as time-saving being a key benefit the presentation and playability of the green is said to have been improved dramatically. With an impressive list of prestigious Golf Clubs such as The Wisley, Royal Cinque Ports, Worpleston and Parkstone currently using the rollers, there is a clear and encouraging customer base to build upon.

Lister Wilder has grown relationships with Golf clients for over 25 years and this addition will strengthen their offering. The HP11-lll models being the most popular, the company will firstly concentrate on stocking these to ensure efficient supply. Other models of the green’s rollers will be available for customers to specially order.
