Reesink Turfcare brings strong presence to BTME

Reesink Turfcare brings strong presence to BTME: Distributor Reesink Turfcare brings a strong presence to BTME 2026, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and equipment designed to streamline golf course management, improve efficiency, and elevate course conditions.

Software and technology feature heavily in three new product launches and the latest to market machinery. Here are some of the innovations on display.

Satellite technology

Thanks to Toro’s exclusive partnership with TerraRad, turfRad uses remote sensing technology to detect moisture information deep under the surface of the turf accessing everything there is to know to make actionable changes to improve irrigation.

Each sensor takes about 10,000 single-point measurements per fairway and considers the chlorophyll content and surface temperature from the microwaves naturally emitting from the soil. This real-time data is sent to the turfRad software to help provide a streamlined, more effective irrigation strategy that eliminates the need for manual labour when it comes to moisture monitoring and sprinkler adjustments.

turfRad will be on display at BTME affixed to the revolutionary customer favourite, Toro Reelmaster 5010-H, Toro Lynx software will also be available to view and Reesink representatives will be on stand to run through its UI.

Robert Jackson, Hydro-Scapes Division Manager, comments: “As a simple attachment to a Toro mower or utility vehicle, monitoring your soil to accumulate actionable information fits into the day job with turfRad. The information acquired can be used to make decisions that make savings, identify issues and irregularities, direct attention to problem areas and use water more strategically.”

Web-based digital toolkit

Intelli360 is the new web-based digital toolkit to simplify how course managers keep operations running smoothly from one day to the next. With this, they can manage equipment fleets from anywhere, monitor operating status, hours and upcoming maintenance needs and manage resources in real-time from one central hub.

Battery-powering customer favourites

Toro’s brand-new fully electric GreensPro e1700 is electric efficiency personified. It utilises two to four of Toro’s hypercell batteries, larger rollers, and a unique hitch design to allow for easy transition from rolling to transport. It will sit alongside the equally whisper-quiet, also brand new addition to the Workman utility vehicles range – the Toro LTX Lithium.

Autonomous technology

Ground-breaking when they launched at BTME last year, the Toro autonomous range including the Groundsmaster eTriFlex 3360 with GeoLink Mow and Turf Pro 300 and 500 state-of-the-art autonomous robotic mowers utilise advanced technology for consistently clean, well-maintained turf and crisply cut grass with minimal operator input and quiet operation.

These mowers care for every inch of the turf without sacrificing quality and free up greenkeeping staff to apply their specialised skills to other needs across the course, just like the autonomous technology in the Range Pro can ease the labour-intensive task of collecting golf balls from the driving range.

Jon Cole, Divisional Business Manager, Reesink Turfcare, says: “It is evident from our Toro line up how technology and software continues to lead product development, bringing big changes in operational efficiencies and the health and aesthetics of the course. Our Reesink representatives on stand look forward to talking through the products and benefits they bring with customers looking for innovations that count.”

The irrigation and water aeration offering from Reesink will have the usual focus on water sustainability. Alongside the most advanced central control system, there will be controllers and sprinklers from Toro and water aerators for creating the cleanest, healthiest water quality for your lakes, ponds, and reservoirs from Otterbine.

See what Reesink has to offer for 2026 on stand 622 at BTME 20-22 January.

Price Turfcare and Ventrac at BTME 2026

Price Turfcare and Ventrac at BTME 2026: Price Turfcare, will have a bigger stand, 122 in Hall 1, at BTME 2026, enabling them to exhibit a wider range of Ventrac products. There will be three of the 4520 tractor units showcasing an Aeravator and over seeding box combination, a triplex cylinder mower attachment and a front mounted bucket with rear mounted fertilizer spreader.

Just some of the more than 32 different attachments available. Ventrac has been particularly successful in the golf sector since being introduced into the UK by Price Turfcare. Hundreds of machines have been sold to courses over the last seven years. The BTME show stand will exhibit what is proving specifically attractive to golf course managers and operators, which is the fact that one tractor unit can complete many tasks such as mowing rough areas, collars, tee tops and fairways.

