Kubota loader range for M-series tractors

Kubota loader range for M-series tractors: A full range of MX-built Kubota loaders is now available for M-series tractors including the M4, M5, M6 and M7 models which span the 66-170hp sector.

Designated the LK range, the orange-liveried loader models provide an integrated, high-precision materials handling solution for M-series tractors, enabling customers to choose a tractor and high-performance loader package that closely suits their needs.

There are three series of loader available, badged LK U (utility-mechanical), LK M (mechanical) and LK H (hydraulic). And all three series differ in specification, lift capacity and tractor suitability. LK U and LK M versions offer a mechanical parallel lift and a headstock that uses automatic mechanical attachment locking, while LK H loaders benefit from a hydraulic parallel lift system. All models can be equipped with the optional Mach 2 coupling for loader and attachment hydraulic services, which delivers simultaneous coupling of hydraulic and electrical connections in a single action.

Loader numbers closely reflect lift capacities, which extend from 1,180kg to 2,410kg depending on model, while maximum lift height at the pivot pint is from 3.5m to 4.15m.

Buyers can choose from three control systems to suit their model of LK loader. These include the cable-operated ProPilot joystick; a low-pressure servo-based FlexPilot joystick; or the electronic e-Pilot S control system. Push-button control options are available for auxiliary services, and depending on the model, these can also include a fourth hydraulic service and an automatic return to dig function.

Fitting and removing the loader from the tractor is a straightforward process, thanks to Fitlock – the mechanical latching mechanism that secures the loader onto the tractor’s brackets. The operator only needs to leave the cab once to unlock the loader, as the drive-in format relocks automatically when engaged. Fitlock uses a coloured mechanical indicator – visible from the inside and outside the cab – to provide an easy visual reference of the loader’s status; locked or unlocked.

In addition, LK H models can be equipped with the optional Fastlock attachment connection and Speedlink 3rd and 4th service connections, enabling attachment swaps without needing to leave the cab.

Integral parking stands and pivot pins with protected grease nipples add to the operator convenience, as does the Shock Eliminator hydraulic boom suspension system, while pipework protection comes from passing hydraulic hoses through the inside of the loader boom.

LK loaders are priced from £7,278 for the LK1500U model in loader-ready configuration including a third service, tractor brackets and Pro Pilot joystick controls.

Stage V M-Series arrive in UK

Stage V M-Series arrive in UK: Boarcross Ltd, based in Driffield in East Yorkshire, has taken delivery of the first of the new Bobcat Stage V M-Series skid-steer loaders coming to the UK.

The new S450 loader was supplied by AMS Bobcat Limited, the Authorised Bobcat Dealer for Lincolnshire and East and South Yorkshire. It represents the latest generation of Bobcat loaders at Boarcross, which has been using the Bobcat brand for more than 10 years.

Company Director, Andrew Corrigan, said: “We did consider other makes but based on our good experience with the Bobcat loaders over several years, we decided on the Bobcat range for the replacement for our existing S450 unit. I was also impressed by the increased service interval and higher reliability of the new Stage V machine.”

Boarcross carries out the complete pig farming process from farrowing to finishing. The company has two breeding locations from which piglets are taken to various pig finishing units around East and North Yorkshire. The new S450 Stage V model and the other five Bobcat loaders in the Boarcross fleet are used to handle the straw used in the sow units and for mucking out the finishing units. The compact nature of the Bobcat loaders is also ideal for cleaning out the company’s poultry sheds which house around 90,000 hens.

More Power, Less Noise, Lower Emissions, Yet Still Compact

As well as the new generation S450, Bobcat has also launched new versions of its market-leading M-Series S510 and S530 models, the first in the Bobcat range to feature a specially developed Stage V compliant Bobcat D24 engine. The new Stage V M-Series loaders provide operators with increased performance, enhanced comfort and optimised maintenance requirements to maximise job site efficiency

Skilful design work has ensured that even with the Bobcat Stage V engine incorporated, the small dimensions of the new S450, S510 and S530 skid-steer loaders are maintained, offering a truly compact size and low weight, so they can work/manoeuvre easily in tight spaces and can be easily transported.

The new Bobcat engine provides 37% more torque and fast recovery from overload compared to the previous machines, which ensures increased comfort for the operator as they can work with the same power at lower RPM, at lower noise levels and with lower fuel consumption for the same jobs.

By offering the same power at lower RPM, the new Bobcat engine provides a significant decrease in noise levels, reducing operator fatigue and lowering fuel consumption for the same type of work. In addition, with an engine equipped with a diesel particulate filter (DPF) as standard, users can work in emission-regulated zones such as city and town centres.

The new Bobcat engine has also allowed the company to extend maintenance intervals with the first service now being after 500 hours and to reduce the number of fuel filter replacements required.

The new Stage V loaders now feature the previously optional Deluxe control panel as standard, offering a choice of different languages and telematics to protect machines and to monitor their performance. Bobcat has also extended the choice of factory installed tyres for the three models, ensuring they can be more closely matched to customers’ applications right from the start.

New Bobcat M-Series at Agritechnica

New Bobcat M-Series at Agritechnica: Bobcat, the leading manufacturer of compact equipment, is presenting its new M-Series Stage V compliant skid-steer loaders to the general public for the first time at Agritechnica 2019.

Also on show at Agritechnica (Hanover, Germany – Stand D04, Hall 6) are several highlights from Bobcat’s wide range of telescopic loaders, mini-excavators, compact track loaders and agricultural attachments.

