AriensCo EMEAA – Leadership team complete

AriensCo EMEAA – Leadership team complete: Just over a year ago, Jochen Schneider took over responsibility for the European, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Pacific region as Executive Vice President (EVP) EMEAA for the multi-brand company AriensCo.

Since then, intensive work has been done on the vision and organisational structure of the European AriensCo. With effect from 1 October 2022, the management team around Jochen Schneider is now complete.

“With immediate effect, we are setting out together with AriensCo to be the best partner for our dealers and customers in the core segments of high grass mowing, lawn care and snow clearance in EMEAA as well. I am particularly pleased that we have been able to fill many of the newly created management positions with existing employees from the production sites in Germany and England,” said Jochen Schneider as part oft he presentation of his management team.

Maria Lange takes up her new position as Vice President RapidCare EMEAA. She is responsible for technical support, order processing, logistics of spare parts and new equipment across all AriensCo product brands. Already well established in the US, Maria Lange intends to firmly install the RapidCare service brand in EMEAA as well. In order to be able to fully concentrate on this comprehensive task, she will hand over her management tasks at the Bühlertann location to EVP Jochen Schneider in the future.

Darren Spencer remains Managing Director at the UK site and also takes over responsibility for production at the sites in Germany and England as the Vice President of Plants with immediate effect. Darren Spencer has been part of the company for 32 years and has held various management positions at Great Haseley.

Stephen Kuester has been leading the engineering and product development teams in the UK for the past two years and will continue to lead this area as Vice President for Engineering and R&D for the entire EMEAA region with immediate effect. The engineer and product designer brings over 25 years of experience from various industrial sectors in leading positions.

The responsibilities of Georg-Otto Fuchs, Vice President Product Management & Marketing EMEAA, include the product and brand strategy for the entire region across all product brands as well as the AriensCo Academy. Previously Head of Marketing, Service and Product Management at AS-Motor he has been working successfully for the company for six years. In his new role he will work closely with sales and Brad Stiles, the Vice President Sales EMEAA. Brad Stiles has been active in this function since May 2022.

Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology

Mark Scavillo was appointed Senior Vice President Finance EMEAA in July this year. He is now also responsible for overseeing the Human Resources and IT functions within the business.
Tamara Hauenstein, who has been Head of Human Resources at the production site in Bühlertann for six years, now becomes Vice President Human Resources with immediate effect. The HR executive is a trained coach and trainer. Taking into account the AriensCo core values, Tamara Hauenstein will be responsible for the implementation of the HR strategy and measures derived from it for the EMEAA region in the future.

Wolfgang Fiedler, previously Head of Operations and IT at AS-Motor, is now responsible for the entire IT environment in the EMEAA region as Vice President Information Technology (IT). One of his tasks will be to unify the different systems at the various locations. His eleven years of experience at AS-Motor and previously at other companies in this field are an excellent basis to master this difficult task. The position of plant manager in Bühlertann is open and currently being advertised.

Yvonne Broomham appointed by EMEAA

Yvonne Broomham appointed by EMEAA: Yvonne Broomham has been appointed as AriensCo’s new Senior Marketing Manager for EMEAA. Yvonne brings versatile experience in international marketing; having worked with some of the world’s largest brands. With expertise in driving effective marketing strategies, innovation and digital communications, her appointment significantly strengthens AriensCo’s marketing team.

The new appointment underlines AriensCo’s sustained investment in its European operations and reinforces AriensCo as one of the fast-growing outdoor power equipment specialists in EMEAA. The appointment is just the latest in a calculated list of measures to expand the brand’s scope including the acquisition of German mower manufacturer, AS-Motor, the appointment of both Jochen Schneider and Brad Stiles to EVP of EMEAA and VP of Sales for EMEAA, respectively, and manufacturing all CE petrol zero-turn mowers in its UK factory.

Brad Stiles appointed by EMEAA: AriensCo, an industry leader in outdoor power equipment, is pleased to announce the appointment of Brad Stiles as its new Vice President of Sales for EMEAA. Stiles, who has been with AriensCo for over 11 years, brings unparalleled expertise that will help drive AriensCo’s sales throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa while also ensuring continued growth in Asia Pacific and across UK business activities.

