Agrovista Amenity Announces DJ Turfcare Agreement: Agrovista Amenity has reached an agreement with DJ Turfcare that will see it become the exclusive distributor for the Viano range of organic fertilisers and lawn care products throughout the UK (excluding Northern Ireland), effective from 21 July 2025.

The agreement signals an exciting development for Agrovista Amenity as it strengthens its offering to both the professional and retail markets. Best known for the hugely popular MO Bacter organic-based fertiliser, the Viano brand is RHS-endorsed and well-established in the UK, with a loyal customer base.

“This agreement further demonstrates our commitment to the development and expansion of Agrovista Amenity,” said Dan Hughes, Head of Commercial at Agrovista Amenity. “Viano is a long-standing, respected brand with an extensive customer base, and we’re proud to be taking on the responsibility of representing it across the UK. David Jenkins (Managing Director – DJ Turfcare), Barbara Jarman and the team at DJ Turfcare have done an exceptional job in growing the Viano brand over many years, and we look forward to continuing that journey.”

As part of the agreement, Agrovista will work to supply the existing UK distribution network and ensure continuity. A dedicated internal team will support the transition and ongoing development of this part of the business.

David Jenkins will also be working closely with Agrovista Amenity as a consultant to ensure a smooth handover and continued high levels of service and support to customers.

David would like to thank all suppliers and customers who have shown such loyalty to Viano products over the past 25 years. He is delighted that Agrovista has agreed to continue marketing and supplying the Viano range in the UK. Confident that demand will keep growing, David believes the public’s increasing awareness of the nourishing and ecological benefits of organic and organic-based fertilisers will drive future success. He extends his best wishes to both Agrovista and Viano for the next chapter.

Trilo Smart Industries will focus its efforts on their specialised trailed vacuum products, while Redexim will enhance their product range by incorporating the high-quality blower products into their range and will take the reins in distributing the Trilo blower range under the Redexim brand.

With our existing Partners catering to customers in golf, sports turf, municipalities, and similar sectors, incorporating these products into our range was a logical step forward.”

Christiaan Arends, CEO of Vanmac Group, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration. “We are happy with this agreement as Trilo wants to focus on our well known trailed vacuum products.

This agreement with Redexim gives us full focus and power to keep developing, producing and marketing the best trailed vacuum machines in the world.”

Redexim will assume responsibility for sales, marketing, distribution, and support of both new and existing Trilo blower machines in the market. Trilo blower products will be rebranded as Redexim while maintaining the commitment to quality and reliability expected from both Trilo and Redexim. Consequently, Trilo will cease offering the blower as a standalone product under its brand.

This collaboration underscores the commitment of both companies to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to turf managers worldwide. By combining Redexim’s extensive distribution network and market expertise with the renowned performance of Trilo blowers, customers can expect enhanced accessibility and support for these essential turf management tools.

Kubota UK sponsorship agreement with Hickstead Ltd

Kubota UK sponsorship agreement with Hickstead Ltd: Kubota UK are delighted to have entered into a sponsorship agreement with one of the country’s most recognisable and well-respected equestrian sporting venues, the All England Jumping Course, Hickstead, with an agreement which sees the supply of additional machinery support for their busy 2023 events season.

With sponsorship of a further eight machines, Hickstead are operating a fleet of 15 Kubota units including compact tractors, RTV’s and ride-on mowers which will be pivotal to preparations, including for the Longines Royal International Horse Show on the 26th – 30th July.

“Our facilities include grass and all-weather arenas, and an outdoor showground which is mainly grassland and typical Sussex countryside” explains Showground & Estate Manager William Bunn.

Spread across hundreds of acres, the grounds team of 14 have a vast and varied workload and, since taking delivery of a fleet from Kubota, have not been disappointed. “We have multiple operators, with differing levels of experience, who have all commented how intuitive and well thought out the Kubota machinery is to operate. The ease of access for daily checks and maintenance proves that the range is designed with the operator as a priority.”

Kubota’s sponsorship and additional event support sees Hickstead running 15 machines in total, including M Series tractors, LX Series compact tractors, RTV side by side machines and ride on mowers, in use across the estate as the team ramp up preparations for a packed calendar of events. “One of the noticeable differences with moving to Kubota is the strength and high level of build quality across the range.” William adds, “From a management point of view, the machines have proven to be extremely reliable – our down time has reduced and when we have needed advice, the support from our local dealership, Rod Gaskin Ltd, has been faultless.”

New Syngenta and ICL agreement: Syngenta and ICL have signed a new  agreement to continue and enhance the strong relationship that has brought great innovation, investment and service to the turf industry.

The move reinforces the close working relationship of ICL’s unparalleled nutrition expertise, industry support and technical field force to deliver Syngenta’s world leading technical R&D products and services over the past 15 years.

It will also ensure the continued investment and development of research and technical innovation that has pioneered many of the advanced Integrated Turf Management techniques now successfully implemented by turf managers.

The extended agreement comes at an exciting time for both companies introducing ground-breaking technological advances. That includes the launch of ICL’s eqo.s® controlled release fertilizer technology and Syngenta’s new fungicide, herbicide and biocontrol products, along with Acelepryn and NemaTrident integrated solutions for turf soil pest control in 2023.

Announcing the new agreement, Syngenta Commercial Head, Daniel Lightfoot said: “The combined strength of ICL and Syngenta has, over the past 15 years, pioneered the products and the techniques to deliver huge advances in the management of high-quality turf and amenity landscapes.

BunkerMat Gen2 is now 4x stronger than the original liner with the new stitch through construction, and the sand retaining top surface is now tightly fixed into the geogrid backing.

BunkerMat was designed as a golf bunker liner unlike many of the other products being sold as liners. Its strong, reliable and very cost effective; indeed, you can see a return on investment in 3-5 years.
