A firm favourite worldwide among grounds managers for more than 20 years, the CP3 Evolution is tough, durable and gives operators the spray quality they demand.

With an eye on comfort and safety, the knapsack features an ergonomic carrying system that includes tailored shoulder straps and waist belt designed to work better for longer.

Twin tank handles give operators added dexterity, while the proprietary pump system lengthens lifetime and optimises operational convenience.

Berthoud Vermorel knapsacks straddle the diversity of demand across sport, amenity and landscaping sectors. Like every model in the range, the Pro Comfort 2000 features bespoke waist and chest safety harnesses, ergonomically contoured with sturdy backframe to heighten operator comfort and limit body stresses imposed during spraying.

Like its sister models, the Pro Comfort 2000 is easy to use, service and repair to give groundscare professionals the `best buy` value, while a host of spares and accessories such as spray shields, seal and nozzle kits and multi-nozzle spray booms further extend the knapsack’s flexibility.

“Both models typify product features common to both brands,” says Allan Wainwright, UK National Account Manager, “They are modern, serviceable and robust, delivering the reliable spray pressures vital for operators to apply correctly calibrated treatment liquid dilutions. I look forward to presenting these premium quality knapsacks to the lucky winners during Saltex,”

New stand location for Vanmac

New stand location for Vanmac: Having attended SALTEX for many years with their iconic range of blowers, scarifiers and vacuum sweepers, Trilo will be returning to Birmingham this November on a joint stand with parent company Vanmac Ltd.

It’s been a busy two years for the team, and visitors to their new stand location K070 can expect to see many of the developments – including the first showcase of Progressive trailed and mounted rotary mowers following Vanmac’s appointment as full-line distributors in March.

The recent extension of the partnership between Vanmac and Progressive means their range of innovative, rotary finishing mowers is now available to customers across the full spectrum of applications – from sports fields to golf courses, turf producers and local authorities. A particular highlight for SALTEX will be the debut UK outing of the tri-deck TDR-X contour mower. The three independently floating decks promise to closely follow the contours of the ground, without scalping, offering a combined cutting width of 3.2m and an easily adjustable cutting height range from 9.5mm to 84.5mm.

Alongside Progressive, stand K070 will feature equipment from another new franchise in the Vanmac portfolio. Brouwer Kesmac have a long-standing, established reputation in the turf grower sector with a range spanning harvesters and pedestrian rollers, together with trailed verti-cutters, aerators and cylinder mowers of interest to landscapers and green space managers. Completing the line-up, visitors will also be able to catch up on the developments with the Trilo range, including the independent-drive T1 suction unit.

On hand to advise on all of the expansions, including the changes to their nationwide dealer network, will be the Vanmac team. A number of full-range dealers, as well as those with exclusive agreements for either the Trilo or Progressive franchises, have joined the fold to offer sales, service and back-up support to customers around the country.

GroundWOW® gearing up for success

GroundWOW® gearing up for success: North-West autonomous technology innovators, GroundWOW, have been gearing up for success aided by the gradual opening-up of sport around the globe.

“There has definitely been a discernible change over the past three or four months. We developed so much through the pandemic itself and since then, it feels like target clients have really switched on to getting back to their business. For us, that has meant being busier than ever with product demonstrations at our HQ near Manchester or at client sites” commented Chief Commercial Officer, David Pritchard.

“The willing embrace of the likes of Zoom and MS Teams through the pandemic allowed us to remote in contacts from all over the world who have been clambering to see what we are up to. Truth is, we can entertain anybody either virtually or in person, and the real magic moment is when a target customer is able to view their logo being printed live from the viewing platform directly above our indoor test track. For lots of customers, that is when the penny really drops” continued Pritchard.

Outside of events and demonstrations, the team behind the world’s first autonomous full colour ground printer has been eyeing up new premises as the expansion of their enterprise continues.

“We knew when we moved to our current address that we would outgrow it quite quickly and that is exactly how things have played out. The team has grown enormously. If we look back to Saltex 2019, there were probably eight or ten of us, but we are already approaching thirty employees with a plan to double that inside the next twelve months. We design and develop here, we manufacture here, we test and demonstrate here, all of our future pipeline comes from here…and that all brings with it a requirement for more space”.

GroundWOW are also entering an active schedule of exhibition and conference events as part of further revealing their technology to the world of sport. GroundWOW attended Leaders Week at Twickenham in October and as well as Saltex in November, will attend and present at Stadium Business Summit at Emirates Old Trafford in December. “It’s all part of what we consider the missionary work – taking a new technology to an expectant market and walking through how it works in such a breadth of use-cases” added Pritchard.

“Internationally, we have been hamstrung like everybody else by the inability to travel and so we are thrilled to finally be planning trips to the Middle East, South Africa, the U.S, Australia and New Zealand. We will certainly be racking up the air miles as we undertake the next phase task of establishing operational bases in these target territories. Beyond sport, our autonomous technology has found application in healthcare and other sectors creating significant hyper growth opportunities. You could definitely say it is a busy time for us at GroundWOW!”.

Launched in October 2019, GroundWOW® was developed with a founding mission to make printing on ground as easy as printing on paper. GroundWOW® SPECIAL FX can print any logo, any size, on any surface. Deployable in under 10 mins, autonomous technology, A.I and an end-to-end Cloud platform combine to create images as accurate as a blade of grass.

GroundWOW and GroundWOW Special FX are trademarks. GroundWOW is a trading name of Micropply Limited.

Campey excited for SALTEX

Campey excited for SALTEX: After a year away from the Birmingham NEC, Campey Turf Care Systems is excited to welcome show attendees onto stand H082 at Saltex 2021.

The two-day indoor exhibition on November 3rd and 4th signifies an important milestone on the road to normality and is an excellent opportunity for the Campey team to catch up with old and new customers.

Speaking about the upcoming show, Campey Turf Care Systems Managing Director Julia Campey said: “The return of an indoor show has been a long time coming, and we are all looking forward to seeing everyone in person to talk about the latest machinery, turf maintenance techniques and industry news.

“It’s been a difficult time for everyone, and whilst things seem to be reaching some normality, this is one of the most significant milestones in our industry because we’ve been without an indoor show for so long.

“We’re excited to have the Campey range of machinery on display, including the new Campey Pedestrian AeraSeeder, which will be on show for the first time at Saltex.”

The brand-new Campey Pedestrian AeraSeeder will be exhibited along with popular machines from Air2G2, Imants, Vredo and Dakota. The pedestrian overseeder is an exciting addition to Campey’s range, with it specifically added to tackle hard to reach areas that larger machines can’t access.

Smaller areas such as ornamental gardens, cemetery plots, golf greens, goalmouths, and other bare areas are easily accessible for the machine, which is only 83cm wide. It provides simple yet accurate overseeding, with a 60cm seeding area and a multi-spiked roller that produces approximately 800 perforations per square yard, effectively saturating the top surface with a network of holes.

This network, combined with the brush and smooth packing roller systems and stainless-steel seed apertures, offers the highest percentage of grass seed germination.
