Allett Launch Uplift 86

Allett Launch Uplift 86: Allett Mowers has launched the new Uplift 86 stadium rotary mower.

The new mower is built on the experience of the previous model, coupled with the feedback of groundsmen. This is an altogether solidly built, tougher machine with its stainless steel fabricated cutter deck and three piece, full width, steel roller.

Allett Launch Uplift 86

Allett has created an 86cm/34” solid and dependable stadium rotary mower in the Uplift 86. Twin, 18” contra rotating blades produce a high lift cut and vacuum for increased efficiency, making it the ideal mower for debris collection after matches. The 90 litre grass bag capacity means fewer trips to empty cuttings.

As you would expect with Allett, the rear roller produces the most perfect stripes. The cutting height is micro adjustable between 1.5 and 7.5cm (0.5in – 2.3in) and among the new features is an HOC front locking kit and lower handle stiffening.

The Uplift 86 features a five speed heavy-duty gearbox, with cast aluminium housing and steel gears, which allows the operator to select a comfortable forward speed with greater control in small, intricate areas.

Higher speed selection, up to 6.7km/h (4.2mph), quickly covers large areas for increased efficiency. There is a separate bail bar for the roller drive and blades which allows the operator three modes of selection: roller drive only, blades only or roller drive and blades. The blades are driven by the belt drive and there is a safety blade brake. The handle bars are adjustable for operator comfort.

Reliability and durability are inbuilt in the Uplift 86 with new chain self tensioning, bearing protection on the toothed pulley and solid front tyres running on bronze bushes, which are greasable for maintenance. A 223cc Briggs & Stratton 950E vertical crankshaft OHV engine featuring ‘Ready/Start’ drives the Uplift 86.

An optional accessory of an Uplift 86B fixed strip brush is also available with soft, medium or hard bristle.

T H WHITE To Launch New Models

T H WHITE To Launch New Models: The brands Ferris, Wright, Spider and Jensen are synonymous in their sectors with high quality, innovation and problem solving. In 2018, the UK distributor T H WHITE Machinery Imports is delighted to be once again supporting the IOG and SALTEX, showcasing these four brands with an increased visibility at the event, with a huge stand size of 175m2 to give them the space and presence they deserve, including two new product launches from market leaders Ferris and Spider. The team were thrilled last year to be awarded the Best Stand award in the ‘Open Space 60m2 + category’ and are hoping to replicate this success at the 2018 event with an even larger open stand, 50m2 bigger than the 2017 space, located at stand number H190. This year models from all four brands will be displayed together, showcasing the variety of innovative equipment available through the Machinery Imports business, including a range of Ferris zero-turn mowers, Wright stander mowers, Spider slope mowers and Jensen woodchippers.

From Ferris, the stand will feature a range of machines from the smallest model – the 400S, launched in 2018, up to the bigger mowers for larger-scale commercial grass cutting, including the all new ISX®800Z, launching at Saltex this year and available from 2019. Brand new from Ferris, the zero-turn, ride-on ISX®800Z features the latest technology to provide a commercial mower with superior performance, quality and comfort. The 132cm rear discharge deck features a factory-fitted mulching insert as well as Ferris iCD™ technology, with the user also benefitting from mowing speeds up to 16km/h. All new to the industry is the addition of a double wishbone suspension system, providing increased contact with the turf for more uniform, high quality mowing, as well as ensuring a more comfortable ride over bumps and dips in the ground with improved steering and handling.

T H WHITE To Launch New Models

The all new 400S, which was launched this year, features the patented Ferris all-round suspension as well as an innovative ‘Triple Deck’ with easy-to-change deck options including side and rear discharge, mulch and 50/50 rear and mulch discharge options. Not only that, all 400S models bought this year come with a free Service Jack for easy and quick maintenance and deck changes.

In addition, visitors will be able to see a selection of Wright zero-turn stander mowers and remote-controlled robotic slope mowers from industry leading Spider, with the ability to mow uneven, dangerous and sloping terrain up to 55° – all with zero-turn, four-wheel drive (called the ‘Dancing Step’ by its designers in Czech Republic) and ability to cut up to 7000m2/h. Launching from the Spider team this year is the all-new Spider X Line, their smallest commercial machine to date offering a compact profile but a huge performance. With an integrated winch capable of supporting the machine in mowing up to 55°, 6 km/h mowing speed, 65cm deck width and zero-turn drive, this 1m2 robotic mower has the cutting capacity of 3 operatives with brush cutters.

As well as pioneering groundcare machinery, Machinery Imports are pleased to display examples from the wide range of Jensen woodchippers available in the UK, the largest of any chipper manufacturer in the industry.

In support of the IOG and in attendance at SALTEX again this year, Jensen has models ranging from 6” to 12” in capacity, including trailed, tracked, PTO and custom options, as well as a turntable option on all 8” and above chippers. Jensen really does offer a chipper for all customers and situations and we’d be delighted to talk to visitors about the solutions on offer at our SALTEX stand.

Whilst horticulture and arboriculture can be very distinct sectors, we meet customers regularly that require machinery for both grass and tree care. This overlap affords us the opportunity to present all four of our brands together to provide a varied choice of machinery for those users who require a combination of horticulture and arboriculture equipment within their business, as well as knowledge and insight on both sectors to provide customers with the most accurate and useful information possible to make an informed buying decision.

