EGO showcases innovations at SALTEX

EGO showcases innovations at SALTEX: EGO Power+ is set to make a return to Birmingham’s NEC for SALTEX 2025, showcasing its latest portfolio of tools and technology for 2026.

Central to this year’s showcase is EGO’s AURA-R2 robotic mower range – the next generation of EGO’s robotics portfolio with the market’s latest available cutting-edge technology. Featuring PATH IQ Technology, the range combines advanced navigation systems, precision cutting technology, and user-friendly smart features to deliver industry leading performance, reliability and versatility in even the most complex of gardens.

Vince Brauns, Group Product Director for EGO, said: “The AURA-R2 range represents our commitment to pushing boundaries in autonomous technology and we’re excited for SALTEX visitors to be some of the very first people to see the range.”

Also at the show are major new additions to EGO’s PRO X range of tools for commercial and local authority users. Engineered to deliver even longer run times and maximum performance for power-demanding professional tools, SALTEX visitors will also be some of the first to see EGO’s first ever Tabless Cell battery – the 56V ARC Lithium MAXTM, which is compatible with EGO’s existing range of tools

Another first for the PRO X range, EGO will introduce the single-sided hedge trimmer. Boasting a 75cm blade to tackle larger hedges in fewer passes, it will increase efficiency for professionals.

EGO will also exhibit its new LMX7600SP 76cm lawnmower which offers the widest cutting width in the PRO X line-up and includes dual battery ports for PeakPowerTM technology, for increased runtime.

“This year, we are proud to present products that redefine expectations in battery-powered tools. From our most powerful battery yet to our first robotic mower range without a boundary wire, we are setting the standard of what the future of battery power can achieve”, continues Vince.

Additionally for 2026, EGO is adding not one, but four new lawnmowers to its Power+ portfolio all of which have been upgraded with new features including an LED dashboard, improved power and grass collection performance. EGO is also expanding its lifestyle product line, with its first-ever 3-in-1 Compact Inflator, alongside smaller, portable versions of its pressure washer and wet/dry vacuum – perfect for users who want to use their EGO batteries beyond the garden.

On the stand, there is an opportunity to take part in an exciting competition to be in with a chance of winning an EGO lawnmower.

Visitors of the show at The NEC in Birmingham on the 12th – 13th of November can find EGO’s latest product offering on stand B120.

The unrivalled automated features on the Accu-Pro 633 provide a step-by-step tutorial for new technicians and a quicker setup and spin grind feature for the more experienced operators. You tell the machine what you’re working on, and it automatically spin or relief grinds to completion. Pre-programmed spin speeds, relief torque, and in-feeds are only a few features in the ACCU-Touch 3 system that ensure efficiency and guarantee a quality grind with every use.

Joining the other machines will be Foley’s new floor level 642 Quick Spin Reel Grinder. The new grinder is designed to accommodate the widest of mower cylinders and is a simple roll-on roll-off solution to grinding, with the machine sitting at floor level. The roll-on roll-off solution removes the need for heavy lifting facilities, revolutionizing how equipment managers view touch-up spin grinding.

It offers a fast, easy-operated option for providing a quick touch-up spin between regular relief grinding schedules, and is a solution for sharpening the extra wide, heavy mowers used on sports fields/pitches. The Foley 642 Quick-Spin features simple to use controls, counter balanced spin drive, patented front and rear clamping system for pedestrian mowers, and power rear positioning levers for cylinders. It will accept up to 42-inch reel width and operates on 240v/15a power.

ProSport UK Ltd Managing Director Ian Robson will run demonstrations throughout both days of GroundsFest and be available to discuss any questions or requirements.
