Trilo M10 delivers cleaner, greener grounds

Trilo M10 delivers cleaner, greener grounds: Glendale Services, one of the UK’s leading national grounds maintenance contractors, has strenghtened a longstanding relationship with Trilo by investing in a new Trilo M10 vacuum collector – supporting large-scale grass, leaf and debris collection operations across London and the South of England.

A vast and varied fleet of equipment facilitates Glendale’s work on contracts around the country, with around 1500 staff spanning their grounds maintenance, corporate and arboricultural divisions. The company has relied on Trilo equipment for much of their three decades in business, using a wide range of models including the M10, M12 and numerous SU40’s to meet the demands of its large-scale operations.

“We’ve used Trilo machines for basically as long as they’ve been available in the UK” said Neal Harper, Group Machinery Manager at Glendale Services. “Some of our units have given us more than 20 years of reliable service, so when it came to investing in something reliable, efficient and built to last to support a new, long-term contract, the M10 was the natural choice.”

The 10m3 capacity Trilo Multipurpose replaces a long-serving predecessor and was specifically selected for its combination of high productivity and compact dimensions, suiting the access requirements of key urban and parkland sites. “We looked at larger models, but our work often involves navigating tight paths or gateway so the M10 was the perfect fit – literally!”

Among its many applications, the M10 is equipped with a flail shaft for meadow cut and collect, and easily swapped to the brush attachment for grass and leaf collection and major event clear-ups, including post-race operations for the London Marathon. Equipped with an electronically controlled Wonder Hose, the new model enables single-person operation, improving efficiency and reducing staffing requirements on certain jobs. “This feature makes a huge difference on big clearance jobs, meaning one person can work quickly and safely” he adds.

Neal went on to praise the consistent customer support from Trilo’s Jeremy Vincent. “Jeremy knows the machines inside out and always finds an answer to our questions – even arranging for us to have a demonstration of the M10 with another customer when the demo unit was out of the country.”

For the delivery of the M10 Jeremy was supported by established Trilo dealer, and trusted partner for Glendale’s operations across the South, Lister Wilder. Neal concludes, “We couldn’t be happier with the service and performance of the M10. Our Trilo machines of all sizes and configurations continue to give us exactly what we need and deliver outstanding results for our clients on every job.”

Trilo introduces new innovative hydraulic arm

Trilo introduces new innovative hydraulic arm: Leading manufacturer of professional vacuum collection systems, Trilo, has announced the addition of a new, innovative hydraulic arm – designed to make the operation of the suction hose faster, easier and safer than ever before.

The hydraulic arm allows the suction hose to be extended or retracted, lifted or lowered, directly from a joystick in the tractor cab, enabling a single operator to handle the task of leaf or debris clearance with ease. The innovation not only reduces manual strain, but helps to enhance efficiency and productivity in the field.

Trilo’s unique suction hose is 300mm in diameter and is traditionally mounted on the right hand side of the S-Line and M-Line range of vacuum collectors. Intelligently designed, the suction hose can now be hydraulically extended to 900mm for suction of material from ditches, roadsides and other hard to reach locations. When the job is complete, the hose can be conveniently retracted for work close to the vehicle or for safe transport.

“This development puts productivity and operator comfort front and centre of every task” explains Trilo’s Jeremy Vincent. “The Trilo range is renowned for its versatility and, with the Multi Purpose models in particular, combining the new hydraulic arm with the interchangeable shaft system brings unparalleled multifunctionality to a machine in its class.”

“Now available to customers in the UK, this new addition represents another step in Trilo’s ongoing commitment to delivering smart, user-friendly solutions to green space management.”

Trilo makes GroundsFest debut with Multipurpose showcase

Trilo makes GroundsFest debut with Multipurpose showcase: Trilo are looking forward to making their GroundsFest debut this 9th and 10th September, with a showcase of multifunctional vacuum collectors on stand RB220 at Stoneleigh Park.

Renowned as one of the global leaders in the field of leaf clearance, Trilo’s Multipurpose range extends the robust performance and versatility of their units to other green space maintenance tasks including cut and collection and large-area scarification.

The Trilo Multipurpose range is proof-positive that versatility doesn’t have to mean a compromise in performance. Where other collectors spend the months outside of leaf-fall season in the shed, the Trilo range – which spans models from 3m3 to 20m3 – works on, successfully completing tasks around the maintenance calendar for local authorities, golf courses and other green space managers.

Visitors to the outdoor display area at GroundsFest will be able to find the Trilo M4 and, larger, Trilo M10 on display. The M4 with its 4m3 hopper capacity, offers the compact, quick collection of leaves – making light work of one of the autumns most time-consuming tasks. When not collecting leaves, clippings and other debris in the autumn, the Trilo Multipurpose can be equipped with a scarifier shaft for the effective scarification of large areas such as parks or fairways – with all extracted material simultaneously collected in the same pass.

Alternatively, a flail shaft can be fitted for the fast cut and collection of areas such as golf roughs, roadside verges or the annual end-of-season maintenance of wildflower meadows.

The interchangeable heads can be quickly swapped in and out, with minimal tools, resulting in less time spent in the workshop and more out in the field. Further efficiency is also delivered by Trilo’s hydraulic high-tip function, offering the controlled disposal of waste into compost or awaiting containers. For the first time the M4 will also be displayed with a fully-hydraulic work arm, a new feature for 2025, enabling the wanderhose to be operated from the comfort of the cab and meaning all aspects of the machine can be operated by just one person.

Power up your green performance and find out how Trilo is the perfect addition to any maintenance fleet by speaking to a member of the technical team, on hand to answer all of your questions across the two-day show.
