GreenBest Ltd to Showcase Innovative Fertiliser Solutions: GreenBest Ltd, a leading provider of cutting-edge fertiliser products, is thrilled to announce its participation in SALTEX 2023. You can find us at Stand C100, where we will be unveiling our latest advancements in the world of turf care and fertiliser solutions.

One of our company goals is to further expand our organic and biostiumlant range and move to more sustainable sources. That’s why this year we’ve expanded our Velvit range to include four new organic/organo-mineral products: Shea Spring/Summer, Shea Autumn, Fulvic Acid and Humic Acid.

Shea Spring/Summer & Shea Autumn are meticulously crafted from the byproducts of shea seed processing, often discarded as waste, to create a valuable and eco-friendly resource. Our Shea products demonstrate excellent levels of organic matter, promoting a healthy carbon-to-nitrogen ratio. Available in 1-2 mm and 2-3mm for use on fine turf or larger areas, ask our team for more details.

We have also been working hard to produce content, courses, and webinars for the GreenBest Academy; an educational provision brought to you by our FACTS-qualified team of experts. The GreenBest Academy will grow your knowledge in all areas of fertilisers, turf management, lawn nutrition and ornamental horticulture. GreenBest proud to be back at SALTEX: We’ll be back at SALTEX to exhibit our wide and unique range of Velvit fertilisers, wetting agents and biostimulants. You’ll also be able to find out more about our Bespoke fertiliser services, our SmartLawn range, new products we have released this year and what’s to come for 2023. 

The Velvit range has had some new additions this year. In late spring we launched a brand-new granular wetting agent – SATUGRAN which is now available to purchase through one of our many distributors and has given some very positive results throughout the UKs summer drought.

Due to the high demand of our Onyx range, we have expanded our range of organic fertilisers and biostimulants. ‘Onyx 13-1-2 + 30% amino acids’ is a quality homogeneous organic fertiliser with highly effective biostimulant properties. We have now successfully registered and certified this through OF&G as an approved input for organic use.

Onyx offers a vital food source for soil biology, increasing the resistance to stress, disease and drought. In part this is done by increasing root depth and surface area along with stimulating biology in the rhizosphere, giving the plant increased access to nutrients and water.

Here at GreenBest, we see the development of organic inputs as crucial to the progress of our industry and reduced reliance on synthetic fertilisers. Our goal over the coming years is to further expand our organic and biostiumlant range and move to more sustainable sources.

GreenBest appoint Connor Burford

GreenBest appoint Connor Burford: The Somerset-based fertiliser company GreenBest team has expanded with the appointment of Connor Burford as Product Technologist. 

Connor joins GreenBest having worked in Devon after finishing his degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Plymouth. Whilst at university Connor worked in a variety of different scientific settings as a research assistant, including ecotoxicology.

With this new appointment GreenBest is strengthening their Quality Control process and introducing new systems to ensure optimum productivity across all ranges. Connor joins GreenBest at a stage of rapid growth in the company, having recently installed an onsite coating plant, and opened a new, secondary, site.

Connor explained “I’ve really enjoyed working at Greenbest thus far; the company has an impeccably heritage and reputation that it’s been an enjoyable challenge to find ways to refine and build on this.”

James Whittick, Sales & Marketing Director at GreenBest added “This is a really exciting time for GreenBest as we expand our product ranges and bring on new people to help with this. Connor has already proved himself an asset to the company, with a wealth of new ideas and practises to help take GreenBest further.