New Bobcat M-Series at Agritechnica

World fair premiere: M-Series skid-steer loaders with more power, same compact size and new design

The redesigned M-Series S450, S510 and S530 models will receive their official premiere at a world fair, having been introduced to a select group of customers at the Bobcat Demo Days in Dobříš in the Czech Republic in October this year. Equipped with a specially developed Stage V compliant Bobcat engine, the new skid-steer loaders offer greater power, enhanced comfort and optimised maintenance. Cleverly designed, they maintain the compact dimensions of this legendary series. As effortlessly as ever, they can manoeuvre in the smallest spaces, and transport is easy thanks to their low weight. The new models, commercially available from January 2020, will also be the first Bobcat machines for the European market to carry the company’s new branding design.

Popular options, such as air-conditioning, the deluxe instrument panel and high-flow auxiliary hydraulics now come as standard with the 500 series models. Thanks to an additional 37% of torque and faster recovery from overload compared to previous models, the operator obtains the same power at lower engine speeds, reduced noise levels and lower fuel consumption. In addition, the diesel particulate filter, included as standard, makes it possible to work in areas with strict emission standards.

As well as the new M-Series skid-steer loaders, Bobcat’s T590 compact track loader is being shown in an increasingly popular configuration for forestry applications. And the introduction of Bobcat’s Quad-track skid-steer loader concept is another highlight at this year’s Agritechnica. The bolt-on/bolt-off quad-tracks allow machines to be adapted even more flexibly to different environments and applications. At this point, Quad-track is still a concept in the evaluation phase. Several powerful demonstrations will provide Agritechnica visitors with insights into product development along with machine and concept evaluation at Bobcat.

Bobcat telescopic loaders

Popular in many industries, the Bobcat TL30.70 and TL43.80HF telescopic loaders are being exhibited on the Agritechnica stand. The company’s range of telehandlers now encompasses 15 different rigid frame machines with lifting capacities between 2.6 and 4.3 tonne and lifting heights from 6 to 18 m.

The TL30.70 compact telescopic loader offers a maximum lifting capacity of 3 tonne and a maximum lifting height of almost 7 metres – the perfect choice for many applications in construction and agriculture. A compact and economic alternative to larger 7-metre models, the TL30.70 excels above all in small work areas where outstanding manoeuvrability is a priority.

The TL43.80HF, despite its compact dimensions, provides an impressive lifting capacity of 4.3 tonne and a maximum lifting height of almost 8 m. With a selection of three different ‘AGRI’ packages, the TL43.80HF is available in several formats for the agricultural market. Earlier this year, it was also introduced in a ‘Waste Expert’ version, designed specifically for use in the harsh conditions of the waste and recycling industry.

Bobcat mini-excavators and the market’s largest attachment range

From its successful range of mini-excavators, Bobcat is demonstrating the E20z model. This 2-tonne model comes with Zero House Swing (ZHS) functionality, offering free 320 degree rotation and enabling work near buildings without compromising on comfort or performance. In addition to a great breakout force, this high-performance excavator provides excellent hydraulics performance, high operating comfort and easy maintenance access.

With a choice of over 100 types of attachment, each individual Bobcat machine becomes a versatile all-rounder for many tasks in agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, building and road construction as well as the recycling industry.

Bobcat launch new Stage V M-Series

Bobcat launch new Stage V M-Series: Enhancing Bobcat’s leadership of the skid-steer loader market in Europe, the company has launched new versions of its market-leading M-Series S450, S510 and S530 models, the first in the range to feature a specially developed Stage V compliant Bobcat engine.

All of the new skid-steer loader models are manufactured at the Bobcat compact equipment plant in Dobris in the Czech Republic.

Bobcat launch new Stage V M-Series

The new Stage V M-Series loaders provide operators with increased performance, enhanced comfort and optimised maintenance requirements to maximise job site efficiency. They are designed to continue the success of the Bobcat range globally, where nearly one out of every two skid-steer loaders on the market is a Bobcat machine.

Mike Vought, Senior Director, Product Management, commented: “M-series loaders are some of the best-selling models for Bobcat in Europe and the new Stage V machines build on the legacy set by their predecessors. Customers will benefit from the compact size coupled with the high torque and performance of the new engines. The Stage V engines also allow us to add the popular air conditioning and high flow hydraulics options to the 500 series models further increasing operator comfort and performance.”

More Power but Still Compact

Compactness within this performance class was the key benefit appreciated by Bobcat customers.

New High-Flow Hydraulics Option

Another very important advantage derived from the Bobcat engine is the availability of a new high-flow hydraulics option for the S510 and S530 Stage V models. This further expands the exceptional versatility of these machines allowing them to be used with higher flow attachments such as sweepers, planers and wheel saws. There is also a new air conditioning option on the S510 and S530.

Innovative Machine Styling and Built-in Technologies

The new Stage V M-Series machines are the first models in the Bobcat compact equipment range in Europe to have the company’s innovative new machine styling scheme, which includes 3D decals for the first time.

The cab on the new loaders is radio ready with a 12 volt power outlet for charging mobile phones and other devices, a cup holder, added storage compartments and new full-colour, deluxe instrument panels.

The ‘Swiss Knife’ of the Compact Equipment Market

As well as their compactness, the S450, S510 and S530 skid-steer loaders can be supplied with a comprehensive choice of over 50 different product families of approved attachments, offering solutions for a very wide range of applications and providing a perfect illustration of the Bobcat Tool Carrier concept common to all Bobcat compact loaders.

The S450 and S510 radius lift path loaders combine excellent manoeuvrability in tight areas with the reach and visibility needed for applications such as dumping materials over walls, backfilling or loading flatbed trucks. The S530 model features vertical lift path boom arms particularly suited to lift and carry as well as material-handling applications.

All three skid-steer loader models offer a two-speed option which boosts the maximum travel speed from 11.4 km/h in low range to 17.3 km/h in high range. The hydraulic bucket positioning option keeps the loader bucket level as the lift arms travel upward, enabling operators to spill less and work faster.