The new appointment highlights AriensCo’s continued investment in its operations and will help AriensCo continue to grow its commercial presence throughout EMEAA. This includes the acquisition of German professional mower manufacturer, AS-Motor, appointing Jochen Schneider as Executive Vice President of EMEAA and moving its CE zero-turn mower production to Oxford, United Kingdom.

Stiles, whose father worked at AriensCo for over 25 years, vacates his previous position of Director of Sales and Marketing for EMEAA – which he was promoted to in 2020. It was in this post that he demonstrated an exceptional understanding of the Ariens business in the UK, including the key differences between the UK, European and US markets, built lasting relationships within the EMEAA distributor networks and helped customers achieve their goals.

Stiles will report to Jochen Schneider, Executive Vice President of EMEAA and is eager to get to work, “For over a  decade I have witnessed AriensCo’s fast paced growth and now, in this new position, I can play an even greater role in keeping up that momentum. From strengthening current markets to reaching new ones, these truly are exciting times for AriensCo and all its customers, present and future.”

Regional sales managers in Germany, France and UK along with the export sales teams from EMEAA will report into Stiles.

AriensCo Expands EMEAA Footprint

AriensCo Expands EMEAA Footprint: U.S. based manufacturer, AriensCo, has expanded its presence in Europe with the acquisition of AS-Motor, on 3 May, 2021. The move is the latest demonstration of AriensCo’s commitment to its development within the European market and follows last year’s announcement of Europe’s first zero-turn production facility at their U.K. plant in Oxford.

This latest acquisition expands the company’s European footprint, which also has locations in the United Kingdom and Scandinavia with a 112,000 sq ft manufacturing and distribution facility, over 150 employees, over 750 dealers across the U.K., Norway, Denmark and Sweden.

AS-Motor is a third-generation family-run enterprise and has been a quality manufacturer of professional mowing solutions for high grass and slopes since 1959. The company employs 140 people. 90% of these employees work in Germany. Approx. 55% of sales are generated in the German market and approx. 45% in the rest of the world. Headquartered in Bühlertann, Southern Germany, AS-Motor products are sold through 400 dealers in Germany, over 100 dealers in France and distributors throughout the rest of Europe and the world.

Both AS-Motors and AriensCo are experiencing continued high demand, and the broadened product portfolio complements both companies’ long-range goals. AriensCo and AS-Motor will leverage the combined European sales and marketing infrastructure to expand the reach of both brands.

Ariens’ New Director of Sales EMEAA

Ariens’ New Director of Sales EMEAA: Ariens Company  can confirm the appointment of Jackie Williams to the role of Director of Sales EMEAA. She will be coming into the role to succeed John Horn, who will be retiring from the Ariens Company at the end of 2018. Jackie, who will report to Vice President of EMEAA, Darren Spencer, brings a wealth of experience to the company and will assume responsibility for sales and distribution of Ariens products through Ariens subsidiaries located in the U.K. and Norway, and Ariens fifty plus distribution partners worldwide. 

Jackie joins Ariens having built a successful career over twenty-five years in international sales and distribution management.

“We’re very pleased to have Jackie become part of the Ariens Company team,” says Darren Spencer, “she brings vast experience of multi-channel product sales and distribution across all continents, at an exciting time in the development of Ariens’ EMEAA expansion.”

Reporting in turn to Jackie will be Ariens European Sales Manager, Massimo Caner, Matt Wilson, UK Sales Manager and Scandinavia General Manager Frank Brenn. Jackie’s previous role was International Sales Director of Derwent, a division of ACCO UK Ltd, achieving year on year growth in sales and profitability. She holds post-graduate diplomas in Marketing, Export Marketing and Business Studies & Finance, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Ariens Company is a family owned business that has built a reputation for engineering excellence, manufacturing Ariens products in the US since 1933. The fundamental principle driving the design of every Ariens product remains the same today: building hard-working, reliable tools that are passed on from generation to generation.
