It’s a proud day for everyone involved and a testament to our commitment to delivering the best for our dealers, customers, and the community.”

Since establishing its presence in the UK in 1999, Avant Tecno UK has witnessed consistent growth. Ambassador Jukka Siukosaari, representing Finland at the event, praised Avant Tecno as an example of Finnish innovation and global excellence. During his speech, the Ambassador emphasised the importance of government support in helping Finnish companies like Avant expand internationally.

Guests at the event were treated to a guided tour of the new facility, offering a first-hand look at its innovative features. From the spacious training rooms to the automated warehouse systems, the headquarters highlights Avant Tecno UK’s focus on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.

Following the tour, attendees gathered for a networking lunch, further strengthening the connections between Avant, its partners, and the local community.

Avant 225 is the Perfect Workhorse

Avant 225 is the Perfect Workhorse: For Jeff Clark, maintaining his acre-and-a-half property in rural North Wales has become significantly easier thanks to the Avant 225 compact loader.

Jeff, who has some woodland, and a main field to maintain, has found the perfect solution in this versatile machine.

Jeff has extensive experience with various types of equipment, often testing new machinery for manufacturers. Initially, he sought a ride-on mower but soon realised he needed something more versatile. “I went to Clwyd Agricultural looking for a flail mower to attach to my ride-on, but I saw the Avant and thought it looked interesting,” Jeff says. After some consideration and a test drive, Jeff traded his ride-on mower for the Avant 225, along with various attachments for it.

“I needed a machine that could mow, tow a trailer, and help me move things around the garden,” Jeff explains. “I’m 76, not getting any younger, and not as strong as I used to be. The Avant seemed to be the perfect machine to help me. It’s invaluable and well worth the money we invested. The bucket on the front is large and versatile; you can even mix cement in it, which I’ve found very useful.”

One of the standout features for Jeff is the quick-release coupling for changing attachments. “The changeover of attachments is very quick. A quick flick of a lever and there’s no effort involved,” he says.

The Avant 225’s versatility shines through in various tasks. “I’ve planted apple trees with the mini digger attachment. Rather than spending hours digging a hole, it’s done in five minutes,” Jeff explains. “The 1500 out-front mower attachment does an extremely good job, and the adjustable height of cut is perfect for the different areas we have here.”

Jeff also utilised the Avant 225 for a significant project on his driveway. “The front drive was covered in pebbles, and I didn’t want to lose them when I had it tarmacked. The Avant picked up 8 tonnes of pebbles, which I’ve since used around raised beds and paths. The machine has probably paid for itself already.”

For Jeff, the best feature of the Avant 225 is its versatility. “It does everything I want – it carries weights, pulls the trailer, and carries most things in the bucket up and down the garden. I even use it to pull trees from the woodland area with a rope. It’s a muscle saver and works really well. I don’t think I could do without it.”

“The joystick is easy to use, and the seat warmer is fantastic in the winter,” he adds.

The Avant 225’s impressive capabilities include a 1.4m lift height, 350kg lift capacity, 10 km/h speed, and 42 L/min auxiliary hydraulics. Easy to transport with a car trailer, it’s a powerful and versatile compact loader despite its small size. The articulated design and hydraulic 4×4 transmission are similar to larger Avant models, ensuring efficient operation with excellent visibility and easy-to-use controls.

As well as being impressed with the machine Jeff praised Clwyd Agricultural, the local dealer, for their excellent service and support. “They are lovely people, easy to deal with, and very helpful,” he notes.

Overall, the Avant 225 compact loader has proven to be the ideal workhorse for Jeff Clark, providing the versatility and efficiency needed to maintain his land with ease.

The strongest Avant 800 series

The strongest Avant 800 series: The new Avant 855i and Avant 845 models have entered production.

The biggest and strongest Avant loader series is now complete as two highly anticipated loader models have entered production. The Avant 855i is a single-speed version of the most powerful Avant model, the 860i. The new Avant 845 is a single-speed version of the Avant 850. Aimed at different markets, the Avant 855i complies with the world’s strictest emissions standards (Stage V and Tier 4) whereas the Avant 845 is directed to markets with Stage 3a emission standards.

