Trime goes T-ZERO

Trime goes T-ZERO: Could all contractor and hire firms soon have access to fossil fuel free construction machinery? This is the proposition put forward by the Trime Group, a leading manufacturer of site lighting, power generation, and associated equipment with their exciting new initiative, T-ZERO PRO.

In line with some leading car manufacturers, the company states that they have begun to phase out fossil-fuel equipment and, by 2025, only offer emission-free machinery.

The Trime Group have been designing and building a range of environmentally centred equipment for the past six years from their production facilities based near Milan, Italy. Their X-ECO LED lighting tower has become a worldwide best-seller in the hire, construction, utility, mining, rail and events markets. The X-ECO LED uses long-life LED lamps and is designed to be economically fuel efficient.

Following on from the success of the X-ECO LED, Trime began engineering a complete range of sustainable lighting towers each combining energy-saving, emission-reducing features. Trime now has an extensive line of battery-hybrid, solar-hybrid and solar-only lighting towers that are distributed around the world through their global dealer and distributor network.

A company within the Trime Group, Tekno Proget, manufactures power generation machinery from 4.5 to 670.0kVA for a variety of applications. With the demand for carbon-reducing and low fuel consumption machinery increasing at a rapid pace, Tekno Proget has added a range of battery-hybrid and solar-hybrid power generators into their portfolio. This line currently features single-phase sets, 3.5 kVA, 6.00kVA, 10.00kVA and three-phase generators, 25.0kVA, 45.0kVA, 60.0kVA with 100kVA units soon to be made available. Tekno Proget equipment is available worldwide.

The Trime Group now plans to go even one step further with the introduction of their T-ZERO PRO power module. This advanced system is centred on building a specially designed battery pack that brings together seamless long run times with quick recharging. The T-ZERO PRO power module produces zero noise, zero vibration, uses zero fuel with zero emissions. The batteries are designed to fit on to the outside of the equipment, which helps to dissipate heat more effectively thus preventing overheating, and possible shutdowns. The T-ZERO PRO system is intended to replace many of the diesel, gasoline and LPG powered engines currently fitted to machinery used on construction sites.

The Trime T-ZERO PRO system is nearing the end of a testing phase and will soon move into full production.

The Trime Group is a market leader in the manufacture and supply of environmentally sustainable equipment for the hire, construction, event, rail and utility markets. Trime UK is headquartered in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire; their manufacturing plant is based near Milan, Italy. There are Trime dealers and distributors throughout the world.

Trime To Support Water Aid

Trime To Support Water Aid: Trime UK, the manufacturer and supplier of advanced wash bay systems are delighted to announce that will be supporting the charity Water Aid.

Paul Hay, managing director of Trime UK explains, “Since becoming established in 2016, we have been looking to support a charity that has compatible aims with our own. As the X-SPLASH wash bay system is designed to limit the amount of water it uses through its’ recycling system, we came to a natural conclusion to approach the leading water conversation charity, Water Aid.”

Trime To Support Water Aid

Trime UK has undertaken to make regular donations to Water Aid, based around the number of X-SPLASH systems installed in the UK. There are upwards of one hundred X-SPLASH units currently in operation throughout the country.

Trime UK have a large advance order book for all of the four X-SPLASH systems. In particular, they have repeat orders from a national equipment hire firm to install X-SPLASH wash bays into all of their depots. In addition, a separate tool hire firm has given Trime the go ahead to replace all their old wash bays with the new X-SPLASH system. This could result several hundreds of pounds being donated to Water Aid.

The X-SPLASH is an ecological, flexible cleaning system for plant and machinery. The system prevents soil pollution and contamination of drains, from oil, grease, and similar chemical contaminants.  It has an inbuilt recycling process to ensure that all the water is contained and reused. The filtering system that also ensures no contaminates are discharged accidently, resulting in an overall water usage reduction. The X-SPLASH is relocatable and features a modular section drainage base with a micro-switch in the rear solids collection tank set to activate the drainage pump when the water reaches a pre-set level.

Water Aid is a globally operating charity with a strategy to make water, toilets and hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere. Their mission is to transform the lives of the poorest and most marginalised people by improving access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene.