Then, within minutes, it can be used for aeration, top dressing, drainage or path reclamation tasks but for less capital outlay than something like a traditional fairway mower. The uniquely low centre of gravity allows more precipitous (up to 30 degrees) areas of the course to be tackled without fear of tipping of slipping. This versatility ensures Ventrac users get more out of the traction unit than they would out of a job specific machine. Come and see for yourself why so many golf courses are migrating towards Price Turfcare and the unique Ventract range.

KAR UK and Hunter Bring Practical Solutions to BTME

KAR UK and Hunter Bring Practical Solutions to BTME: Visitors to Stand 550 at BTME 2026 will be welcomed by KAR UK, joined by the expert team from Hunter Irrigation, for a showcase built around innovation, efficiency, and practical support for today’s greenkeepers and course managers. With an abundance of turf irrigation expertise in one place, the stand will be a must-visit for anyone responsible for maintaining healthy, high-performing golf surfaces.

This year, the spotlight will fall on two major areas of Hunter’s golf portfolio: the Pilot® Network Control System and the TTS-800 Series of golf rotors – widely recognised within the industry as the GT range.

TTS-800 / GT Series Rotors: Water Efficiency Meets Performance

Alongside Pilot, KAR UK and Hunter will also highlight the TTS-800 Series, commonly known in golf as the GT rotors. Engineered specifically for golf course performance, these rotors combine exceptional durability with some of the most precise, water-efficient irrigation available.

The GT range is built around Hunter’s signature Total-Top-Service (TTS) design, enabling every internal component to be accessed from above ground. This dramatically reduces maintenance time, eliminates unnecessary digging, and keeps surfaces playable and presentable.

From an irrigation standpoint, the rotors deliver uniform water distribution, impressive throw performance, and highly efficient nozzle options that help clubs achieve the same turf quality with less water applied. For courses upgrading older or inconsistent irrigation heads, GT rotors offer a step change in both reliability and water savings.

Smarter Control with Hunter Pilot

Hunter’s Pilot Network Control System is built around the idea that the best irrigation technology should make life easier, not more complicated. From installation to day-to-day operation, the Pilot system is designed to provide maximum reliability with minimum fuss.

Courses can choose between conventional or integrated hub configurations, allowing the system to be built around existing infrastructure or deployed as a completely modern, centralised control network. Pilot hardware can work independently or be linked seamlessly into Pilot Central Control Software, giving clubs the flexibility to upgrade at their own pace.

The software itself has become one of the standout features of the system. Pilot Central Control balances irrigation run times with both water and electrical supply to ensure the most efficient cycles possible – an increasingly important capability as golf clubs look to reduce costs, conserve water, and remain environmentally responsible. For periods when precision takes priority over pump-station efficiency, such as grow-in or overseeding, Pilot’s controller-based programming provides simple, localised control.

The latest addition to the system, the Pilot Navigator mobile app, takes flexibility even further. Putting the full power of Pilot Command Centre Software directly into a smartphone, the app allows greenkeepers to make quick adjustments, trigger irrigation, and manage key settings remotely and intuitively. With customisable features and real-time visibility, it enables users to save time, conserve water, and stay fully in control of their course – whether they’re on-site, on the move, or responding to changing conditions across the site.

Whether you’re planning a system upgrade, replacing components, or simply looking for better ways to manage water, the combined expertise of KAR UK and Hunter Irrigation will ensure every visitor receives clear, practical advice tailored to their course.

For greenkeepers and course managers facing the growing pressure of water management and system efficiency, there’s no better place at BTME 2026 to explore smarter, more sustainable irrigation solutions. Visit Stand 550 to see the technology first-hand, meet the specialists, and discover how Hunter’s golf-specific innovations can support your plans for the season ahead.
