For maximum flexibility and convenience, Webb Supreme Lawnmowers come with eight height of cut settings, from 25mm to 80mm, which are quickly and easily adjusted through a single lever movement.  Clippings are gathered in up to large 70 litre easy fit collector fabric bag with hard top, or can be discharged to the side or rear, or mulched, using an innovative 4-in-1 function.

This 4-in-1 function is just one of a host of premium features that you wouldn’t necessarily expect to find on lawnmowers at this price point.  Further features of note include clearly visible red OPC and drive levers, an integrated grass full indicator, easy to access throttle control, and quick release lever to fold handles for storage; all of which make for exceptional ease of use.

For maximum manoeuvrability over any surface, Webb Supreme Lawnmowers come with extra large ball bearing rear wheels, making for a smooth run and eliminating damage that can be caused by narrow wheels digging into your lawn and leaving unsightly tracks.

All Webb Supreme Lawnmowers come with a two year warranty and are compatible with E5 and E10 fuel, although Handy always recommend the use of fuel stabilisers with the latter to extend the life of the fuel and to protect the engine.  A full range of spares, including blades and collection bags, are held in stock.

“As one of the market leaders, Webb has a reputation for quality product that’s sensibly priced” states Mark Moseley, Sales & Marketing Director for Handy.  “For our new range of Supreme lawnmowers, we have invested considerable resources into pinpointing what customers really want from their lawnmower and ensuring our products meet – and exceed – those needs.  This new flagship range of lawnmowers is a culmination of many years’ experience in this market and the close relationship we have with our customers.  We have put our heart and soul into every part of this machinery as it’s not just lawnmowers to us; it’s satisfied gardeners creating beautiful sways of greenery!”

Supreme Lawnmowers are the latest addition to the Webb lawnmower range which include the highly affordable yet feature rich Gardeners’ World magazine Best Buy Classic 1300w electric rotary lawnmower through to the premium 21″ Alloy Deck Disc Bladed Self Propelled Petrol Rotary Lawnmower.

Campey launch sumo designed TDS2

Campey launch sumo designed TDS2: Campey Turf Care Systems has combined with British manufacturer, Sumo, to produce the Campey TDS2 sub surface sports turf decompactor specifically for the turf care industry.

The heavy-duty twin-leg machine is designed to operate behind a 40hp tractor on turf tyres and can be easily adjusted to relieve compaction and aid drainage at depths between 9.5cm and 37.5cm.

Weighing less than 700kg and fitted with Cat I and Cat II hitch, the Campey TDS2 is designed to deliver a sub-surface shattering effect quickly and effectively with minimum surface disturbance. This creates fissures for grass roots to grow into, allows excess water to drain and links up existing drainage, all without the need for external hydraulics or PTO.

It is suitable for use on all areas where subsurface compaction is a problem, including football pitches, rugby pitches and semi-rough on golf courses. This innovative new machine joins Campey’s already impressive line-up of aeration equipment and directly responds to customers needs and requests, as Campey Director, Lee Morgado, explains.

“We’re always listening to feedback from customers about the challenges they are facing, ways their maintenance practices are changing and what they need from machines, and that’s what led us to the Campey TDS2.

“We have been working on the concept for some time, so it is fantastic to finally have it out on show at Saltex for our customers to see. The response from those we’ve spoken to already has been very positive, and we’re looking forward to demoing the machine out on sites to show what it can do in the coming weeks and months.

“For us as a company, it’s been a fantastic experience to work with Sumo to bring this concept to life. They are a renowned British manufacturer with vast amounts of experience and skill, and they’ve used both of those things to produce this machine.”

Designed and manufactured in the UK by their highly skilled production team, Sumo has a worldwide reputation for the highest quality, durable cultivation equipment. This, combined with Campey’s renowned reputation for innovation in the turf care industry, has brought two market leaders together to deliver a simple but highly effective subsurface decompactor.

Air-Rops designed to save lives

Air-Rops designed to save lives: BOSS ORV is delighted to announce they have been appointed as the sole UK and Ireland distributor for all Air-Rops products. Air-Rops offer a range of rollover solutions for the outdoor power equipment industry.

ROPs on ATVs has always been a contentious issue but BOSS believe that in certain applications, and after a thorough risk assessment, they do offer additional protection for the operator. Air-Rops have the advantage over traditional ROPs of not raising the centre of gravity of the machine as it sits lower than the operator when not deployed. The first Air-Rops product BOSS ORV has introduced is the AR Quad safety bar, for ATVs and agricultural machinery.

The AR Quad uses Air-Rops technology in a fully automatic Roll Over Protection System. They base the technology on state-of-the-art automotive components, including safety electronics and proven and reliable airbag gas inflators. The AR Quad electronic control unit continuously monitors the behaviour of the quad and warns the rider with acoustic and visual signals when the vehicle is about to reach a state where stability is compromised. The system automatically evaluates the rollover condition until a tilting state is reached and, only when the tilt takes place, activates the rollover bar. The electronic control unit operates the inflator, and the gas is fully released, extending the bar and the mechanism locks. The system only operates when the rider enters and cannot avoid the full tilt. The final position after deployment of the ROPS is limited to a maximum 90°, preventing full rollover which not only helps minimise personal injury it also reduces damage to the quad.

The universal AR Quad design fits most ATVs with independent suspension using bolts on the luggage carrier and towbar. Installation is easy as the system comes fully assembled and only requires the ATV dealer to perform simple electrical and mechanical actions. It requires no scheduled maintenance and is reusable after a rollover. It just needs inspection and approval by an ATV technician, and the gas generator can be replaced to return the bar to its original condition. Because it sits low behind the rider and is compact, you don’t notice the AR Quad when you are driving, only when it is needed. The system is SGS Certified and CE marked, adhering to the strictest environmental and regulatory standards. Anyone using a quad should seriously consider having an AR Quad fitted, it could one day save your life.

Air-Rops will only be available through specialist approved dealers and regional distributors and unlike other ROPs will not be available by mail order or directly online. This is to ensure that every unit is correctly installed and able to be monitored by the supplying dealer. For all enquiries, you can contact sales@bossorv.co.uk and visit www.bossorv.co.uk