Avant 855i: the power of the 800 series at a more affordable price

The new Avant 855i lifts significantly more than the next largest single-speed model, Avant 755. “The new 855i is Avant’s most powerful loader model. It is the perfect choice for Avant users who demand strong lifting capacity and lifting height but don’t want to pay extra for speed if they don’t need it”, says Tuomas Färlin, Commercial Product & Sales manager at Avant Tecno Oy.

The new Avant 855i has the same Kohler KDI engine, pump package, and electrical and mechanical components as the Avant 860i. But the Poclain MSE05 single-speed drive motors (625cc) are new. Thanks to the simpler drive motors, the price of the new Avant 855i is significantly lower compared to the two-speed Avant 860i.

Avant 855i has the same lift capacity and lift height as the strongest Avant model 860i. Also, the auxiliary hydraulics flow, the external dimensions of the loader and the options are the same as in the 860i.

The single-speed Avant 855i has a maximum drive speed of 15 km/h which is exactly right for short transitions, especially when moving with heavy loads. The pulling force of the machine on standard tires is 1570 kp.

Excellent loader

The Avant 855i is a much-needed loader model for many Avant users who do not need high driving speed for long transitions but require the lift capacity, lift height and strong pulling force of the Avant 800 series.

Stable and sturdy, the Avant 855i is the perfect choice for sites where heavy loads are moved and transitions from one place to another are not long. With the affordable purchase price of the single-speed Avant 855i, you can invest more in attachments and accessories that increase work efficiency.

Avant 845: single-speed version of Avant 850

The new Avant 845 is a single-speed version of the Avant 850 model. Like Avant 850, the Avant 845 loader has the same robust Kubota V2403 engine. With this simple single-speed version and its new 625cc Poclain drive motors, you get the strong pulling force and high lifting capacity of the 800 series at a much lower cost. With a maximum drive speed of 12 km/h, the 845 is an ideal workhorse especially for farms and construction sites where heavy loads are handled but the driving distances are short. The electrical and mechanical components are identical with the Avant 850 model, as well as the dimensions and options.

Avant Compact Loader Revolutionises Tree Peaks Operations

Avant Compact Loader Revolutionises Tree Peaks Operations: Founded five years ago, Tree Peaks has built a reputation for delivering quality tree surgeon services across Lancashire, the Yorkshire Dales, the Forest of Bowland, and the Lake District.

Specialising in domestic tree work and log processing, Tree Peaks found itself facing increasing demand for its firewood business. To meet this demand and to streamline operations, owner Bertie Pighills turned to Avant compact loaders.

“We first started with a different loader, but that wasn’t really doing the job,” Bertie recalls. “So, we went onto having an Avant, and it’s just been brilliant. It has changed the business, I would say.”

Investing in the Avant 635, Tree Peaks gained access to a powerful and efficient machine perfectly suited for professional use. With a lifting capacity of 2.8 meters and a telescopic boom, the Avant 635 proved to be a game-changer.

Equipped with a range of attachments, including buckets, forks, and a hydro rotation timber grab, the Avant 635 enabled Tree Peaks to diversify its services and handle a variety of tasks with ease.

The versatility of the Avant, combined with its manoeuvrability in tight spaces, impressed Bertie and his team.

“The Avant is just perfect,” continues Bertie. “The pivot steer is excellent for moving around the greenhouse and other tight access jobs. It is so quick and easy to change attachments too.

“For me, the weight and the size of it, and the amount it can lift, is a big factor. We can quite easily put it on a trailer and take it to a different place every time. Everything is great about the 635.”

Working closely with Rob Atkinson and the team from APSV, the main dealers for Avant compact loaders in North Yorkshire, Co. Durham, and Northumberland, Tree Peaks experience continuous support and service, further enhancing their Avant experience.

“I highly recommend both the Avant loader and APSV,” Bertie concludes. “Both work incredibly well for me.”

With the Avant compact loader at their disposal, Tree Peaks has streamlined operations, expanded their services, and elevated their business to new heights.
