The INFINICUT® trailer has been designed to be simple to use, protective of the mower and competitively priced – offering the convenient and safe transportation of the 22” model between greens. It features a roller ramp on/off system, the rubber roller affixing to the mower stub axles before securing with a quick release locking and unlocking mechanism. The cutting unit is supported on a cushioned platform to minimise any movement in HOC. As standard, it is equipped with large surface area tyres to help cushion dynamic forces when traversing over uneven ground, with the option of swapping to regular transport tyres when required.

Introduced in direct response to demand from the golf market, a new 22” dedicated cutting unit will also be showcased. When married to the INFINICUT® traction unit, with its unique floating mechanism, overall balance and wireless control system, this new mower offers unbeatable cut performance and unparalleled contour following ability.

Its extruded aluminium main structure provides exceptional torsional rigidity and reduces oscillation keeping the mower ‘on-cut’ for longer. Lever action groomer engagement is precise and quick, with various groomer configurations available, along with simple adjustment, removal and installation of the bedknife for fast sharpening. The deflector shield is also adjustable to optimise the ejection of clippings.

Synonymous with the entire INFINICUT® range, the new 22” cutting unit features SMARTCut™ reel technology for optimal cut performance, precision and quality of finish. The SMARTCut™ reels, manufactured in-house in Sheffield, are dynamically balanced and are guaranteed concentric to within 20µm across the entire length. The SMARTCut™ forms part of the wider TMSystem™ collection of grooming, mowing and maintenance cassettes which can transform the INFINICUT® or most mainstream models of multi-gang mowers into versatile systems for complete turf refinement.

New Toro technology at BTME

New Toro technology at BTME: New machinery from Toro, the next big thing for sustainable machinery cleaning and a wealth of innovative technology to make the job of turfcare and ground management professionals easier from Reesink UK will be at BTME 2023.

New machinery from Toro is always a big draw and this year there are two machines debuting – the new Toro ProCore 648s and Toro Workman UTX 4×4.

The Toro ProCore 648s builds on the greenkeeper favourite – the ProCore 648, introducing even more features to the time-tested machine that changed the way customers aerate. With 10 new patents, the technology in this machine more than warrants the s in its name which stands for superior.

Now, with all the primary controls at the operator’s fingertips, this machine can be operated single-handedly. Hole spacing and true tine depth can be set and saved in the InfoCentre and there’s a broader range of 5mm (0.25 inches) for the ultimate control. Of course, there are plenty more features and benefits, visit stand 622 and speak to a Reesink representative to hear all about them.

The next new entry from Toro is the Workman UTX 4×4. This robust four-wheel drive, full-sized utility vehicle can handle curbs, inclines, hillsides, slopes and drops and all weathers. It has a high ground clearing (25.4cm/10ins), a towing capacity of up to 2000lbs and 25 percent more cargo capacity than that of others in its class.

It’s road-ready and comes with a proprietary speed control system to guarantee the right speed and power for the job at hand, meaning customers can choose between lower RPMs for lower fuel consumption and sound in sensitive areas, or higher RPMs for more power to haul a heavier load up hills and inclines.

Also on stand will be an example of Toro’s sustainable machinery options: the electric Greensmaster eTriFlex 3370 riding mower, Greensmaster eFlex 1021 pedestrian mower and Workman GTXe utility vehicle.

The Greensmaster eTriFlex 3370 is the industry’s first lithium-ion battery powered ride-on greensmower. As well as being whisper quiet allowing for earlier start times, the eTriFlex 3370 avoids emissions, pollution and damaging hydraulic leaks. While the all-electric Greensmaster eFlex 1021 takes electrical efficiency to a new level mowing 35,000sqft on a single charge. And with Flex suspension, it hugs the contours for that iconic Toro cut. Meanwhile, the lithium-ion battery-powered Workman GTX-L with hundreds of configurable options that include front and rear attachments, a flat bed and four-seat option, to name but a few.

Carrying on the sustainability theme, Reesink will have product from their UK Golf cleaning and sustainability partner Bio-Circle. On the stand will be Bio-Circle’s new EKO Natural Cleaning System and also GT Maxi, the parts cleaner that requires no water and eliminates pollutant runoff into the water system.

