Bobcat introduce new branding

Bobcat introduce new branding: Bobcat has introduced a new branding identity which reflects the company’s iconic ‘One Tough Animal®’ brand message, while representing more powerfully the core qualities of Bobcat equipment: Tough, Agile and Versatile.

At the same time, the new look unifies and strengthens the visual identity of all Bobcat product lines. The new styling is now more modular and can be applied to machines of all different types and sizes.

Bobcat introduce new branding

As the first step of implementation of the new branding, the machine design element of the new scheme was used in the 2- to 4-tonne R-series mini-excavators launched last year. New styling decals have now been added and are being launched to complete the new brand identity. In the EMEA region, the M-series loaders (S450, S510 and S530) will be the first product line to carry the new styling – and these machines will be commercially available from January 2020. The next product line with the full new design in EMEA will be the R-series loaders, also in 2020, followed by others later next year.

New Styling Displays Strength

For a number of years now, Bobcat’s products have enjoyed a strong identity composed of white, black and orange colours with the Bobcat logo.

“The simple vertical and horizontal character lines and the flat surface of the styling have served us well,” explains Jin Hup Yeu, from the Doosan Design Center in Seoul, who led the design team. “Yet, this is a completely new design for a new era – and the very attractive silhouettes and optimal proportions emphasize its unique personality. Moreover, the new 3D-effect decal creates a more dynamic, 3-dimensional look-and-feel with the machine’s exterior design, evoking more emotion in the viewer.

“The graphic design also radiates a compact and robust look well-suited to the equipment. Instead of simply straight lines, the new design uses a slight curve to better convey strength and toughness. And with a stronger, sharper-and-edgier profile, the new design communicates a more advanced, high-tech image. Moreover, the Bobcat logo on the back is finished with a stronger and more visible styling, with slight variations to accentuate the design of the particular product line.”

Synergy of Tough, Agile and Versatile

The design language is slightly different according to the type, function and size of the equipment. For example, the compact machines emphasize the ‘Agile’ and ‘Versatile’ qualities with a look that is stylish and sleek. On the other hand, the larger tonnage machines put the focus on their ‘Tough’ and robust qualities.

By anchoring the new styling in the Tough, Agile and Versatile keywords of Bobcat’s DNA, the designers have breathed new dynamism into the equipment’s distinctive silhouette and the unique, time-honoured Bobcat image.

TS Industrie Introduce Panther 56DS

TS Industrie Introduce Panther 56DS: When purchasing a shredder it is important to source a machine that can process a diversity of green waste material as shredding very rarely involves wood alone. Besides mainly branches in winter, in autumn a lot of leafy and wet green waste needs to be cleared, in spring you have to cope with a variety of materials, ranging from blossoms and hedge trimmings to all other kinds of damp and bulky green waste and also in the summer months the pruning of hedges generates a large amount of woody and leafy waste.

TS Industrie – leaders in Green Waste shredding technology extend their current range of Green Series Shredders with a preview of the NEW and exciting Panther 56DS SHREDDER offering more efficiency in green waste shredding.

TS Industrie Introduce Panther 56DS

The NEW GS/Panther56DS positions itself between the existing popular GS/Jaguar45DS and GS/Cobra 75DS, and is particularly suited to the needs and requirements of communities or landscape companies. The GS/Panther allows the reduction of waste volume up to 7 times compared to a conventional chipper.

Equipped with a powerful Kohler 56 HP diesel stage 5 engine with Particulate Filter, combined with a Power Mixed Rotor, a large hopper for team work and a 500mm feed belt to optimize its performance, the Panther 56DS achieves an average yield of 36m3/h, with an impressive  material diameter of up to 19cm and delivers excellent performance.

It also plays its part in the comfort of its users and the environment, with its DRI Soundproof Cowling, its CO2 reduction option, its parallelogram drawbar adjustable by a simple crank and its computerized Pilot Control System – “Swing”.

