Polaris Introduces Heavy Duty Parts

Polaris Introduces Heavy Duty Parts: Everybody and every ride is different, and for those who ride in extreme conditions; conditions that are even tougher and more demanding on the vehicle, Polaris introduces its Heavy Duty Parts Program: a collection of parts that have been engineered to deliver the best driving experience possible, no matter how extreme it may be.

The Heavy Duty (HD) parts expand the boundaries of Polaris riders by helping to tackle heavy payloads, extreme cold, extreme heat and much more. The HD Parts program offers HD Brake Pads, HD Drive Belts, HD Oil Filters and HD Bearings that feature triple sealing to keep out water dust and mud making them last much longer in the extreme, as well as HD Bushings that are made of a stronger material compound to enhance the wear characteristics.

Dario Baraggia, PG&A Manager at Polaris Off-Road Vehicles EMEA said “Our Heavy Duty Parts have been developed and tested to ensure riders get the most out of their rides, taking the passion of the riders, workers and outdoor enthusiasts to the next level.”

HEAVY-DUTY BRAKE PADS

Polaris Parts introduces four new, tough handling, brake pad options. Available in sets of two pads and designed to provide a premium braking performance, riders can trust the brake pads will tackle severe mud riding, operate under extreme payload and aggressive towing. The Heavy Duty options also have an increased pad density that lasts three times longer in harsh muddy and wet conditions and a high friction capacity resulting in less effort and shorter stopping distances. The HD Brake Pads offer quiet breaking through a noise insulator which also helps to prevent squealing in all extreme conditions.

HEAVY-DUTY DRIVE BELTS

Purposely built for Heavy-Duty customers, the new Heavy-Duty Drive Belts will fit over two million Polaris Off-Road Vehicles including the Sportsman 500s, RGR 1000s, RZR XP 1000s and more. Developed in collaboration with Powertrain and clutch engineers to ensure 100% customer confidence in maximising the performance and ultimate durability of the ride. The HD Drive Belt is made from an enhanced rubber material compound that will keep the belt cool in extreme conditions and a patent cord treatment process that maximises the transfer of horsepower to the ground to help hauling heavy loads; extreme riders are now unstoppable.

HEAVY-DUTY OIL FILTER

Engineered to keep oil clean with a robust housing and steel tube centre, the Heavy-Duty Oil Filter has been designed to resist vibration and high temperatures under extreme riding conditions. With advanced synthetic material the HD Oil Filter is built to give the highest debris holding capacity, maintain oil flow and maximise performance. The Heavy-Duty oil filters will not deform under duress from the harsh and extreme conditions. The three new Heavy-Duty Oil Filters will fit over two million Polaris Off-Road Vehicles.

Trust Toro genuine parts

Trust Toro genuine parts: Grounds teams across the nation are likely working at a reduced rate due to the focus on essential services, but grass growth stops for no one. When maintenance routines return to normal, make sure your cylinder mowers are ready for the challenge with genuine Toro bottom blades.

Toro parts UK distributor Reesink Turfcare has some advice for grounds teams preparing their machines for work – choose your bottom blades carefully. Michael Hampton, parts manager at Reesink, says: “Bottom blades can be an area where buyers decide to cut corners, choosing an inferior, spurious part in order to save money, but that doesn’t make long-term sense when you have a Toro machine and short-term that could be even worse.

“You need to be sure your machine can go out there and deal with potentially months of uncut grass effectively, with ease, delivering the best possible finish when there’s lots to do and you don’t want to be relying on ‘will fit’ parts for that.”

Well-maintained bottom blades are vital in producing a quality cut and genuine Toro bottom blades are the best there are, outperforming ‘will fit’ inferior quality parts. Research at Toro headquarters in America proves this point. In tests focused on many physical characteristics, in particular the flatness of the blade and positioning of the chamfered mounting holes, results showed that unbranded bottom blades failed in over 50 percent of Toro’s quality specification standards.

Michael continues: “Grounds fleets will be put through their paces when the time comes to start cutting more areas, or more frequently, again. Not only will it be high season but there’s likely a lot of backlog to deal with. The last thing the team needs are delays dealing with worn, damaged or blunted bottom blades or wasted time waiting for replacement parts.”

Reesink is still open for business and teams in our service centres, warehouses and across our supply chain are working tirelessly to deliver parts for our customers.

Toro Extends Parts Range

Toro Extends Parts Range: Dedicated to bringing you more, Reesink Turfcare has extended its Toro Parts range with Toro Reels+ and EdgeSeries Reels+, and with this introduction comes multiple plus points for machinery maintenance.

This means that all the bearings are already pressed on with the required low-drag flock seals and spacers. Therefore there’s no need to install all the parts separately which results in a huge reduction in assembly time.

With the integration of the cylinder and all its components, the guesswork for technicians is removed, ensuring the recommended bearings are utilised which increases the product life of your cutting units. Less time on maintenance, and a longer life span means there’s more time to focus on providing the best turf care possible.

Using Toro Reels+ and EdgeSeries Reels+ reduces installation time by approximately 15-20 minutes per cylinder which brings yet another plus point – less time and labour means your mowers are back in action faster, saving money and resources.

Plus, using genuine Toro parts means you’ll always maintain Toro’s legendary quality of cut.

Michael Hampton, parts manager at Reesink Turfcare, says: “Toro Reels+ and EdgeSeries Reels+ guarantee a fit which matches the exact engineering specifications of the mower. And as you might expect, a perfect fit produces a perfect cut.

“Both products will also see customers make real savings. As well as reducing maintenance time, by buying a cylinder that comes with the bearings, seals and spacers needed, customers actually get a discount from the individual part retail price. Added to the high-quality performance of the product, Reels+ and EdgeSeries Reels+ are a real game changer.”
