Moor Park reaps benefits after switching to Club Car

Moor Park Golf Club in Hertfordshire, UK has praised the impact of its new Club Car golf fleet, describing the innovative vehicles as a game-changer.

The prestigious venue, boasting two Harry Colt-designed championship courses, has installed 30 Tempos – Club Car’s industry-leading golf vehicle – complete with Bluetooth speakers and Club Car Connect technology with Visage Fleet Management.

“We wanted a premium golf cart that would offer a better experience for our golfers and be more efficient operationally,” said Amber Rees, Moor Park’s Golf Manager. “Club Car ticks both boxes.

“Our course is very hilly, so lots of our members need a cart. We also have a lot of corporate days, which is when Club Car Connect comes into its own, allowing us to display scoreboards on the screens in each vehicle and giving us control over where they can and cannot be driven.

“We’re a clay course so it does get quite wet in the winter. Having the ability to geo-fence certain areas will mean we can get more use out of them during those months, ensuring they do not go on particularly wet parts of the course.”

Rees added: “The level of service we’ve received from Club Car and the distributor, Oliver Landpower, has been excellent, as has the feedback from members and guests. And they look fantastic lined up in front of the mansion.”

The spider lift industry is rapidly evolving as contractors, arborists, rental companies and facility maintenance professionals demand emission free, silent and full performance spider lifts without compromises. Leguan Lifts is answering this growing demand by offering its All-Terrain series lifts (170, 195, 225 and 265) with in-house-produced Avant Power OptiTemp battery.

Work Full Day with One Charge

Choosing zero emission is no longer a compromise. Leguan’s All-Terrain series paired with the OptiTemp battery offers unmatched operation time and diesel-equivalent performance. Operators can work a full day on a single charge.

Unlike generic battery solutions, the unique liquid-immersion technology keeps the battery pack operating at an optimal temperature at all times, delivering exceptional safety and consistent performance in all conditions. The battery pack is designed and manufactured in Finland by Avant Power to match Leguan’s exact requirements. The complete electric infrastructure is engineered as an integrated system to ensure efficient and reliable operation.

Purpose-built for Leguan All-Terrain Series

The OptiTemp-powered Leguan is not an additional model to the existing lineup, it is a power train option to the current fleet where customers now have the option to choose whether they want to have the diesel powertrain or an electric powertrain. The actual spider lift and its user interface remain the same. Both powertrains offer all the premium features and harmonious fleet design Leguan is known for.