The team are looking forward to meeting new and existing customers and dealers on the stand, H190, showing the vast selection of machinery on offer and discussing opportunities for free demonstrations and site visits throughout the coming months.

ECHO Launch New Chainsaw

ECHO Launch New Chainsaw: ECHO is setting a benchmark for rear handle chainsaws with the launch of the new CS-4510ES. It packs a real punch with its 45cc two-stroke stratified scavenging engine and the power-to-weight ratio makes it more powerful yet lighter than previous models. This is a chainsaw loaded with new features but still built to exacting ECHO standards. It offers a better output of 2.3kW and yet weighs in with a dry weight of just 5.0kg.

Lift the CS-4510ES and you immediately feel how light it is. Start cutting logs or use it for felling small trees and you realise it is no ordinary chainsaw. You know instinctively the moment you start work it’s been designed by engineers who understand what the operator needs in terms of performance, durability and ergonomics. The Stage II emission compliant engine is one of ECHO’s new engine platforms. The two-stroke has a piston operated scavenging system in which a layer of fuel-free air is created between the burnt charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase. The buffer reduces the fuel laden losses during the cycle.

ECHO Launch New Chainsaw

This translates into a chainsaw that generates more torque to cut faster and more efficiently through harder wood. Add in features such as the new air filter design which shields the engine from dust intake, the drop-out prevention nuts, translucent fuel tank, and the ES Easy Start system, and it’s easy to see why this very different looking chainsaw is going to be much in demand with a wide range of users.

The ECHO CS-4510ES is a machine that not only increases productivity and reduces downtime in maintenance, it also comes with a two-year professional warranty or five-year domestic warranty.

Compact Spider Mower To Launch At SALTEX

Compact Spider Mower To Launch At SALTEX: The name Spider is synonymous in the sector for innovative, industry-leading machinery that tackles even the most challenging terrain.

Designed and built at high-tech premises in the Czech Republic by the team at Dvorak, Spider slope mowers are the only remote-controlled, robotic mowers in the world that offer zero-turn capability to cut grass on slopes up to 55 degrees. Now, the Spider team from the Czech Republic and the UK distributor T H WHITE Machinery Imports are excited to unveil a brand-new slope mower, launching at SALTEX at the end of October on stand H190.

Compact Spider Mower To Launch At SALTEX

The new Spider X Line is their smallest commercial machine to date, offering a compact profile with huge performance. The X Line includes all the benefits of a larger Spider slope mower in a 1m2 sized machine, enabling users to get the very best performance while being able to transport the mower easily on a trailer or in the back of van. With an integrated winch, until now only seen on the larger Spider mowers, the X Line is capable of mowing slopes up to 55° – that’s 17° more than the worlds steepest ski slope, Harikari in Austria – which boasts an eyewatering 38° pitch!

With an incline as steep as that, there is naturally great concern in mowing grass with an operator using a ride-on or pedestrian mower, or strimmer. This is where the Spider X Line will excel, remote-controlled from a distance to ensure complete operator safety. The remote control also removes the operator from the working area of the mower, away from noise and vibration, meaning there is no limit on safe use considering HAVs, WBVs and Noise. Not only that, the X Line can mow at speeds of up to 6 km/h with a 65cm mulch cutting deck, meaning you can cut more grass in less time. The unique wheel stowage design enables the incorporation of a specially designed terrain-following mowing deck, giving you a consistent, high quality cut on the most uneven turf.

In fact, the X Line has a cutting capacity equivalent to 3 operatives with brush cutters, meaning that not only is the job completed faster and more efficiently, but it also allows for operatives to be redeployed to other tasks while one person controls the Spider.

Unique to Spider is the ‘Dancing Step’ drive system, which enables the X Line to move with zero turn capability. This is supremely useful when mowing around obstacles or when coming up against boundaries, saving time on each turn compared to other robotic mowers.

Finally, in addition to its powerful Honda GXV390 10.2hp petrol engine, the X Line boasts a lightweight chassis and four-wheel drive, giving it exceptional traction with gentle treatment of turf even in wet or soft conditions and eliminating erosion on slopes.

In addition to exceptional performance on slopes and inclines, Spider mowers are proven to excel in other unsafe or challenging environments across the UK, including airports, motorway and railway verges, lakes and riverbanks, around reservoirs, powerplants and solar farms, orchards and vineyards and in military facilities. Machinery Imports Director, Tim Lane, is looking forward to showcasing the new X Line at SALTEX ahead of it’s release to the market in 2019. “This is an exciting time for Spider and Machinery Imports, and we are pleased to launch a new commercial mower to the industry for 2019. The X Line is a true all-round robotic mower, offering features that are unrivalled in the market at the moment and the ability to outperform its competitors on sloping and even ground. We’re looking forward to demonstrating the X Line in the New Year to interested customers and working with our extensive dealer network to promote this innovative machine.”

As part of the Machinery Imports stand at SALTEX this year, the Spider X Line will be proudly displayed for visitors to find out more about it and see the innovation for themselves. We welcome all visitors to the event to see us at stand H190 to learn more.
