KYMCO UK appoints new Senior Area Manager: KYMCO UK has announced the appointment of Damian Butterworth, Senior Area Manager to cover Northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland from 7th May 2024.

In his new role, Butterworth will be covering all products from the KYMCO range, including motorcycles and scooters, ATVs and mobility scooters and powerchair products.

Ideally placed to cover the important northern region for KYMCO UK, due to being based in Leeds, Butterworth brings extensive experience, due to previously held roles in the ATV and Marine sector for manufacturers such as Honda UK.

Butterworth commented: “I aim to bring a wealth of experience that will support and guide the KYMCO dealer network and ensure a quality support programme is in place for our growth plans for the future across all our business sectors.”

Butterworth began his career in the automotive industry over 35 years ago, starting out as an apprentice mechanic and rising through dealership ranks to management level which included training and business development roles.

KYMCO UK increases ATV safety awareness: KYMCO UK has boosted its commitment to ATV safety by joining forces with the European ATV Safety Institute (EASI) – an industry safety body, which offers new KYMCO ATV customers with a free training course aimed at encouraging increased safety awareness.

The agreement provides new KYMCO ATV purchasers with EASI’s ‘ATV RiderCourse’ at zero cost. The interactive hands-on learning experience, normally with an RRP of £180 +VAT, promotes the proper and safer use of ATVs.

Cramer UK subsidiary Set to go LIVE: After successfully introducing the Cramer brand of professional battery-powered tools to the UK through Handy since 2021, Cramer is now ready to launch its own subsidiary, scheduled to go live on 8th of April 2024.

With new offices and a new warehouse based in the Swindon area, Cramer is now geared up to support its 82v commercial products across the UK. A new dedicated team of back-office staff, sales team and demonstration teams have now been in place for several weeks. Cramer UK is now set to demonstrate the performance and quality of its 82v range for the commercial market, share its battery knowledge and capabilities, present the best charging solutions and, most importantly, demonstrate the cost efficiency for ownership over petrol, for a better world.