Trime UK Limited is an environmentally conscious company that supplies many of the leading UK firms with eco-sensitive LED site lighting equipment. The Trime Group is regarded as one of the leading suppliers of powered LED lighting sets to the worldwide construction and event markets. The company is now extending its line of equipment to encompass a range of environmentally sustainable equipment built specifically for industry. The X-SPLASH is their flagship product in this expanding range.

Glendun Plant will showcase the Trime products alongside their expanding scope of supply at the Balmoral Show, which is Northern Ireland’s largest agricultural event. The show is set for 15th to 18th May and held at Balmoral Park, Halftown Rd, Sprucefield.

With visitors anticipated from right across the island of Ireland, delegates will have the opportunity to view the Trime X-CHAIN site lighting unit alongside their brand new product the X-DUST dust suppression module.

Trime Products At Balmoral Show

The X-CHAIN LED is a stand-alone tower floodlight fully equipped with stabilisers, retractable handles, fork-lift pockets and a telescopic, stainless steel mast. Illumination is provided via four low consumption long life LED lamps, delivering over 2000sq. metres of safe, bright lighting.  Up to four Trime X-CHAIN LED sets can be connected together using the simple ‘socket-in/socket-out’ system and then attached to a single power source – either ordinary mains or a portable generator. The Trime X-CHAIN LED has no individual fuel costs or carbon emissions and will operate totally soundlessly. The unit is designed for zero maintenance and up thirty-two units can be delivered on a single truck.

The X-DUST is designed to provide workers with safe protection from airborne contaminates in concentrated areas, helping to deliver a healthier atmosphere in which to complete their duties. The X-DUST produces a fine spray of water through a series of high-pressure jets; the mist is then propelled onto the site by a powerful fan, rendering the area free from unhealthy and hazardous material.  The X-DUST is ideally suited for both outdoor and indoor applications.

Glendun Plant Sales is Trime UK’s Northern Ireland’s distributor. They are based in Mullybrannon Rd, Dungannon BT71 7ER.

Trime UK Launch X-DUST FIGHTER

Trime UK Launch X-DUST FIGHTER: Following on from the successful launch of the environmentally sound, X-SPLASH and X-BOOT site cleaning systems, Trime UK have completed the development of another water-centred product – the X-DUST FIGHTER.

The X-DUST FIGHTER is designed to provide workers with safe protection from airborne contaminates in concentrated areas, helping to deliver a healthier atmosphere in which to complete their duties. The X-DUST FIGHTER produces a fine spray of water through a series of high-pressure jets; the mist is then propelled onto the site by a powerful fan, rendering the area free from unhealthy and hazardous material.  The X-DUST FIGHTER is ideally suited for both outdoor and indoor applications.

Trime UK Launch X-DUST FIGHTER

Similar in size to a small cement mixer, the Trime X-DUSTFIGHTER is highly portable and can easily be positioned to maximise its effectiveness. An operator simply connects the X-DUST FIGHTER to a constant water source and an 110v electricity supply and the machine is ready to work.

The X-DUST FIGHTER will cover to 15 metres. The emitted nebulised water particles are designed to measure a tiny 40–120 micron diameter. This means that they mix with any airborne dust particles of similar dimensions and force them to the ground.

Trime UK’s research suggests that the X-DUST FIGHTER will become an essential health and safety component with trades such as builders, landscapers, light demolition contractors and recycling agencies. It is also an ideal product for inclusion into a rental fleet.

Commenting on this latest innovation from Trime, Paul Hay, managing director said, “The X-SPLASH has already been a great success and the interest we have received about the X-BOOT is very encouraging, so we fully expect the X-DUST FIGHTER to be an equal success.”

“Not only do these products help to improve the standards of safety on site, but they also contribute to an overall improvement of efficiency at work, whilst helping to reduce overall water usage,” added Paul.

Trime UK Limited designs, develops and distributes a range of sustainable equipment for the UK construction, rental and events markets. Trime UK is headquartered in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire; their manufacturing plant is based near Milan, Italy.