Visit the Arb Show on demonstration plot D07 where PSD Groundscare will be showcasing the TS Industrie Panther 56DS and there will also be a range of green waste shredders from Belgium manufacturer Eliet, including the popular Super Prof Max on tracks which offers a powerful; solution for those hard to reach areas.

Avant Tecno Introduce New 800 Series

Avant Tecno Introduce New 800 Series: The completely new 800 series from Avant Tecno is the largest and most powerful loader series from the Finnish manufacturer. It pushes the limits of compact loader’s performance with 1.900 kg lift capacity and 3,5 m lift height. Still, its dimensions – width 1,5 m, length 3,4 m, height 2,2 m and weight starting from 2.500 kg – and articulated design make the 800 series a very versatile and powerful compact loader.

There will be two models available to start with:

  • Avant 860i with Kohler KDI 1903 TCR 42 kW/57 hp common rail turbocharged diesel engine, EU Stage V and US Tier 4 final compliant.
  • Avant 850 with Kubota V2403 36 kW/49 hp diesel engine, destined for markets outside the scope of EU Stage V and US Tier 4 final emission standards.

Avant Tecno Introduce New 800 Series

Hydrostatic transmission with a hydraulic drive motor on each wheel together with two drive speed areas is a familiar feature of Avant compact loaders.  Max. drive speed of the 800 series is 30 km/h and auxiliary hydraulics oil flow for attachments is as high as 80 l/min.

Telescopic loader boom is standard feature on 800 series as well. The boom extends and retracts hydraulically 825 mm and gives a max. lift height of 3,5 m to the hinge pin. This enables loading on trucks with high sides, on mixer feeder wagons etc. – and unloading from high level. The hydraulic self levelling system keeps the load automatically level when lifting and lowering the boom.

The 800 series is equipped with Avant quick attach system for attachments – other systems like Euro 3 will be available as an option. The hydraulic hoses of the attachments are coupled with the multi connector, which allows easy connecting with a single hand movement – in all conditions.

Avant 800 series has a certified ROPS/FOPS open cab as standard, in addition an enclosed heated cab is available as an option. This DLX cab mounts on the chassis of the loader with anti-vibration mounts, which guarantees excellent noise and vibration isolation.  Efficient heating and ventilation and large windows further improve user friendliness. The DLX cab can be equipped with air conditioning as well.

The comprehensive Avant attachment range – over 200 attachments – is available for 800 series also. This makes the 800 a very versatile and useful machine for many different customer groups: landscaping, construction, property maintenance, agriculture, various material handling jobs etc.

Avant 800 series will be introduced at the bauma 2019 exhibition in Munich, Germany on 8.-14. April. Avant stand at the bauma is FN.1020/5.  Projected production start is in the fall 2019.

Rigby Taylor Introduce Cold Start Boost-R

Rigby Taylor Introduce Cold Start Boost-R: Rigby Taylor has introduced Cold Start Boost-R 11-5-5 +8 Fe + O.8 MgO as a true cold start fertiliser that provides turf with nitrogen in cold conditions, in conjunction with a rapid colour boost.

Effective at temperatures of 5 degrees C, Cold Start Boost-R will prepare the plant for the spring, greatly improve early season colour and assist in combating turf disease attack while enabling grounds staff to produce playing surfaces that continue to meet expectations.

Rigby Taylor Introduce Cold Start Boost-R

With a nitrate and high iron content, as well as magnesium for increased colour, Cold Start Boost-R also includes zeolite to reduce leaching and improve cation exchange capacity

Nitrogen: an application of a fertiliser containing sulphate of ammonia, urea and nitrate in temperatures of 5 degrees C, will enable the nitrate to provide the plant with a quick ‘kick’, while waiting for the sulphate of ammonia to become available.

Iron provides an almost instant visual response and will assist in the hardening of the plant foliage as a defence against early season disease pressure. This also helps reduce surface scarring.

There are three-fold benefits of the use of magnesium compared to formulations containing just nitrate and iron. Magnesium allows the plant takes to up nitrate when it is photosynthesising, even at cold temperatures, naturally provides colour and increases the plant’s ability to utilise iron.
