MM Seed to Showcase Leading Golf Mixtures at BTME: MM Seed will be returning to BTME from 20-22 January, welcoming visitors to Stand 124 to explore some of the industry’s most trusted grass seed mixtures for golf courses. Throughout the event, their knowledgeable team will be available to offer tailored advice on renovation, overseeding and choosing the right mixture for every course environment.

Fairway Focus: MM22, MM50 & MM13

Among the products on show will be MM22, a dependable option for divotting, repairing and renovating tees, fairways and outfield areas that take on significant wear. Its rapid establishment, strong recovery and impressive sward density make it ideal for clubs that need a mixture they can rely on throughout the season.

Visitors will also be able to learn more about the hugely popular MM50, a fast-establishing ryegrass blend that delivers consistent year-round performance. Known for its resilience and fine leaf characteristics, MM50 produces a dense, clean-cut sward that stands up well to close mowing and heavy traffic, while also offering high levels of disease resistance.

For those managing lower-input sites, MM13 provides a traditional, high-quality option for overseeding and renovating tees, fairways and roughs. With excellent drought tolerance, strong recovery and good disease resistance, MM13 is well suited for areas where reliability and ease of management are essential. Its ability to maintain colour and performance through winter further adds to its appeal.

Greens Mixtures: MM8 & MM9

For greens, MM Seed will be showcasing MM8, a 100% fine fescue blend ideal for links and heathland-style environments. Featuring top-rated cultivars such as Sybille, MM8 delivers a fine, dense sward with exceptional drought tolerance, low nutrient requirements and enhanced disease resistance. It supports sustainable maintenance practices and is particularly effective for spring and summer overseeding.

Also highlighted will be MM9, a premium browntop bent mixture designed for summer overseeding, autumn renovation and new green constructions. Renowned for producing a fine, dense and smooth putting surface, MM9 offers excellent year-round colour, strong disease resistance and impressive tolerance to close mowing, making it a trusted choice for high-performance greens.

Kubota to showcase high-cut capability at BTME

Kubota to showcase high-cut capability at BTME: Kubota is set to make a popular return to BTME, once again partnering with Baroness to showcase a reliable and powerful portfolio of Japanese turf maintenance solutions on stand 624. The focus for 2026 is innovation in their out-front mowing range, with the FC4-441 fitted with a deck offering an impressive height of cut up to 7” taking centre stage.

The FC4-441 is the latest addition to the FC mower range, designed to deliver versatile cutting performance on large areas such as parks and sports facilities. Equally at home on the golf course, the FC4-441 will be presented at BTME with a new out-front rotary cutting deck, capable of the higher heights of cut required for heather management, wildflower maintenance or the preservation of wildlife areas and longer roughs.

While the updated deck delivers improved performance in longer or more delicate vegetation, with a quick and simple adjustment the FC4-441 can cut other peripheral areas around the course – offering greenkeepers flexibility without compromise on cut quality or productivity – or even be used as a leaf collection unit thanks to its generous 1300L hopper.

No Kubota stand is ever complete without a compact tractor or two, with both the B2-261 and L2-452 making an appearance in Harrogate this January. Renowned for its power-to-size ratio, comfort and adaptability, the B2-261 is a popular choice with golf courses across the country. Meanwhile, the L2-452 combines robust, reliable technology with a high degree of operator comfort – providing 45hp of manoeuvrable performance for all mainstream maintenance tasks.

One of those tasks is aeration, with the L2-452 equipped with the Baroness TDA aerator showcasing the epitome of a productive partnership.

Visitors to stand 624 can also ask their questions to the Kubota technical team, who will be on hand across the three days to advise how these machines and others can support more efficient and sustainable golf course management.

Easy to operate and built with capability in mind, the EK1-261 HST is perfectly suited to grassroots sports facilities – offering Kubota reliability and back-up support in an entry-level set-up that promises unbeatable return on investment.

Complementing these will be a selection of Kubota compact tractors and utility vehicles from the RTV range. Kubota will also be joined on stand by representatives from Terrako – Kubota’s new online ordering software for genuine parts – and Baroness, making E060 a ‘one stop shop’ for high performance power and implements suited to all applications and every grounds maintenance professional.
