New warranties on TYM range: Reesink Turfcare is offering customers even more in 2020 with a new three-year ‘bumper to bumper’ warranty package on all new TYM tractors.

Reesink, the UK distributor of TYM, has long been known for offering more when it comes to its service, after-sales support, parts and warranties and 2020 starts as it means to go on with the brand extending its warranties on all TYM tractors to three years.

Reesink’s TYM sales manager, Steven Haynes, says: “We’re here to offer peace of mind to our customers that when they buy a tractor from us, we cover it for any unforeseen circumstances for three years or until 2,000 hours whichever comes first. These warranties demonstrate our confidence in the product and our dedication to offering our customers more.”

It makes good business sense to ensure your tractor investment is cared for against any unforeseen expensive repair costs, and Reesink is offering protection on the whole tractor at no extra cost.

Compact tractors are ever popular in the turfcare industry due to their multi-functional capabilities, which make them the perfect addition for a busy golf club or sports stadium and TYM tractors in particular are powerful and versatile enough to tackle a wide range of jobs. From transporting and loading materials, hedge cutting, mowing, scarifying, aerating and various other specialist works including drainage, the wide range which extends from 19 to 100hp offers a solution for every turfcare need.

All TYM tractors benefit from powerful, liquid-cooled diesel engines, hydrostatic power-steering for effortless manoeuvrability and a tight turning circle, and a heavy-duty, four-wheel-drive front axle for greater traction where needed.

Plus, most can be upgraded with optional heated and air-conditioned cabs for maximum operator comfort. But models without cabs boast a handy feature as well – the ROPS roll bar can be folded down for compact, convenient storage under a low roof. Greenworks new battery range

Greenworks new battery range: Greenworks, the world’s leading cordless garden products brand, launches a new twin-battery range for 2020 that will revolutionise the way we maintain our gardens in Britain.

The package includes a 48v cordless lawnmower – with the power provided by two separate 24v batteries.  One of the two light-weight batteries can also be swapped into a line-trimmer or hedge cutter, where weight and manoeuvrability are paramount.

“Consumers tell us that they want a high-performance from cordless lawnmowers but find the size and weight of a larger voltage batteries a handicap when using them in hand-held line trimmers and hedge cutters.  We have solved by problem by powering the lawnmower with two 24v batteries that run in parallel thus delivering 48v of power.  This way, both batteries are light in weight and can then be used individually in any of the 24v range including the line trimmers and hedge cutters,” says Greenworks’ Mark Moseley.

“Gardeners can have a top of the range cordless lawnmower, a line trimmer and hedge cutter plus twin-charger and two batteries, from the world’s leading producer of cordless equipment, for £318.99.    This will be among the most compelling offers on the market for the start of the 2020 gardening season and moves battery powered gardening to a new level of competitive high performance,” adds Mark.

The line-trimmer and hedge cutter can be bought separately, including charger and single 24v battery for £79.99.   The charging time for a 24v 2ah battery is one hour and a single charge will be perfect to cope with tennis court sized lawns.

Greenworks has a large range of cordless garden products available with a variety of different battery voltages.   The new 2020 lawnmower, line-trimmer and hedge cutter offer is available nationally from garden centres such as Dobbies, sheds and specialist dealers.   All Greenworks products offer the power and performance of petrol with no emissions, simple starting, minimal servicing and ease of use.   As their names says, cordless products operate without the need for trailing power cables.

New addition to the SCAG Stand-on mower range: The V-Ride is a stand-on mower designed for professional use; the compact machine size, ease of manouevering and clear view for the operator have lead to the V-Ride becoming increasingly popular for intricate mowing areas.

The Ride-On SCAG machines, because they are purpose-built for grasscutting, place the operator directly above the cutting deck, and one of the main features on the new V-Ride is that the revised configuration of the stand-on deck follows the same concept, placing the operator nearer the centre of the machine.

New Dennis range at SALTEX: Dennis Mowers will be unveiling a new and exciting range of mowers when the show opens its doors at the NEC, Birmingham on October 30 and 31.

Although product details are being kept tightly under wraps, the Dennis stand at SALTEX (E070) is set to be the hub of groundscare innovation at its finest. Anticipation and excitement is already building around the unnamed product range as the company continues its significant investment in its range of professional mowers.

Aside from the new range of products there will also be a stellar line-up of world-class maintenance equipment for every type of playing surface.

Designed specifically for fine turf, SALTEX attendees can expect to see the Razor Ultra 560 which has a 560mm (22”) cutting width and incorporates many key features including an 11 bladed cutting cylinder, ultra-short wheelbase for undulating surfaces, tungsten tipped groomer, compact handle design for extra manoeuvrability, click height adjusters and stub free transport wheels for easy transport from site to site.

The Dennis FT510 has long been a popular choice for turf managers and it’s easy to see why. With a 51cm working width, the FT510 provides its user with comfort, flexibility and excellent performance. A true sense of control is obtained through the unique roller clutch drive for a smooth take-up and a variable clip rate helping to create the desired finish.

Available with five-bladed and ten-bladed cutting cylinders the machine can be matched to any situation and the interchangeable cassettes can be changed without the requirement of any tools. The range of 11 different heads mean that one machine can be used for several key maintenance tasks including scarifying, verticutting or brushing.