Further technology comes in the shape of the Toro myTurf Pro app, that allows parts to be ordered, service activities to be scheduled and utilisation data to be tracked in real-time.

Finishing off the line up from Reesink Hydro-Scapes are the most advanced central control irrigation system, controllers, sprinklers and soil systems from Toro, water aerators for the cleanest, healthiest water quality from Otterbine, the simple but effective 2-wire controller from SRC and the highest quality water pumping systems from Franklin’s Pumps, whatever the water requirement a solution can be found on stand 622.

Lantra to open New Year with a bang

Lantra to open New Year with a bang: Lantra is kick-starting the New Year with a bang by attending and exhibiting at BTME, the prestigious event for golf and sports turf professionals.

Lantra will be on hand at the event, which runs from 24th to 26th January, to champion the cause for skills development, how interested industry professionals could potentially start their journey to become Lantra Instructors or Assessors, and spotlight a range of courses in Pesticides, Ride-on Mowers, Groundcare Machinery and the latest addition to the training suite, Landscape Multi-Tools.

Ian Sumpter, of Mow-Sure, who is also a Lantra Instructor and Assessor, will be delivering some of the Machinery Maintenance training suite as part of the ‘Continue to Learn’ classes that take place around the exhibition between the 22nd and 25th January.

David Fisher, Lantra’s Head of Industry Partnerships (Landscape and Rural) will be available on the Lantra stand to offer expert advice on courses designed to meet the challenges, innovations and regulatory rules in the industry.

David said: “BTME is a major event, and we are very much looking forward to using this exhibition to promote the need for CPD, upskilling, and ensuring people work productively, legally and most importantly safely.

“We recognise that, like so many other land-based industries, a shortage of suitably skilled labour is a major issue in the sports turf and wider landscaping sector.

“A key solution to addressing this skills gap and growing the sector is without doubt high quality, industry-recognised training and qualifications.

“That’s why we believe it’s crucial we attend events like BTME to share details of our latest training initiatives.

“Our training is trusted by the Landscape and Sports Turf sector as we deliver high-quality, industry-recognised courses to support workforce skills development.

“Lantra’s new Landscape Multi-Tools and updated Ride-On Mowers training courses will certainly be worth checking out at BTME 2023 as they cover technological advances in both petrol and battery powered machinery. We also have an increasing number of sports turf related customised provision training courses being offered through our network of approved training providers.”

For further information about BTME 2023 please log on to https://www.btme.org.uk/ Lantra will be in Hall 1 on exhibition stand 146.

New location and bespoke stand

New location and bespoke stand: Price Turfcare, the UK and Ireland distributor of the Ventrac multi-implement, all-terrain compact tractor, returns to BTME with a new location and a bespoke stand for this year’s event.

For the past three events, we have occupied a space at the top of the stairway leading to Hall 3, but for this year’s event we have moved to Hall 1, where you will find us on a new, bespoke stand with an impressive display of the new Ventrac 4520 compact tractor and attachments.

New location and bespoke stand

New location and bespoke stand

For some visitors it will be the first opportunity to see the new machine. It’s not a radical change, but there’s a whole series of improvements ‘under the bonnet’ resulting in 30% more available power, giving the best mix of machine performance, operator experience and durability.

At its core, the 4520 is a compact tractor, but it is very different to what most greenkeepers are used to seeing. The purpose of a tractor is to perform tasks more efficiently than manual tasks. The Ventrac 4520 plays on these advantages, then takes it to the next level. When coupled with the extensive line of over 25 Ventrac attachments, this tractor is a versatile machine for a variety of professional users.

The 4520 retains all the features of its predecessor, including its 30-degree slope climbing ability, but has been enhanced with an all-new hydraulic system featuring larger bore piping, more powerful auxiliary hydraulics and more resilient hoses and fittings resulting in faster and stronger operation. That means 30% more available power, improving performance and productivity while providing the operator with a quieter working platform.

Ventrac has become the number one choice for versatility in the greenkeeping sector. Combining a blend of peak power and agility with front-mounted attachments for superior visibility, a pivoting frame for manoeuvrability, and excellent weight distribution for balance and stability, the new 4520 elevates the Ventrac experience to a whole new level.

To understand why the industry has embraced the Ventrac product come along and visit stand 122 in Hall 1.
