ICL Focus On Ecoplug Max At SALTEX

ICL Focus On Ecoplug Max At SALTEX: Leading the way in offering the very best in product innovation, visitors to the ICL stand (K030) at SALTEX 2018 will get the opportunity to discover a wide range of solutions. At this year’s exhibition at the NEC, there will be a particular focus on Ecoplug Max, a patented product for tree stump control, which will no doubt draw the attention of attendees.

Ecoplug Max is a patented tree stump control application method which delivers glyphosate directly into the tree stump, killing its root system and preventing re-growth. Each plug contains 300mg of granular glyphosate which are simply placed into holes drilled into the stump using the Ecoplug drill bit. The plugs are then hammered in forcing out the sides of the plug, releasing the glyphosate into the phloem.

Ecoplug Max supports requirements of the Sustainable Use Directive (SUD) to minimise use of pesticides. With the glyphosate encapsulated inside the unit, it never gets in direct contact with anything else but the plant, minimizing the risk of the operator coming into contact with chemical or chemical spillage. It also eliminates the risk of damage to surrounding trees and vegetation. Quite simply, it stays where it belongs – inside the plant.

Visitors to the stand will also benefit from learning more about the popular Turf Rewards programme which offers all ICL customers the chance to earn points from purchases and convert them into a range of valuable agronomic or educational items. The programme is perfect for golf, sports and amenity turf managers with an extensive range of items on offer such as workplace tools, clothing and work wear, and educational vouchers. Not only does it benefit the turf manager but it is of advantage to the team, the turf, and the organisation they work for by maximising budgets with every purchase.

As well as showcasing their ever-evolving product ranges, the ICL technical team will be on hand at SALTEX to talk all things turf and landscape. The stand will also feature a coffee barista, so whether you are seeking advice on combating diseases, generally looking to improve your turf or landscape areas or have any other questions about your maintenance programmes then ensure that a visit to stand K030 is on your agenda.

Bobcat Presents New Solutions At GaLaBau

Bobcat Presents New Solutions At GaLaBau: Alongside its extensive range of machinery and attachments for use by horticultural and landscaping companies, Bobcat is premiering the company’s brand new TL43.80HF telehandler at the GaLaBau 2018 Exhibition, taking place in Nuremberg in Germany from 12-15 September 2018.

International Premiere of new TL43.80HF Telehandler

The new high performance Bobcat TL43.80HF telehandler is having its world premiere at this year’s GaLaBau. Thanks to a high lift capacity of 4.3 tonne and a maximum lift height of almost 8 m, the TL43.80HF is a compact telehandler (width 2.30 m, a length of less than 5 m from the rear to the fork face), offering an impressive package, which brings together robustness, rough terrain ability and ease of use for the operator in the same machine.

Bobcat Presents New Solutions At GaLaBau

With the new TL43.80HF, Bobcat now offers a range of fifteen different rigid frame telehandler models, covering maximum lifting capacities between 2.6 and 4.3 tonne and maximum lifting heights from 6 to 18 m. The TL43.80HF telehandler provides a new solution for heavy lift handling applications found in general industry, manufacturing, building materials, warehousing, quarrying and mining.

The TL43.80HF is also ideal for the heavy-duty, high-productivity segment of the agricultural market, taking lift capacity, lifting height and breakout force to unprecedented levels in this area. It is available with a choice of three different AGRI packs for the farming market meeting different levels of expectation in terms of ease of use and level of comfort.

First Time in Germany for New R-Series Mini-Excavators

Bobcat will also be displaying its new R-Series mini-excavators for the first time in Germany at GaLaBau. Comprising five models (E26, E27z, E27, E34 and E35z) from 2-4 tonne, the new R-Series product line offers the best combination of high digging forces, outstanding stability and effortless manoeuvrability in this category. In addition, the lower weight of the machines makes transportation easier.

Miroslav Konas, Product Line Manager for Bobcat Mini-Excavators in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, commented: “Together with the other models in the R-Series range, we developed the E27 mini-excavator specifically with German customers in mind, offering a unique combination of superior stability and class-leading digging force.”

The E27, E27z and E35z will be on display on the Bobcat stand in Hall 07, with the E34 working in the outdoor demo area at GaLaBau.

Seven Steps for a Successful Project

Bobcat is presenting its Seven Step approach for successful gardening and landscaping solutions at its booth – 1. Clearing 2. Excavation 3. Leveling 4. Surface treatment 5. Material transport 6. Topsoil backfilling and 7. Planting and care. The company is showing how different combinations of Bobcat machines and attachments offer high performance and efficiency in all types of work required in projects of this type. Additional solutions for agriculture are also being presented.

Beginning with site preparation, Bobcat is showing how an area can be quickly cleared of trees, scrub and other vegetation using a Bobcat T590 compact track loader equipped with a FRC150ST forestry cutter.

A Bobcat E10 mini-excavator with digging bucket and a 1.9 t E19 compact excavator with trencher attachment are being shown for the excavation work. For the leveling of the ground, the new R-Series E27z zero house swing excavator is being displayed with a new German tilt coupler and a grading bucket – the machine is also equipped with a dozer blade.

Bobcat’s S450 skid-steer loader is being exhibited with a landplane attachment providing further surface treatment. With this, it can grade and level in both forwards and reverse directions, and also mill and remove soil. The new R-Series 3.5 t E35z ZHS excavator is combined with a digging bucket and grapple to show how materials and soil can be moved around to the required positions.

The 5.0 t-class E50 compact excavator with leveling bucket is ideal for backfilling topsoil. Bobcat is also presenting the new E27 excavator with an auger attachment for planting work. It not only drills holes quickly and efficiently for trees and other plants but also for posts.
